We have already talked to our credit union for our loan before looking at any vehicles to buy. 3/13/2025 Kings Toyota Finance Dept. said that they can get us a better interest rate through ********** Bank. Will save us a lot of money. Saturday, second day after signing the contract, I called the sales person and said I wanted out of the deal because not only having problems with the car but found out that were lied to about the loan. Charged us $500+ in loans fees. $5,000 in extended warranties plus other fees that I do not understand. We were told that we are stuck with the car. That there are no three day period to change your mind on a sign contract. On Monday 3/17/2025 they did say that they can take the $5,000 off and cancel the warranties. But still stuck with the car. I said I guess do not have a choice. I agreed to what I had to and ask for a paper to sign for proof. The Finance lady said that they will email me an agreement to sign. I never received the email. On Tuesday 3/18/25 I also called ********** Bank to make sure that at least the $5,000 was taken off the loan. The lady at ********** Bank said nothing they can or will do. That I have to go through Toyota. I ask to talk to a manager. She said can not. Five days later I received two payment coupons in the mail. Not the coupon book! Did not get a coupon book? And for the agreement from Toyota I still have not got anything in my email to sign to have the $5,000 in warranties taken off of the loan. It has been 8 days since I called on the second day saying I wanted out of the deal. I also found out that ********** Bank gives Toyota a (kickback) for every loan they send through **********. I also found out that I can get an extended warranty on the vehicle for half the cost that toyota charges plus will be good for 150,000 miles instead of the 100,000. Best to avoid all dealerships and buy from a private owner and get the warranty through a credit union. Avoid the banks too.

My son and I got a car from Kings in January 2025. we got a 2013 *** ********* we looked at the ****** and the car got good reviews and was well maintained. We paid in cash. On Super Bowl Sunday my son just got home from church and the car just stopped right off the highway. We thought it was an electrical issue so we took it to a mechanic. It took awhile to find out that we needed a new engine. He barely had the car a month and it needs a major fix. My son and I feel they took our money and ran. This is a major inconvenience to me and the family. Not to mention I question the trust and integrity of I thought a decent car company. I'm speechless and beyond words. I'M LOOKING FORWARD OF THE RESPONSE OF KINGS TOYOTA!!!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The vehicle was purchased on January 9, 2025, and this complaint, filed on February 21, 2025, was the first time we were made aware of any issues. We immediately reached out and have invited you to bring the vehicle to our dealership so we can take a look and go from there. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we are committed to addressing concerns fairly

I had high expectations when purchasing a brand-new 2025 ****** ****, especially given ******** reputation for reliability. However, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am thoroughly disappointed with both the car and the service. On day 2 of owning the vehicle, the 360-degree camera (Panoramic View Monitor) stopped working completely. This feature, which I was excited to use for added convenience and safety, suddenly became useless. I took the car to the dealership, only to be told that there are no parts available to fix the issue, and I would have to wait one to two weeks for the necessary repair. This is absolutely unacceptable for a brand-new car. What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of urgency or helpfulness from Toyota’s customer service. I was given vague responses and no real solutions. It’s extremely disappointing that after spending a significant amount of money on a brand-new vehicle, I am left with a car that’s not functioning properly, with no clear timeline for when it will be fixed. I’ve always believed in Toyota’s reliability, but after this incident, I am seriously questioning that belief. The experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I can’t help but feel let down by both the product and the service. I expected better from a company with such a strong reputation. I will definitely think twice before recommending Toyota to others or purchasing another vehicle from them in the future.

We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the required parts are on back order with Toyota, and we are awaiting their arrival, which is currently projected for the end of January. At this point, we have done everything possible at the dealership level and are relying on Toyota to supply the parts. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as we receive new information.

Kings Toyota's service is overpriced, takes too long, and they don't pay attention to their customer service lines. Apart from that, here are some specific examples of their dishonesty from the past two years. Strike One was on 4/30/22, when they lied about me needing my car's license plate lights fixed. I soon found out they were actually working fine, so I didn't bother with the repairs. Strike Two was on 7/30/23, when they broke my dimmer switch. Their so-called "solution" of fixing it required ripping my car open and replacing the instrument panel altogether (if they're lucky enough to have it still be manufactured) and holding my car for God knows how long. I said "no," and they gave me three free oil changes. I'm down to one left now. Strike Three was on 8/9/24, when they damaged my calipers and misled me about the total service cost to fix that and my rear brakes. At first it was estimated to be ~$520, but then it was raised to ~$1,600 the next day. I then requested that my car be put back together, but once I arrived at Kings Toyota they told me that the calipers were already removed and could not be put back in. To make matters worse, the car could not be reassembled until I paid the full $1,600 price. The $300 reduction after negotiations and the free loaner they let me have in the meantime is not enough to make up for this mess, as we would have had our respective cars back earlier had they not messed with the calipers. I had previously warned Kings Toyota about them, and they knew about the calipers as they had already given me an estimate during the multipoint inspection weeks prior, and the total estimate of ~$520. It was after they tore apart the car including the calipers that they gave me the tripled estimate, and they refused to correct this unless I paid their ransom. What they did was unforgivable, and I already informed the Ohio Secretary of State about all this. I am done with them forever, and I hope they go bankrupt.

