This is the worst service ever. It doesn't matter if you sell a watch and it is authenticated, the customer breaks it, and is returned to to authentication, with no acknowledgment of broken watch. Now I have a watch in different condition than I sent it, and I never accepted returns in the first place. This defeats the entire contract of final sale after authentication. THE BUSINESS PRACTICES THIS COMPANY USES ARE PATHETIC.

We would like to clarify that our role in the authentication process is governed by eBay’s policies and procedures. As part of our contractual agreement, Stoll & Company is obligated to adhere to the guidelines set forth by eBay, including their return policies. Once a watch is returned to us in a different condition than at the time of initial authentication, we promptly notify eBay and follow their instructions on how to proceed, including the final destination of the item.

This business is the Authenticator for eBay. They authenticated a watch that was 2 years older than the eBay listing. Now I’m stuck with a watch I don’t want and not what I paid for. The business told me “not our problem.” - it is your problem.R. S. Stoll & Company Inc. Response

While we certainly can empathize with your situation, we want to clarify that our authentication services for eBay transactions covers a broad set of specific parameters, solely dictated by our client. Unfortunately, production dates are not an element of the listing we are contracted to authenticate or reconcile, and as such are not guaranteed for accuracy. For future purchases where this data point is valuable, we suggest confirming with the seller directly on the eBay platform, especially where final sale transactions are a factor... Paid 1800.00 in repairs for a watch I was going to sell. As soon as I got the watch back, had to send it back to them because the push pin fell out. The second time it went back they lost my original box which was 30 years old and in pristine condition. Now the person that was going to buy it from me won't buy it without the box. Every time I called them about the box they said they would look for it and call me back. They never once called back.
