      MACYS 2024 CUSTOMER MATTRESS EXPERIENCE [DEFECTIVE] TOP MATTRESS RTN PICK UP DATE: Saturday, AUG 10, 2024 PICK UP TIMEFRAME @ 630P-830P TOP MATTRESS PICKED UP @ 450P No telephone call to say they were arriving early; just showed up. Customer had to provide new hospital-grade N95 masks to both young delivery males. NO MASKS as requested; they did have protective shoe booties. After quickly accessing this high risk situation, we only allowed one delivery person to come up our private stairway as the customer pushed the mattress out the front door entryway. We were not about to allow them access to our high respiratory health-risk house since they had not arrived with masks. BOXSPRING RTN PICK UP DATE: Saturday, AUG 31, 2024 PICK UP TIMEFRAME @1015A-1215A BOXSPRING PICKED UP @ 1040A We had to take it downstairs to avoid them coming in our home. We would not allow them in the house entryway nor access to our high respiratory health-risk house since they had not arrived with masks and booties. NO MASKS or protective shoe booties as requested.

      bought a leather sofa recliner $3600 had to wait 5 months for delivery patiently, to find out t went on sale for $2140. Called Macys for a price adjustment which they refused to give nor would they take a return on the sofa. This is what they call customer satisfaction, totally dissatisfied with their policies....

      I purchased some perfume from Macy's online on the 07/27/24 over $300.They did a redelivery of the item because the first delivery was never received.I was laying in my couch when I had an email about the redelivery, I opened my front door and realized the item wasn't there. I checked the email details and realized that, the photo of the front door was a different house's. I reached out to Macy's and they told me they were gonna deliver another item, which I even suggested that, I don't mind picking it up from a nearby Macy's store in order to prevent these occurrences, but they insisted the only way I can get the item was through shipment or they can refund my money back to me and I never heard from them for about two weeks.I reached out to Macy's about this pressing concern again and ***** sent me an email saying "they regret to inform me that my request for another shipment or refund of the missing items wasn't approved."I reached out to Macy's again and requested to speak to a supervisor, only to tell me they can't do anything about this issue, and a reshipment or a refund can not be made even after taking an proof photo of my front door and humbly requested they compare my front door photo to the photo of that different house's front door that the delivery agent posted in the email. So now I lost my over $300, which I am very disappointed in this company and would never want to shop there again to avoid this occurrences in the future, nor recommend anybody to shop there because I wasn't treated as a customer and with respect.Worse store I have ever shopped.

      I purchased a top from Macys, and they charged me $0.70 as a donation. I got angry and called the manager who gave it back to me. It was not a high amount but on principle these things should not be done. They pass themselves off as a do-gooder company, but in reality, they take a few cents from many millions of customers which add up to millions of dollars and deduct from their taxes. It is a great promotional cunning to the detriment of consumers.

      Lied and is cheating me of my own money $12000. I overpaid they keep telling me it will be returned in 5-7 business days. Interesting enough my wife is a top customer. Ive complained every week for 6 weeks yet they just lie. Dont buy from them Cheaters.

      Macy Credit charges a minimum interest rate. I paid my card down to zero on 8/16/24, on 8/30/24 Macy charged a $6.16 interest fee. The Account was paid in full before the billing statement of 8/30/24 was due. On 8/31/24 I called the customer service line and they said they would do a one time courtesy of removing the interest fee because the account was paid in full. Why did I have to call? Who in their right mind would pay this fraudulent charge? Then on 9/10/24 I recieved a billing statement from Macy stating I owed $6.16 interest fee. I called the customer service line again and was told several stories about how the balance is zero, because the statement does not close until 9/29/24. We already know this is a lie because I paid the balance in full before the close date of 8/30/24. They said the courtesy charge takes longer than 10 days to post the credit. Blah Blah. Macy is a big fat liar and they are stealing interest fees from everyone that pays in full before the closing date. My Macy account is now closed and I would love for the BBB to fine them for fraudulant charges!

      Macys uses horrible delivery companies and they do not back up their customers. I had a sleep sofa delivered by Macys “white glove” delivery. They charged $300.00 for the privilege of having my sleep sofa dropped on the frame of my sliding glass door as they were attempting to enter my house. Now I am stuck slamming the door shut to get it to close and wrestle with the door to open it. I fear the day that the glass finally shatters. Both the delivery company, *** and Macys have not done anything to rectify the problem. It’s been 7 months. A new door will cost me $3200.00. Additionally, the mattress had a manufacturers defect. Macys took 7 months and months of phone calls to replace it. Never again.

      I ordered a puzzle as a birthday gift and not only was it delayed when I got the packs they sent a completely different puzzle. I reached out to customer service and they made a return I was very clear with what happened. Customer service made a return on the wrong item and I am now responsible according to macys to drive to *** and return both items. They also reviewed my case and told me that they will not refund me for my puzzle that I didnt get!!! This is insane, they make a mistake twice and I am held responsible for this?!!! So now I lost my money and time and Macys lost a customer.

      Purchased a high end extra firm mattress from Macys at ************************************* In less than two years its already sagging. I called and requested an inspection only for them to disregard the level of sagging thats abnormal within a 2 year timeframe. They totally disregard their warranty and stated that their ruler inspection didnt justify a warranty claim. If only I weighed the same as a ruler would agree. Buyer beware their Beautyrest mattresses are horrible dont waste your money their mattresses are defective.

      I ordered a size 24W. The package arrived and the jumpsuit I received was a size 26W. Is all I wanted to do was to exchange the wrong size jumpsuit that I received for the correct size that I originally ordered. I was told that it was not possible because it was a Last Act item. I understand that it is a Last Act item, but its Macys responsibility to send me what I ordered and that did not happen. I cannot be held responsible for the person at the Macys warehouse that pulled the wrong item and sent it to me. According to your customer service people, not only can the item not be returned, but they wont even exchange the jumpsuit for the correct size even though it was clearly an error on Macys part. I am not only out the money that I spent, I now have a jumpsuit that is totally useless to me and every time I look at it I get very angry all over again. This is very poor customer service. Why do I have to be the person to take responsibility for Macys mistake? This is wrong. I have been a long time Macys customer and I never thought that I would be treated like this. Macys needs to take responsibility for their mistake and at minimum replace the item I received with the item that I ordered. If Macys refuses to make this right knowing that it is their mistake, Ill take my business back to ******** and make my family and friends aware of what happened with my order. I will miss shopping at Macys, but I will not shop with a company that does not take responsibility for their own mistakes. I will give them no stars at this time.
