      I signed up for the FREE TRIAL with American Greetings. That free trial REQUIRED a card on file to bill after the trial expired. I was NOT sent an email letting me know that my trial was expiring. They then billed my card for a MONTHLY subscription. I have emailed them multiple times about canceling my membership; to which they have never responded. There is no way to cancel the membership online. This is predatory practice to take someone's money and not give them a way to cancel, nor let them know that their "free trial" is expiring.

      Hi-- I ordered a greeting card in 2017 from Blue Mountain and (one card!) and have been charged 90 dollars in fees since then. I was never received a notice from the company about the renewal until this week. I promptly cancelled. This violates autorenewal notification laws. I would like a refund. This is the company: ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************  Which they say is owned by American Greetings Company. I spoke with Mariah and Annalyse at their Cleveland Ohio facility, who stated that "the system does not allow them to provide refunds other than the most recent charge."

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      The company in question, if they set up an autorenewal process, is required to alert the customer when the autorenewal will take place. That did not happen until the most recent, when I promptly cancelled. They are obligated to provide a refund because they did not provide required notice.

      I took a 7 day trial subscription with $6.99/ month to be charged after the trial period. I started 12/26 ro call to cancel service since I could not access my account on the website. Attempts to reset my password failed. All attempts to contact someone by phone failed. I want my trial cancelled and my S6.99 refunded. This has been a freak show . American Greeting Cards...all respect for you is exhausted as am I.

      Dear Madam/Sir: On December 23, 2022, I signed up for a free 7-day trial subscription to AmericanGreetings.com. On December 27, 2022, I sent the following email to [email protected]: Customer Number: *********** Tuesday, December 27, 2022 - 10:41pm Eastern Time Hello. I need help with two things: I need to cancel my American Greetings 7-day free trial membership right away before it expires on December 30, 2022. American Greetings has charged $7.41 to my Visa card even though my 7-day free trial membership has not ended. Please process a refund. Thank you. ******* ***** ***********@gmail.com (202) 615-4972 When I did not hear from AmericanGreetings.com, I submitted a second request via the company's website email dialog box on Thursday, December 29, 2022. When I still did not hear from AmericanGreetings.com, I telephoned the company four times on Friday, December 30, 2022, between 1:00pm and 2:05pm eastern time at 800-711-4474. Each time I called I was directed by a computerized voice to select a "cancel membership" option. I was then, each of the four times, transferred to a computerized voice stating, "Due to unforeseen circumstances we are currently closed. Please call again during our business hours which are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm eastern time." AmericanGreetings.com has provided no other means of cancellation of the 7-day trial membership. I am requesting that the Better Business Bureau help me to: 1) cancel my 7-day trial membership if it is still in effect; 2) cancel any other type of membership that AmericanGreetings.com may have opened in my name; 3) obtain a full refund for the $7.41 charged to my debit card during the ostensibly free 7-day trial membership; 4) obtain a full refund for any additional fees charged to my debit card by AmericanGreetings.com.       I was scammed as I did a 7 Free Trail for ecard service with this company. I sent an ecard the very same day & it never reached my daughter, the recipient. I immediately requested a cancellation, However, the company refused to refund me even though I was within the trail period. They stole money out of my ****** account & are trying to force me to accept their service until the next billing period. I have a problem with large corps taking advantage of people & not abiding by the rules in their own offers. This is theft. It is much easier to steal $1 from a million people than a million from one. NEEDS TO STOP!!!

      Trying to cancel the free trial membership. It says to click the button below ..there is no button. Says to email. I've emailed multiple times, no response. I've tried calling....no one ever picks up. I'm seeing that this is a big issue with others as well. My credit card was already charged the $6.95. I do not want the membership. I want a refund and want it cancelled.

      I signed up for a free trial and tried to cancel but could not access my account, I reached out to their customer service line and received a message that they’re closed due to unforeseen circumstances. I emailed and I even went to ******* and reached out to no avail. You have to choose a subscription option and I chose monthly for $6.99 with the intent to cancel but just saw where I was charged $32.46! What’s bad is this company is offering a product at a price but there is no access to anyone for assistance!

      Blue Mountain Cards fraudulently charged my credit card, claiming that I had subscribed to its service. I had tried for several months to cancel my membership, and finally succeeded. I received email from Blue Mountain confirming cancellation on July 17, 2022; yet yesterday, I received email claiming I had updated my account and charging $6.99 to my VISA ending in ****. I did not subscribe. I want Blue Mountain to reverse the charge and to never charge my credit card again. I will be sure to never even purchase a one-time greeting to avoid any chance that Blue Mountain will try to resubscribe me.
