With as much as this company bills it's customers, you would think that they would be quick to fix outages. Well no, they are the slowest. This is an incredibly inept electric company with basically a monopoly around *****. I hope one day soon that this company gets shut down. It's run by greed and their customer reviews are a great indicator of that. No, I don't care if them getting shut down hurts the lower people. Working for a shady company is enough to not care.

Been a cutomer for over a decade and they turned my power off for $50.01 overdue. At an average of $100 a month (usually between $85 and $120 depending on month) over said decade I have payed more then $12000. Never been to collections, always pay and never ask for a discount when my power goes out for a day or 2, I just suffer. Today it is currently 28° outside and $50.01 out of $12000 is keeping me cold! Thanks!

I have been having power surges and losing power almost on weekly bases! It’s sprinkling out and power went out and has been out for past 2 1/2 hour’s 6July2023. To speak with some is impossible on any given day! And am at mercy of them as no other power companies available! I work from home when I am not traveling and PSO is impacting my pocket book besides the high cost of power and now they are affecting my paycheck! Totally no reason for this!!!!!! If I coul leave no stars I would!!

An attempt to contact the customer by phone was made. A message has been left on her voicemail. Also on 7/06/23, there was a trouble ticket entered and in response to the ticket it was found that an insulator was missing and a jumper was almost burnt in half. Steps have been taken to correct the problems found.

Mass email campaign to encourage homeowners to have HVAC air maintenance and get rebate. I contacted and found it only applies if homeowner hasn't maintained HVAC system for years. This campaign is misleading and deceitful.

Tune-ups help keep your system running at peak efficiency - extending its useful life, preventing costly repairs and helping you save on your monthly energy costs. PSO customers may claim an HVAC tune-up rebate of up to $75 every other calendar year.

The rebate is available to PSO residential customers. Rebate offered as discount on total eligible service, and must request the PSO rebate at the time of service. Additional service provider fees may apply. Multifamily, new construction, and commercial systems are not eligible. Systems must have forced-air cooling and not had a tune-up in 2021. Window A/C units do not qualify.

Demonstrating a clear value in energy efficiency savings is part of the program's appeal while providing a significant rebate value to the customer. While customers who maintain their systems year after year will benefit from continued energy savings because of their efforts, there are many customers who do not. The rebate is provided to encourage those customers to take advantage of tuning up their HVAC system so they can achieve the same cost benefits.
