After struggling with this home health aide providing company for at least 18 months I, and my family, have found them to be more than lacking in the health aides they hire and put in the field to care for our elders. The individuals attending to one of my parents are poorly trained, inadequately informed, lack rudimentary communication skills, are poorly motivated, lack any sense of a work ethic being shiftless and lazy. We have also found them to take liberties in the patient's home that any decent person would find... unsettling and offensive. They come and think they can make decisions regarding medication regimens and personal care when they have been instructed otherwise. Dealing with this company and the individuals they send out makes this fairly liberal writer think, "This is why people like *********************** and ***************************** get elected to office and why folks are marching in the streets of ***************". And please understand that it troubles me, to a degree, to write that but I see it first hand. We are fed-up with shiftless, malcontented individuals who think we owe them something but this is who ****** hires and sends out. The front office has also been blatantly misleading regarding scheduling. I would not recommend ****** to look after a pet dog.