Had good experience with dealership, but very disappointed in a Brand. I've purchased brand new 2024 ****** ****** on 3/23, drove it for approximately 2 weeks when I've noticed antifreeze was leaking. When purchasing the vehicle, I was told I can bring the vehicle to any ****** Dealer. So, I brought the vehicle to another dealership near me, where I was told I needed new radiator and water hose on 4/18. They provided me with a rental vehicle for the time being. Three weeks later I was called in to come replace the rental for another, which I did. Four weeks in, I have called Kings ****** and asked them to help me with this issue since I've purchased the vehicle from them and it's been a month I've waited to get my car back, but I was told that since the vehicle is at different dealership there is nothing they can do. It's been almost 2 months now, my vehicle is still sitting at the dealership, and they still don't have an estimated date when it'll be fixed. I opened the case with Corporate and can't get anyone to give me a call back, because the latest update they provided is Early July (where Early July is not an actual date), so I assume that nobody knows when the part will be here. To emphasize the frustration six days ago the *** was Early June. I've been calling their customer service for 2,5 weeks and all they say that someone will be in contact with me, but no one ever calls me back. I have purchased the truck for a reason, and now I am paying the bill while stuck with different rentals and all restrictions that come with it. I am completely caged in, and can't go anywhere, or even take my dog to a vet in addition to all the other things I needed the truck for. Seems like I've made a wrong choice going with ******, because I believed that ****** WAS the most reliable and they cared about they customers. Well, they don't! Very disappointed with a purchase and treatment I am receiving. Seems like as soon as they get your money, you are on your own!

Ray was trying to help me with this situation Friday morning, which Im grateful for. So far I havent heard from anyone else. I called customer service Friday evening and Rep sent an inquiry to the case manager, he replied to her with the same ETA of Early July. When I asked to speak with him he sent her a message that he is busy and doesnt have the time to talk to me. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said she will request a call back, Ive heard the same thing a week ago and never got a call. Unfortunately, I am still in limbo, waiting for a resolution.

Read your papers before signing! They will scam you with almost $3000. Called out the finance manager on it and he assaulted me and my 4 year old son, had to call 911 and get a police escort to leave safely. He held my keys and papers, screamed at me and hit the table to intimidate me. I pushed him to get out of his office and call the police for help. Deputies waited with me until I left safely.

Our family has done business with Kinds Toyota for years. Even though the service department is polite it's highly questionable procedures have us disappointed. First, I had our van in for a tune up and service check b4 a road trip. Never mentioned to us breaks needed attention. It was described in paperwork but never personally. We are not mind readers. Second, recently came in with engine trouble. Checked alternator & battery. Both were good. They did a $ 220 test. All it was corrosion on battery connection!! U mean u didn't see that while looking first b4 a test that u pocketed for the company. Very disengous.

Kings Toyota feedback We had a repair for our van that was quoted free of charge by multiple places. We called Kings Toyota to get the same quote and they asked we bring the vehicle in. We were told we would be charged for the quotes upon arriving. Once the quote was completed, we learned that EACH separate service would be a $145 quote charge to essentially shine flashlights around and take notes. We opted to get one of the repairs done which was $400 plus quote charges to replace a simple switch. The other fix was quoted at 52% more than my mechanic. Because I didn’t want to pay that exorbitant amount, we opted to pay the $145 extortion charge to essentially get our van back. We bought 2 vehicles from Kings Toyota and I made a commitment to the employee at the service desk to NEVER buy a vehicle from King’s in the future and to make sure that others know to do the same. Everyone was extremely polite but offered as much empathy as trying to discuss a medical bill with your insurance company. I have a list of companies I will never do business with and Kings Toyota made the list.

I apoligize for the issues you have had with our service department. Kings Toyota does take pride in sending the required time by Toyota trained techs to properly diagnose issues with Toyota's. The diagnosis charges are applied to any repair needed that is fixed at our shop. The only time the diagnosis fee is not credited back to the consumer is if you do not repair the vehicle here.
