on june 22 2022 i filed an appeal to healthplex regarding the approval of two crowns for teeth 3 and 4. previous to this a dentist put two crowns on these teeth which should have not been placed due to an incomplete root canal (i did not know that at this point) he proceeded to put the crowns in. i had repeated issues with the crowns coming off and pain and inflamed gums in that area and bleeding while brushing. because the crowns kept coming off they decided to put a post in each tooth to secure them. i went to a different dentist after i changed my insurance plan and immediately after x rays and while i we having pain yet again said the root canal was never done properly and i have pain because there are still nerves in there and that the crowns never should have been placed and i needed retreatment of teeth 3 and 4. I did get the retreatment root canal and have been pain-free ever since. But I now need new crowns since the old one broke during retreatment and removal and the other one was unusable. the crowns initially covered by insurance are now not because i already used their coverage. it was their dentists fault that im in this situation and i should not have to pay out of pocket for new crowns. also this appeal was supposed to be resolved within 30 days and it is now august 5th 2022 with no answer in sight and supervisors have escalated it 3 times with no response or resolution. please help i just want my teeth fixed.
