TLDR: Like others here say, SCAM SCAM SCAM, just hang up.Big waste of time AND MONEY to be dealing with this, hopefully this helps others.Received a call from what seemed to be a call center where I got switched around between various **dian and Southeast Asian accent females. They presented as promoting an informational campaign on programs to assist lowering bills. The audio was choppy, there were awkward pauses, the speaker's voice seemed to change from time to time, there were strange questions on confirming account information, vague information, and insistence on receiving only yes or no answers.Almost 2 months later, received notice from PG&E that we had been switched to a third party supplier for almost a month already.Called immediately to find out what's going on. *** definitely knows what they're doing, they kept insisting that they had audio recording of verbal confirmation to the change, and whether I had heard myself giving this confirmation. I said sure, send me the recording, I'd like to hear it myself. The recording was clearly altered. They didn't send the entire recording with them, but only an added call with an actual PG&E rep. ** it, there's long awkward pauses between questions and answers, many asking for repeat answers because of sketchy audio, places where answers don't quite match up to questions, like how I always repeat and ask confirmation of important numbers, and I definitely don't remember hearing the actual PG&E ***** listing of terms/conditions, which would have set off immediate red flags for me.The recording is essentially copy and pasted audio questions and answers between AAA, PG&E, and you the scammed. *** also cut out portions of their conversations between them and you, I recall asking multiple times for clarification which weren't ********* left chasing AAA to relinquish billing back to PG&E and try not to get slammed by gouged rates and cancellation fees. PG&E say the change back has to be initiated by ***.

I have had repeated calls from an Indian call center claiming to be *** and offering a 30% discount. Only when pressed did they mention anything to do with AAA energy services. But they still claimed to be a representative of PG&E. It looks like *** make a policy of hiring external sale agents who lie to customers in order to obtain accounts. Obviously *** makes money from this fraudulent behavior and has no interest in hiring honest agents or they would have done so already given the numerous complaints. Nobody should be doing business with this company that makes money from fraudulent signups.

My elderly mother has symptoms of dementia and cognitive issues. She got scammed. They also sent my parents a letter threatening to cut off their gas for unpaid bills while they were trying to dispute charges. When you also try to call AAA Energy they do not pick up their phones. It is impossible to get a hold of them. My parents bill escalated to over $1500 in just 3 months.

Guy at my door says we're here for PG&E, on my bill second page I didn't respond. Then says triple AAA I'm here about your gas usage. Lying to get customers attention. That's a scam to get ********************. Not cool. Next time I will have the news media out here and we'll see about the games u wanna play at my door. I will never do business with you. They need to be honest about who they are up front. Better yet no more solicitors at people's doors should be law for our protection.

************** is a SCAM, They claim to offer you a senior discount but it is anything but a discount. I received a phone call from a loud, fast-speaking individual claiming he could get me a 30% senior discount on my PG&E service. After asking me to write down my ID number and explaining my $1.02 plus .5 cents a day discount he also told me I would get a $50.00 a month credit for the next 36 months. He also told me there would be a cancellation fee of $100.00 if I canceled. He then started coaching me to respond "Yes" to some recorded questions. The Name was AAA Natural Gass Program. I googled it and was surprised by the negative comments and reviews. I asked the guy on the phone if this was his company and he said he represents a different company, "the good company." I asked him to provide me with his corporate address, which he couldn't. He then hung up on me. PG&E does not offer Senior Discounts. They do offer discounts under their "Care" program to ********** customers.

******* ******* came to my door using high pressure marketing tactics. I told him I did not want it but he lied and told me that answering the questions he fed me the answers to would just tell me if I was eligible the whole while he was speaking to me so it was impossible for me to listen to both him and the phone conversation. The next day I received a recorded call stating I had their services. I called first thing this morning and told them I did not want them. They tried to turn it on me being the one that answered their verbal questions. I told her their employee wouldnt stop talking and he fed me the answers. What a ****. I think Im in trouble. Im a disabled senior. I dont need this. He hit up a few of my other elderly senior neighbors as well. I dont think they know what hit them yet.

This company utilized a scripted marketing call stating they would assure lowered natural gas prices under contract with PG&E. Using high pressure tactics, asking for "Yes or NO" response to questions that changed in substance three or four times, I as apparently hooked into a recorded agreement to with to their natural gas delivery under the CA ******************** "CTA Program".After the call, and after speaking with PG&E directly, it became obvious that I had been scammed. Hundreds of reports of this company's fraudulent marketing program that utilizes a ********************************** (by what is clearly an Indian phone bank) to claim that the customer has "agreed to a switch" to their company's service. THE ENTIRE THING IS A SCAM! If you don't recognize it quickly, they try to charge you a cancellation fee of $100! I am reporting them for fraudulent marketing practices, and also filing a formal complaint with the **************************************.

AAA Energy company called me telling me they were from PGE and because I was a long term customer and older I was eligible to reduce my gas charges. They gave me misleading information, asking me to tell them the cost I paid for gas per "therm" which on my statement was$2.16. They said they could give it to me for 1/2 the price. What they did not say is that the therms on the bill includes procurement, transportation, and distibution. They are a totally separate company that only provides the procurement. PGE will still provide transportation and distribution. PGE's procurement fee for me is only $0.44. Their procurement fee is $1.20. They intentionally mislead customers to think that PGE is giving them a special discount. The telephone salesmen all have very heavy Indian accents and that makes the communication even more difficult. They transferred me to someone to record my acceptance of this new "benefit" of PGE, and I hung up. They called back, and I told them I thought they were a scam and I did not want their product. The callers name was ******************* , NS 115. (AAA responses below say they will immediately fire anyone not giving accurate info.) Please DO!. Now I received a contract in writing telling me that I have changed services to them. I immediately called their phone number and was told by service ***** ****** that I was able to cancel the contract because I had called within a three day period. Will they cancel it? They are not to be trusted. I want to warn that this company uses devious tactics and after I told them by phone that I did not want this service they still finalized the contract and sent it to me. Other elderly people might not pick up the devious ways they use when discussing "therms" and go along with the plan. This company should not be allowed to operate using these unethical enrollment practices.. I would be happy to participate in a class action suit. There are many complaints.

SCAM They spoke with my mom who has dementia and is not able to make decisions. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Any legitimate company would not scam the elderly. This is unethical and there should be a legal way to have them stopped.
