      I was sent a text message that a loan was taken out in my name for the amount of $1300. I called them and spoke with a ***** who advised me that someone has used my credit/SS to take out a personal loan. NOT ME! It seems my identity has been stolen, so I was advised to fill out an identity theft report via the **** Which I sent this 3rd rate loan company. I havent heard anything from them on any sort of update.

      This company keeps calling saying I have some sort of loan through them and I do not! Have never heard of them! Told them to send me proof and was told they have sent stuff to my address, which is a complete lie! I have never received anything from them! This harassment need to stop immediately! Seems they have did alot of people this way and have very shady business practices *** dealings!

      This company has leaked my personal information to bogus debt collectors calling me and threatening me and violating FDCPA for a fake unpaid debt from supposed YEARS ago that I DID NOT incur. Once every three or so months its a new fake "company" with no website address, no mailing address, no trace of contact other than a phone number that works for a couple of weeks then is conveniently disconnected. Additionally, during these rotations of it transferring from different "agencies" every few months, my family members are also contacted, and threatened on my behalf as well. American Web Loan NEEDS to answer for this. They are an illegitimate institution who have somehow ******* received my personal information and then lazily let it leak out to these criminals. The most recent occurrence happened 30 minutes ago. An agency saying they are representing AWL with the number ************ I will send this EXACT message every single time this happens for ETERNITY if I have to. This company cannot get away with this anymore.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      AWL is lying. Attached is PROOF they are lying. They have acknowledged before that NERS, the attached creditor, IS indeed a verified agency that they outsource unpaid debt to. I paid this company three years ago a hundred dollars to make the threatening calls stop. They had been happening for three years prior, and have been happening for three years since. Unless AWL erases records permanently, which no company does in the history of existence of business, or they are lying about NERS being an affiliate of theirs, they have some sort of record of mine on file from somewhere....and said information has been leaked to bogus collectors due to their incompetence, and they need to pay for this. Quit playing with me. Quit lying to me. I am not going away.

      More phone calls today from this number attached, threatening me again, violating FDCPA, claiming to be collecting on behalf of american web loan. I will be going to my local news and filing whatever lawsuits necessary if I do not hear back from you before the end of this week. What this company is doing is 100% unethical and 100% ILLEGAL.

      Loan payments were misleading was inform that only 9 payments 2 per month I made 10 payments and when I called to see why I was still being charged I was informed that my loan was for 9 month with bimonthly payments of ****** for a ******* loan with a final payout of over ******* I believed I was mislead and scammed.

      I received a loan from AWL back in May 2023 and have now made 15 payments in the amount of $140.91 with the total amount paid of $2,113.65. I have paid more than $600 on top of the principal loan amount . I am now in financial hardship and AWL refuses to work with me or cancel my loan. The interest rate is illegal in the *******************. I would like my account closed and for them to stop debiting my account. My loan number is *******.

      A couple years back I received a call from them saying that I owe money on a loan from American Web Loan and it has gone to collections. I have never applied for a loan through this company, and had never heard of them. They would not give me much information but I contacted all of the credit entities: Experian, Equifax, and Transunion to place freezes and fraud alerts. No such loan was showing up on any of my credit reports; all has been clear. However, they called again today (almost 2 yrs after first call) and said I was going to be served legal documents. Would not say what it was for just that it would be delivered tomorrow, gave me the number for the filing party. ************, and case number. Called that number and got directions to the pre litigation **** Called American Web loans today ************. They asked for my full SS# to verify (seems fishy so I said no) and was told my loan was sold to a structured settlement so they gave me that number ,************ which was disconnected when I tried to call it. Guess Ill wait for the legal documents It seems that there is some sort of scam or fraud going on.

      AWL gave me a loan and I did not know the terms before signing it, they have contacted my husband about my debt, they call me multiple times a day 5 days a week, and when I tried to get information they where very rude to me. I am going to end up paying over $5000 for a $1000 loan because their terms where unclear and I did not see them until after the loan was signed

      My complaint is regarding the business practices of this company. I took a loan out with AWL and have paid over %150 in interest and still have to pay more. My loan was for $1900 I have paid back $3,820 and Im still being charged another $1700. This amount of interest cant be legal. If feel like Im being extorted and have to pay or accumulate even more interest. By *********** period I will be forced to pay $2000. Im paying interest on interest. I need help to stop this company from hustling me out of my hard earned money. At this time Im trapped in a financial scam.

      I received a call from Structured Settlement saying that I owe money on a loan from American Web Loan and it has gone to collections. I have never applied for a loan through this company, and until today I had never heard of them.I contacted all of the credit entities: Experian, Equifax, and Transunion to place freezes and fraud alerts. No such loan is showing up on any of my credit reports; however, inquiries were made on my Equifax report. It seems that there is some sort of scam or fraud going on. I need these collection people to stop harassing me for whatever this false claim is.
