      They don’t stand by what happens on their site. You are at the mercy of whomever you are buying TCGplayer doesn’t care about you. It’s awful experience as a buyer. You hardly if ever get to see what you are purchasing and god help you if the seller sends you the wrong product, you are never going to get the one that you ordered.

      I sold a card for $115 and the buyer received the card and left me a 100% review. The company is refusing to send me my money. I've sent several emails to no avail.

      Misleading by starting off with immediate and ideal transactions, that quickly switch to “lost in the mail” or other excuses, with minimal to no response or support, aside from a copy/paste response from a dialogue prompt sheet. Would not recommend. Rating them on their own business only results in removed reviews or throttling your account to the frustrating point of no use.

      Most of my purchases from Sellers on TCG Player have been fine and a positive experience. That said, you are 100% rolling the dice on this website and their "TCG PlayerSafeguard" is an absolute joke bordering on false advertising. For context, I purchased a $3,000 sealed case of booster boxes from a seller. Immediately after the transaction, the seller posted the tracking number for an e-shipping label. A few days later, I messaged the seller to inquire when they would ship the case, and the seller claimed to already have dropped the package off at USPS. I called every USPS store in the vicinity (Clifton, NJ) associated with the tracking info. They all confirmed they had never received a package associated with that tracking number or directed to my address. I shared this information with TCG Player customer support and they proceeded to respond with canned messages and templated responses telling me to wait a full 15 business days before initiating a dispute. Then, after waiting 15 business days, I contacted them again only for them to tell me to message the seller to work it out and wait another two business days. They literally do everything they can to frustrate and stonewall you while sellers they rate as "Gold Star" sellers scam people on their marketplace. To date, I still have not received a refund for the transaction from TCG Player and the seller is still active on their site. I subsequently disputed the transaction (under TILA) with my credit card company and received a credit for the full amount. As a result, TCG Player restricted my account from making purchases in the marketplace. Imagine retaliating against a customer for exercising their consumer fraud protection rights under applicable law and then replying to their support message with, "....we are here to ensure you have the best service experience possible."

      Terrible customer support service and unreliable for collecting trading cards. After my first purchase I was already scammed and the support team claimed I received what I ordered regardless of the video/ photo evidence that I provided.

      I've used them for years. Now after ebay about them change of quality of shipping. Memberships and send you damaged cards, don't worry you can send them back with time and resources lost. Every month I have been sending stuff back to them and they don't seem to care. You communicate other then cradling a puddle you get suspended for verbal abuse, which is subjective. And 10+ times of asking people from sales and IT depart to delete my accounts I keep get "problem solved" due to me not writing an apology email for which i was initially blocked from? I just want my information deleted and their refusal makes me question the future longevity of the company.

      I used tcgplayer for a long time, over a few years and make hundred of purchases. I also sell on tcgplayer under the seller name *************** with that email address with a few thousands sales and 100% feedback. I was recently on a trip for a few months oversea from may 2024 to october 2024. I went online to make a few purchases to have it shipped to my hawaii address. Some of my purchases went through, then some others were cancelled for no reason and say there is issues with my account. Then i email support and they start saying it was because i create another account with tcgplayer which i did not, i only attempt to make a guest purchase with another email after my purchased on my actual account were cancelled so their reason is invalid and not correct. Furthermore, their support communication was unsupportive, ambiguous, unclear. Overall i think something shady is happening with tcgplayer recently and whether they will resolve this for me or not i think tcgplayer quality of service has gone down and i will taking more of my capital for ******** and business elsewhere. Also if there is tcgplayer replacement in the fufure i will welcome them to the market of collectible cards as what tcgplayer has done which is unfairly and unjustly have completely lost my trust and loyalty and respect for them.

      Terrible scam website. Spend an hour sorting through listings to add #260 of product to my cart -> order gets cancelled for support for no reason. "Sorry, just re-add them to your cart and buy again." Spend another hour to add everything to cart -> Tcgplayer swaps them for more expensive TCGPlayer direct cards. Absolute scam website, DO NOT USE THEM.

      I preordered through TCGplayer from seller ******* for 3 boxes of cards on Nov 2 for about 105$ each. The day came and no notification from the store for up to a week after release. Never got any updates/heads up that there were delays/shortages. I had to contact them 1 wk after and they said it would ship out that day. They added a tracking number, but still shows waiting to ship. They reply they can refund if still not shipped by ***. Why wasn't this told much earlier so people could cancel before prices jumped? They have numerous reviews of the same thing happening - Seller claiming they shipped it but all shows that they weren't even dropped off. They clearly had no intention of selling and shipping these preorder items per their feedback. Did all their shipments for OP-05 happen to be returned by Usps despite showing it was never dropped off in the 1st place? And then no heads up or communication from them? I still see they are selling and wondering why that's allowed if they're clearly scamming. It's been 2 months since my purchase and only now am I receiving the refund which is unacceptable. Price for each box was purchased at 104$ and now they are selling for double that price. How is that fair that now I have to wait or pay twice what I ordered them for because they were allowed to sell these preorders on the platform and now are still allowed to operate on TCGplayer? They were required to fulfill 100% of their orders per TCGplayers pre-sale policy but have clearly not. Tired of dealing with both them and tcgplayers support. Their chat bot just sends you in loops. They have no phone number and support email will contact you 2-3 days later. Only reason I've decided to go for the refund is because I see there's no chance of them fulfilling it and I want to be done with it. I asked TCG player support if this seller receive any consequences on their end but they just keep copying and pasting a generic script and saying this was possibly a mistake. Doubt it.

      We purchased ********* (whch is part of tcgplayer) and were told the software could be setup so shipping is disabled. After multiple conversations with *********/tcgplayer reps, it turns out that is not possible. I asked for a manager to call me or if I could talk to someone, they refused and we were told "When you're ready to deactivate your ********* account, feel free to reach out to me directly." No apology was offered, reconciliation of any sort was offered.
