              I BOUGHT THE RIDGID DRY VAC Of ABOUT 10 GALLONS avout 5 years ago AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THEY GAVE ME OVER THE PHONE TO PUT THE CLAIM WITH PICS AND ABOUT A EEEK AND A HALF LATER THAT THE VACUUM HAS NOT BEEN REPLACE, I SEE AN E-MAIL FROM THEM ASKING IF I DID THE TRUBLE SHOOTIN , WHEN I TOLD THEM OVER THE PHONE THE FIRST TIME I CALLED. NOW I CALLED TODAY AND THEY SAY ONE OF THE PICS IS NOT WHAT THEY WANT IT, BUT THE EXAMPLE PIC, LOOK LIKE WHAT I SEND, WHICH WAS THE PIC OF THE MOTOR FROM THE OUTSIDE. I THINK THEY ARE LOOKING FOR AN SCAPE ROUTE NOT TO REPLACE IT, SINCE MOST OF THE COMPANIES OFFER LIFETIME WARRANTY TO MAKE SALES AND THEN LOOK FOR SOMETHING WRONG, NOT TO REPLACE IT. JUST LIERS LIKE LAWYERS AND GOOD SCAMMERS. THEY GET ME ONCE, BUT I WILL FIGHT BACK THROUGH THE MEDIA, LIKE FB, GOOGLE REVIEW, BBB REVIEW AND COMPLAINT AND WE WILL SEE WHO LOSE THE MOST. IF I DO NOT GET A REPLACEMENT, I WILL NEVER BUY THAT BRAND AGAIN AND WILL TELL MY FRIENDS AND THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL. ******* *** *********

              Always loved Ridgid tools but I will never purchase again. Their customer support is non existent. Recently purchased a $199 PowerClear drain cleaning machine. When trying to register it for the lifetime warranty, no matter what I entered for the Model number it was rejected. Attempted calling but was put into an endless loop. Contacting by email twice just got me 2 AI auto responses telling me to visit the website or call for more information. The product box only had a Catalog # on it, ****** search listed that same catalog # as the model number, on the bottom of the product the model # is shown as being the product name. Neither of those entered in anyway were recognized as the model number, I tried the serial number and every other number I could find on the product and box, nothing worked. Ridgid has the box marked as cannot be returned if opened or used so when I attempted to return the product the day after buying, because I could not get it registered, **** ***** attempted to not allow the return. Luckily I spend thousands of dollars per year on my ** ****** **** and the manager didn't want to lose my business permanently. I will never buy Ridgid again after this experience.
