For what its worth. My feedback to ***************** over Mathis bros.:I don't like to be pushed. They somehow knew how to listen and respond appropriately- nothing I have ever experienced at Mathis Bros. The other thing I loved about ***************** is seeing how well the employees got along and supported one another. Every time I went to Mathis Brothers I was told who could sell what in which room. It was commission centered and a complete annoyance to me. The sales associates competed (instead of supporting) each other and put me square in the middle of it. What I wanted didn't matter. I had to buy certain items from certain sales associates. The sales structure at Mathis Bro. is set up such that it puts the customer in the middle of c*** they shouldn't ever have to worry about and pits working folks against one another. And I've learned that the boys sit in the back and watch the floor increasing their pressure to scour the next buy. Forget long-term customer relationships.Gross. They are completely clueless on the fact that many women like me want to be heard and supported. We've been through enough and don't want to have to put up with that kind of sales s*** on top of it. I want to create a house that is warm and welcoming and makes me feel good now that I've been through life and know what that means to me. That means these purchases can be emotional and transformative. Mathis Bros. Is missing this ***** Wake up old white men. Other people have spending money too. And we are spending it on our HOME. So many emotional needs behind that. Keep up the good work *****************. I would venture a guess that you've barely reached your market of women like me. I was a sales manager in banking for years. I can tell where a well-run sales team exists. Kudos.Mathis Brothers Furniture

We apologize that you didn't have a great experience with us. However, it seems you have received some incorrect information. Our sales associates can sell throughout the store. The only exception is in our mattress department, where we have bedding specialists to help you. Even then, they will work with your sales rep to ensure you are getting what you need.We agree that all customers want to be heard and understood. You're the customer and we want to get you what you want! We do a good job of this and that's what kept ** the top furniture store in *** for over 60 years! With regard to our sales teams, we do help each other and work well together. There may be issues at times, we aren't perfect. But overall, we support each other and work well togther.Again, we apologize if you had an experience where you didn't feel excitied shopping with us and we want to correct that. Mathis Brothers gave us bed bugs we have been fighting them for over 3 years and they refuse to help. I have never had bed bug until I bought a bed from them 3 years ago what coincidences huh! I made a claim and the woman that was saposed to help me treats me like she's a lawyer and I'm on trial. I spent **** grand on that bed it's the only brand new price of furniture I have ever bought and it infested my home with bed bug spider might dust mights. My husband reminded me how sketch the warehouse looked were we pick up the frame Anyway the ware houses have bed bugs and they need to be looked at asap! I have ptsd from fighting these vampire for ove r3 years with a baby. I'm stressed to the *** and want to *** this businessMathis Brothers Furniture

We hate to hear that you have bed bugs, but they didn't come from **. Every mattress comes factory sealed. With regards to our warehouse, you won't find a cleaner warehouse! If there were any sort of bed bugs in our warehouse, we would have received numerous complaints, which we did not.Review fromCathy Z

Purched a ******* Rocker recliner on 10/19/22, we also perched extended 5 year warranty for $59.99. On 6/27/ we call Mathis that our recliner was tilling to one side and making noises every time we reclined. When we called Mathis we where told that we had to report any issues with in 30 days?We where given a Claim #****** Why would they sell us a 5 year warranty and not cover an issue with in the first yeMathis Brothers Furniture

We hate to hear there is an issue with your recliner. If it is tilting, and you are still within your first year, that would fall under the manufacturer warranty, not the protection plan. I ordered furniture in March of this year. I received the majority at the time they said. However I have a table I have been waiting on. It’s almost June and I still don’t have this table that goes with my other pieces of furniture. No one is communicating with me regarding the table. I keep calling and every time I do they give me a different date. If I had known it would take this long to get the table I would have chosen completely different furniture. We apologize for the delay. The dates we give to our customers are the dates we are given from the manufacturer. There are times when they have production delays which pushes the date out. After spending more that $20,000.00 on furniture to decorate my new home I custom ordered a bench on 09072022 to match the bed. A bench arrived at my home 02132023 with the wrong material. I called Mathis Brothers for 2 and a half weeks straight trying to get a resolution to this wrong bench. I was made to feel as though I had no recourse but to accept the bench with wrong material. There are no checks and balances on the part of Mathis. They just deliver and the customer has to go thru this horrible ordeal to get them to correct their problem. On 02282023 a manager finally reordered the bench. It arrived on 05072023 nine months after the initial order. I will never go back to Mathis.

