As a member of the military, I believe in duty, integrity, and transparency. It is with a heavy heart that I share my experience with American Construction Group/American Pools and Fountains located in Hudson, OH which I hired for the construction of an in-ground pool. I strongly advocate for a comprehensive research in public records before engaging with American Construction Group/American Pools and Fountains. My recent experience emphasizes the critical importance of conducting thorough research concerning the owner **** ************** ****** *** (owner) and the office manager ***** ***** (*******). Transparency is paramount, and delving into public records can uncover essential insights. Considering my own encounters, which has included missed deadlines and subpar service, reinforces the necessity for comprehensive research. To make informed choices, I implore you to scrutinize public records such as the Summit and Portage County Clerk of Courts as well as as well as other surrounding Counties before proceeding with American Construction Group/American Pools and Fountains. I urge you to contact the Better Business Bureau as well. My dealings with **** ******/******* ****** *** and the Office Manager ***** ***** (*******) have been marked by a disturbing lack of discipline and professionalism. Their inability to provide services has been disappointing despite large amounts of money being paid to them. In considering pool services, it is my earnest recommendation to exercise extreme caution and refrain from any involvement in this company. I STRONGLY advise seeking alternative options to avoid the distress and dissatisfaction my family and I have endured.

Our project has been ongoing for 3 summers now. We signed our contract October 15, 2020. This is the most unorganized and incompetent company. The project started off with the Company (American Pools and Fountains, AKA, American Construction Group) not filing the city permit and not being registered in the county. They did not adhere to the set back requirements and the city shut us down for over 2 months. Since then there has been disaster after disaster. -Pool leaking for over 2 summers. -They did not properly winterize the pool so the pipes burst. -They caused a gas leak in our house! AND then they charged us labor to come out and fix the leak! -A Bromic outdoor heater fell from the ceiling and almost crushed our heads as we were sitting under it while it WAS ON at over 200 degrees!! 1) it was not hung properly. It was put in the drywall and not into the studs. And 2) the incompetent owner did not know that extreme heat melts plastic (Azek material). The whole structure could've gone up in flames .- The reclaimed wood beam going across our ceiling was not mounted correctly and it fell down which could've killed someone - they didn't install the new siding properly so we've had water leaks in our primary bedroom. This is just some of the few grievances we have with this company. Weeks, months, and years go by and you have to FIGHT them to do any work. Of course the arrogant owner does not take any responsibility. He manipulates and makes you feel bad for complaining. One of his employees admitted they have no money to finish our job. They are running a pyramid scheme and have to sell more jobs to finish other ones. I could go on and on!! Our attorney is engaged and ready to fight for us. I have a lot of documentation, photos, and video proof. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
