The Roofing Guys replaced my roof in the spring of 2021. Two months later I noticed a hole had been broken in a corner piece of the siding over the porch roof and that I could hear rain dropping in garage wall. I called. Someone came. Said they 'didn't do siding' and just used silicone caulk to hold the broken piece in place. He tightened up some flashing where the second floor is perpendicular to garage. We also noticed on same wall, the siding was blowing off as it had not been replaced properly. I could not get the siding company to come out and fix the siding since my mother had owned the house in 2006 when it was intalled, the contractor had retired and I didn't have all of the original paperwork, I spent the net 2 1/2 years trying to get TRG or anyone to come out to fix my roof and siding. No one shows up. One handy man came and put the siding back on as best as he could w/o taking the whole thing down. On the top roof, he said the collar on the chimney stack had not been placed back properly after the roof was put on. I got a water stain on my ceiling last year and started calling TRG again. No reply. The plywood on my garage roof, the studs in the garage and the rafters have been wet for three years. I can hear the rain in the porch roof and it continues to rain in the garage wall. Feb 2024, New spot on upstairs bathroom ceiling. I called and said I wanted my money back to hire a reputable company. They finally called back. "our supervisor will be in contact with you immediately." Two weeks later a man shows up and looks around. Haven't seen him since. Left a bad review in their site. Owner responded immediatly, "secretary will have someone call you today." It's been two weeks. Crickets. I want a refund. I'm done with them. I need it fixed before the entire garage roof rots. They suck.

In two thousand nineteen the roofing guys put a new roof on my house. There's a twenty year craftsmanship warranty with hundred percent material and labor included. In early two thousand twenty three I noticed a leak in my crawl space where the chimney is. It took weeks for somebody to come out here and to potentially fix the problem. It seemed o k for a while and recently in the last couple months at the end of twenty twenty three into the beginning of twenty twenty four, the leak has gotten really bad. I have called and emailed to leave messages. Finally I did speak with a female on the phone who told me that the owner would call me. That has yet to happen and the leak is getting worse. I have to wrap towels to absorb the water And I'm fearful that I will have severe damage to the wood inside the crawlspace. The fact that I cannot get a hold of anybody and no one calls me back is aggravating. The fact that this has not been resolved and I have potential damage occurring up there is really bothering me. How can a company give you a warranty but yet they can't get the job done in an appropriate amount of time if something is wrong. I never had any leaking or any problems with my roof before I had them put a new one on and now I can't even rely on them to fix it. I have called other roofing companies to see if they'll fix it. And of course, they said they will. But since it's under warranty I should have the original existing company excess.

Roof was replaced 6/15/23. In doing the job my gutter guards were damaged. After repeated calls and emails to get them to correct the damage, they got as far as removing the gutter guards on 11/22/23, which are laying in piles around my house. I have heard nothing from them since.

The roof was installed on Nov 26, 2019. Using one sheet of plywood ( of the 50 ) that was dropped in my yard, roof stripped to 1x6 spaced out boards. Roof was cut open at peak and a verrrry wavy piece of plastic ridge vent was put on ( taken out on next visit ) Roof took a day to install. The workers have returned 5 times since that day, for leaks on the roof that has caused significant damage to the interior lath and plaster, insulation in ceiling and wiring in walls. The first return trip being two days after installation. Return trips were on 9-10-20, 9-14-21, 9-16-21, 10-13-21. Caulk and a band aid were used. The final straw was on 6-21-23 when the new manager of 3 weeks came over, no moisture meter ( said they didn't own one ) would not feel the wet walls, would not take pictures, instead wanted to return when it was raining so he could remove shingles to check for leaks and underlayment material. On Friday September 8th I sent a text asking for insurance information as they are fully insured and there is a 10 year warranty ! I was ignored ! ( On 6-20-23 I went to the company and asked for the insurance information and the secretary asked if I wanted to put it through my own insurance, I replied, then why would I be here : ( ) On Aug 18, 2023 I sent a letter to the company with pictures. Again ignored. My resolution would be to get the roofing guys insurance information so I can file a claim. Thank you.

While we are not acknowledging that the roof is leaking, we do suggest to the customer to start the processor filing a claim with her homeowners insurance who will then be referred to our insurance company. They will work together to determine what needs to be done and come up with a resolution. Our manager had to deal with someone in your household that was under the influence and using obscenities and becoming threatening. We wish you to allow the insurance companies deal with this if you have a case.

Our roof was put in by The Roofing Guys and comes with a warranty. Shingles have been falling off the roof and there is now a bare spot where they continue to fall off. I have been calling the Roofing Guys since the beginning of June and they keep telling me they will be out next week…it’s now September and still no one has come to repair the roof. I am worried about damage to the house at this point from the exposed roof.

A roof was supposed to fix fixed but none of that was done

As you can see by the estimate we were hired to replace wind damaged shingles, seal all penetrations on the roof, and replace a pipe boot for $1,500 plus tax. The service charge included 2 services at this rate with 3 employees. We even went a 3rd time for free to try to help the customer. We thoroughly explained this repair in person to the homeowner. The roof is in extremely bad condition and needs to be replaced as well as a lot more work put into the fascia, soffit, rafters, etc. The homeowner says they do not have funds to do the full roof at this time so we tried to do a repair in the meantime to help prevent more damage from being done to the inside of the house. This repair did hold for quite some time, but the homeowner needs to replace their roof and they were make well aware of this. If the homeowner were to upload photos like he did on his review link on Google it is very clear that we tried our best to help the homeowner, but we can not service this roof anymore with repairs, it needs a full replacement. We did the job we were hired to do plus even a 3rd time, there is nothing more we can do without replacing the roof and charging the homeowner.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The contract states clearly that the entire roof will be patched, the contract was not kept period.Attached is the contract with some pictures of after the service. Regards, ******** ****

The contract does not state the entire roof will be patched. It states wind damaged shingles to be replaced, penetrated areas to be patched & sealed, and pipe boots to be installed, all of which was completed on 2 different occasions. I have now attached text messages between you and the estimator clearly stating our patch jobs withstood the rain, meaning they were completed satisfactorily.  The estimator made it very clear that you need to have your roof replaced and $1,500 was going to get your a temporary repair which was done completely and satisfactorily to hold you over until you could gather funds for a roof replacement.
