I was scammed by Mindful Care.I initially reached out looking for help with Adderall addiction as the website clearly states they specialize in Addiction Recovery. I explained in my very first email with the practice (which was over 1 month ago) my situation. I even reiterated it to the person I spoke to on the phone. I was assured that there was a doctor that could help me with medical Adderall withdrawal as I have been having an extremely distressing time getting off of it. I have to work multiple jobs to care for my family and down days are not an option. This is the only reason I made this appointment.While the psychiatrist was extremely kind, it was abundantly clear that he had no idea why we were meeting. Very soon into the appointment he informed me that not only could he not help me get off the Adderall slowly with a lower dose because he is not permitted to prescribe it through Mindful Care, but there is nothing else (especially since he works through Mindful Care) that he can do for **** am outraged that this company made me spend $175 dollars for a ten-minute appointment, when they knew, from the beginning, that there was nothing that could be done for me.They should be ashamed of the way they do business!
