  If I could leave MINUS stars I would. This is the most UNETHICALbank there is!!! They make up reasons to lower your credit which hurts your credit score. I have had 4 accounts that they have done this too with ZERO late payments on ANY card. My payment record on my credit is 100% on time. When you call and try to talk to someone about it, they do NOTHING!!! I have brought up my credit report to show that the ONLY thing hurting my credit is THEM lowering credit lines for NO REASON!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED BANK!!!!!!!!!!! If Paypal and Ashley Furniture and other companies that used them were smart, they would find a honest lender to handle their accounts!!!! I am looking into ways to file a formal complaint against this crooked buisness!!!!!!

  I tried to do a legit from my account to my external account they stopped the account just because i tried to do a large transfer, they frozed my account just because over a legit transfer

  Applied for a Lowes credit card with a 840 credit score, sent them a selfie, copies of my drivers license and social, and they would not approve me. They would not tell me why?

  These people should be a shamed of how they are been with them for over 3 years never missed a payment started out with a nice credit amount made 1 purchase and then they dropped my credit amount paid the full amount when due so then I get and email saying they are closing my account. Not understanding why offer if your just going to take ut back or just drop someone best believe I will never ever apply again with this company or anyone that has dealing with them

  Do NOT get a card through this bank! They will screw you over with your credit score. If you don't keep your card maxed out they WILL lower your available balance to a couple of dollars of what the current balance is. Their excuse due to average usage! I had a limit of 1500 for Amazon and charged around 150-200 per month on it, paid off balance each month and they REDUCED my available credit to $200 due to that was the average that I charged on the card each month! They will close an account due to reasons in TransUnion and inactivity of a couple freaking MONTHS!! The ONLY thing that happened on my TransUnion report is the amount of credit went usage went up due to buying a vehicle. They freaking closed the account due to that on transunion and not charging anything on their card for few months! Stay away from ANY of this banks credit cards! They will SCREW YOU OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Paid off my card in full. Will never step in a Walmart or Sam's again after trusting them to secure a card with them through Synchrony Bank. Feels good to be done with Synchrony Bank. I think you should do the same.

  I have had 4 accounts that I paid on time and never late get closed for no reason at all. Worst customer service I have ever seen.

  This bank is a scam. I made a payment on line, i verified that the payment was received and they confirmed it was, then without notice a month later when I went to check if I had a payment to make, I saw that my last payment was rejected (even though they CONFIRMED THE PAYMENT) and without ever advising me otherwise, they tacked on a late payment and interest. When I called and spoke with an out of country representative, she confirmed that payment was made and as we were on the phone she concurrently emailed me FIRST NOTICE that the payment was rejected and too bad, too sad, there was nothing for me to do but pay it. My credit history is pristine, I always paid in full, it was THEIR ERROR and I had to pay the price. I cancelled the credit card and will never do business with them and any affiliates, and will tell everyone I can about their poor business acumen.

  I was approved for a credit card with interest free if paid over so many months. I have paid six payments all on time. All the sudden I’m notified they decreased my credit limit which shows I’m now utilizing 97% of my credit card. When I called to ask why, they said they pulled my credit report and reviewed it. Due to high usage on my credit they decreased the available credit. This is the only card I have using 97% now. The rest of my credit is approximately 20% total. What kind of sense is this?
