      I don’t personally rent from them but they own 8 out of the 12 homes in my cul-de-sac. They are ALL falling apart. Gutters falling off the houses, writing or graffiti on the brick, grass over a foot tall, deteriorating roofs and chimneys. You name it! This is in Westerville which is a very nice area and this company is decreasing the value of the surrounding homes. We spoke to a neighbor who is a Vinebrook tenant & they say they have maintenance requests that haven’t been reviewed for months!

      this company is a slumlord. there’s so many families getting screwed over by them. currently pursuing legal action to get every cent back. we haven’t even moved in! got keys and half rhe fragrance plug ins they used to disguise the smoke smell is gone… my children and i all had asthma attacks within hours. this company needs to rot, just like their houses are!!

      Me and my children are about to be homeless. I hit a rough patch. Vinebrook filed evictions on me. I paid in full and am still here. They decided to not renew my lease. So I can't rent from them, because of the filed evictions, no one will rent to me, and I can't stay. I never thought I'd be homeless. I work every day. Please read the lease. Don't let them get you.

      I am a current resident of vinebrook homes and I find that it is hard to get in touch with anyone there. Then when you get someone they talk down to you like you are dumb. For instance I have received a bill from the water company in the amount of 159.59 then I get a bill from there third party billing and it states 135.90. That is a 34.05 difference. So I place a call to only be told that there is a past due sewage charge of 647.05 that I have to pay. Excuse me, when I have paid each and every time the water bill is due. I was told that this happened all the time and there is nothing that can be done about this and no there is no one above that you can talk to to get this figured out. What in the hell is vinebrook doing. That is not my fault that there is a pass due sewage I paid all of my bills. They talk down to you and nothing is their fault. I am tired of this rental agency thinking that they can get away with this. I will be contacting a lawyer. I will not be paying that past due sewage. I paid my bills.

      I applied for a rental last night around 8pm and paid the application fee of 80$ since there were 2 applicants. It states this takes up to 2 days to be processed. This morning i checked to see any updates on the application around 10am and it said denied. I have called many times to figure out why i was denied since nothing was on my credit reports saying any credit records were even pulled by any kind of rental company. When i call they give me a number and it goes to the same automated system or the customer service email that no one responds to. I was also told no co-signers were allowed and if it was bad credit they would just ask for a higher deposit, which would’ve been no issue if i was given the chance since that was the only reason i went ahead and applied. Seems like they just stole my money that couldve paid for another application to a company that actually wanted my business.

      This is one of the worst rental companies I have ever rented from been over a week and still no heat needs a new furnace they said today there's no timeline and it's 15° outside been dealing with this off and on all winter

      My mother passed I contacted them and let them know my mother passed away and I was going to be late paying my rent because I was dealing with the loss of my mother but I would be making a payment asap and mind you that was the only payment I owed they told me sorry for your loss and sent me a notice to leave they really don't give a s*** about you as a tenant

      they really just dont give a **** about the people who rent patch jobs rotten floors only fix things that are considered "emergency" my galvanized pipes in my house that can lead to sickness are not "emergency"

      They are horrible I’ve made reports about the mold in my home & the increase in my rent along with assistance with rent all with no resolution. And today I was told they were filing for eviction.

      Jessica Tillman is the absolute best. She is so relatable, respectful, none judgmental landlord I could ask for. I could go on and on, just know she really cares about the person living in the property and has so much sympathy and empathy for kids.