We apologize that the bench that was ordered arrived in the wrong material. There are rare times when the manufacturer installs the wrong material. We do have good checks and balances, but when it comes wrong from the factory, we don't know until we deliver the item. Ok second purchase we have made at Mathis Brothers. Purchase a Sunnydaze Powder-Coated Steel Hexagon Raised Garden Bed - 41 in from Mathis web site and the order was fulfilled by Sunnydaze . Opened the box started assembly and guess what OHHHH missing 1 piece a corner . Called Mathis and was told the guy that takes care of this is gone for the day will get back with me tomorrow ( today is 5/10/2023) . I am not sure if it is just me that gets bad stuff or it is just Mathis Brothers . But 2 for 2??? Come on Mathis this how you really work?Mathis Brothers Furniture

1 starOn 5/22/2022, I ordered two chairs, a loveseat ,a couch, a dining room tabletop and base, 8 chairs and a cabinet along with a furniture protection plan from Mathis Home in *****. On 5/27/2022 the two chairs and loveseat were delivered. The loveseat was damaged. Mathis Home agreed to take the loveseat back and bring a new one when they delivered the sofa. These items were delivered on June 28. No estimated delivery date on the other pieces. In September I contacted the salesperson and she decided to contact OKC for advice as 4 months had passed. Mathis Home delivered the items on September 27. The table top had hinges hanging so that the leaf can not be locked. There were various scratches and dents in the table top. The cabinet handles were worn. The cabinet hinges were pulled off. The set was used or demo. They agreed to redeliver. The best part is that when they get the furniture in your home that is when you pay for the furniture. So I have used furniture that I paid new prices for even though they agreed its bad and they need to replace it. I had reward points so I ordered two more chairs. They sent a new set and my chairs on December 27,2022. The delivery crew was high af. That set was also damaged. The cabinet was caved in on the side. The delivery guys banged the cabinet into the existing table and scratched it. The chairs wobbled. Mathis Home agreed that they would replace the items. The delivery truck swept out nails and screws in my driveway and tracked mud all through my house. They delivered again on March 20, 2023. Damaged again. We just refused the delivery. Again they delivered on April 10, 2023. We refused the delivery. We have a new delivery scheduled for May 8, but the table top has to be brought from ********** or *******. For 6 deliveries, my husband and I have taken off work 6 days. They have offered to give us 15% off if we accept the furniture as is which is insulting .Review fromAndrew K

1 starExtremely disappointed. My purchase arrived broken, not as shown on the floor in the store. They did agree to come replace the broken portion, which happened, but after the first night, we realized that there was no way this would work for us. Company "required" us to sleep on the horrible product for 30 days with a verbal statement of how the manager would want us to be happy and would work with us if the product didn't work. We continued to dislike the product for 30 days and called. We were told that we would be contacted within ***** hrs. This did not happen. I can't help but believe that this is the whole game...sell bad products, then avoid contact with the customer when they complain and hope they go away.By the way, this is also on the Mathis Brothers main store/main company since that is where the manager apparently works.I do not ever plan to shop here again. Mathis brothers has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD !!! I have never met such RUDE And UNPROFESSIONAL people no one greeted upon entering, the store I brought a bedroom set on April 1- 2023 pick up the bed April 2- 2023 whenever I brought the bed home it didn’t have all the pieces I had to go up to the store 3 times and each, and every time they would forget more pieces. I didn’t come with instructions to put the bed together. It was the worst experience shopping for furniture! I
