    The owner is a thief and liar. I purchased a used car from him which he included the warranty on it. I had the car three weeks and it needed a new battery and cable, at which time I asked them to check the transmission. They fixed the battery issue but claimed they didn’t have time to check the transmission at that time. They had the car a full business day plus, so I don’t believe they didn’t have time. The fact of the matter is, by stalling he took me over the 30 days in which I could have returned the car and put me in a position to be stuck with a loan and a lemon. The car did need a transmission. The warranty company paid him for a remand transmission and he in turn is attempting to charge me for a brand new transmission. He even told a family member that he put in a new transmission in it. I got the car back on the 22nd of Dec. and it’s still not driving correctly. Also, I told them not to do the repairs until I got an exact amount as to what I can expect, they never gave me a clear amount and they did the work anyway. Then after the fact, they said they had to do an alignment on it and that was another $100 that they will charge the warranty company. I have all correspondences with warranty company, finance company and owner/staff of Harp’s Auto documented. I am upset with the fact that the owner conceded that he knew something was wrong with it and that’s why he included the warranty and that I could have avoided this whole mess and returned the car and gotten out of the loan had it been dealt with within the 30 days. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone and I regret having any dealings with Marshall **** and Harp’s Auto.
