      My spouse and I put a deposit down on a vehicle on February 28, 2023 of a little over $1,000 and also paid to have the insurance put on it and everything before we could even leave with the vehicle. While driving the car, we said something about a noise that was coming from under the hood and asked about it. We were told that it was some tension from the timing belt because it had been replaced and to give it about 20 miles or so to go away. Less than 2 weeks of having the vehicle, we were already making payments and we start having issues with it. We pay the deductibles to have it put in the shop with a promise to have it fixed. And this started a cycle that has yet to stop. They say they fix it and if we give them so much amount of money that we can have our vehicle back. We pay the amount asked, we get it back and it is in worse condition. They have had the vehicle longer than I have and I am the one paying on it, while it sits in their parking lot. I have involved their corporate on numerous occasions and keep getting sent back to manager who is making no progress. After telling us multiple times to stop payment on it until they find out what is going on with it and then letting it get repossessed from us. When we have him on recording telling us not to pay on it, and then they repo it. There is so much more to this story but not enough room to type it all. They have lied to us, cheated us, and bamboozled us for lack of a better term. We are now tied into a contract that is putting us in debt because we still have no vehicle and having to pay out of pocket to get our 5 kids to school and work and the store. Corporate people have even told us that when they look in our account notes, they can see where the company has drug their feet and pushed us passed dates where we could have fixed things ourselves, had attitudes and straight up lied. The 1st manager has been fired and now his assistant has taken over and it is no better and no progress still in November!

      January 4th, 2024 ******************************* was forgiven the balance of the vehicle at the time of the complaint and sold a new vehicle. We have resolved the customers issues as well as repaired the relationship with the customer.

      Car was in car-marts possession. I had talked with a worker around the 23rd or 24th and set a date which was saturday 7/30 to come and pay my past due balance and pick up my vehicle. I arrived on Saturday 7/30 AND WAS told that I can not get my car back because as of 2 days prior to that the vehicle was marked as repossessed which did not make any sense because I literally had received a call from them earlier in the week asking me if I could come in so that's when I set the date of the 30th which was my next day off from work. They said they had no notes of such call because if it came from corporate they could not see their notes on the account. I then I asked if I could just get my belongings from the car. She said it shows no belongings were in the car. Which was a lie. She proceeded to go check the back and came back and said nothing is there. Then she said "they may have thrown the items away" I said well it has not been 30 days so why would my belongings be thrown away and she looked in the computer and said well it says that when the tow company got here with the vehicle there were no items in the car. I again told her that was false because The guy that picked up the car said I can come get my Items out at the car lot . I asked for corporates number and contacted them numerous times. I have had 1 person call me back which the call was just telling me that he was waiting on the manager at the car lot to go look in the back for my belongings and she has not called him back as promised. He said he would follow up with me Monday 8/1 and did not hear back. I called again thursday 8/4 and was told the GM would call me. Nothing. Called again 8/5 was put on hold and then transferred to the car lot where the manager again said she would go look in the inventory for my belongings and call me back in 15 minutes. No call ever came. Called 8/6 manager refused to get on the phone but had the worker tell me there was nothing they can do at this point. I need my items.
