Took my car there and the tire flew off! ******* is the worst! Managers are so unprofessional. They allow their employees to be called names and even managers fidgeting their employees putting bruises on them. I was told they half a** their work and if a customer brings back the leak in store they will fix it thenReview from Silvia O

The weekend of July 19 2024, we drove from the ******** to **********; on Saturday we discovered there was a big nail lodged on a rear tire, we brought the car to Les Schwab, we were greeted with courtesy from employees from the very beginning, were informed it would take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours to have it checked, a few minutes after the end of 2 hours the mechanic approached us and said we were successful in removing the nail and repair the tire retuned the keys and wished us a good day, we then asked how much it was owned? To our surprise he said that was a complimentary service. We are very grateful for the service and would recommend them anytime.Review from Brent M

The tire pressure on one of my tires was low, so I took my car into the downtown **************************** to have it filled. The first attendant said the tread on my tires looked great, so they would check to see if there was a leak they could find and repair. Got a call from a second attendant who said while the first attendant said the tread looked good, the tires were worn in inside where you couldn't see, and that since my car was all-wheel drive, all four tires needed to be replaced. I reluctantly agreed. With the tire replacement I got a report from Les Schwab saying my brakes, struts, alignment, etc. was all fine. Then I got a second report sent to me, and a follow-up phone call sayin that while the first report said everything was fine, it actually wasn't and that I had to replace my shocks and struts ASAP. I reluctantly agreed since I had some long drives coming up and wanted to be safe, and got another report from Les Schwab saying everything else on the car was fine. After the new shocks and struts were installed, my car started to make a grinding noise every time I turned sharply. I took it back in, and they said my wheel bearings/calipers/rotors were bad and had to be replaced (two weeks after they replaced my shocks and struts and said everything else was fine. The whole experience felt like one big, expensive scam. My car had no issues, and was running much better before I took it in to have the tire pressure checked. I would definitely avoid the downtown ****************************.Review from Tess A

I took my car in to have the back brakes fixed in April 2024. I was told that the new caliper had "stripped," so they installed the old one and I would have to come back for a new one once they received a shipment. The brake light was still on in my vehicle, and they said I would likely have to get that replaced at my dealer since they "did everything" and it wouldn't turn off. I came back for a replacement caliper the following week and the brake light eventually turned off once the part was replaced. About a week later, my brakes started to go out. I was driving and they almost completely stopped working, so fortunately I was able to stop without hurting myself or anyone else. I called ***************** and they looked at my car and said that a piece wasn't fitted correctly so the brake fluid was leaking, resulting in my brakes going out. They completely redid the brakes but I was still nervous considering all the issues I had previously. I haven't had to do any work on my car since then, but I went to open my hood today and the hood latch is broken. My car has not had the hood opened by myself or anyone else since I took it in for the brakes. It's frustrating that the hood latch was broken and I was not informed. This is going to be an expensive fix since the entire cable seems to be disconnected. I shouldn't not have to pay for damages caused by the negligence of the ***************** employees, especially after all the previous issues that I've had with something as simple as getting my brakes fixed. Not only could this had been dangerous for my safety, but I'm now dealing with a broke hood latch that is affecting my ability to fix other issues with my car.Review from Jake A

Purchased tires from them on my vehicle. I had informed them that I have my tires regularly rotated. Called the main office and was told since they dont have a record of me doing so. That it seems to them that I am lying about rotating them. My front two are going bald and my back two seem to be just fine. Paid for a warranty to only get slapped in the face. Will not be purchasing from them again. I am very good when it comes to maintenance my tires and vehicle. So think again when it comes to purchasing tires from here.Review from Ainsley H

My partner recently bought a used car and took it in to get the battery replaced. She was working until 10pm and couldn't pick it up during business hours. They told her they would leave the key under the gas cap. When she got there she discovered that the gas cap has a lock on it that can only be opened through a release inside the car. The employee would have had to use this release to place the key there. She was left stranded half an hour from home late at night because the employee who left the key there didn't call to double check that she had another way to get into the car. When we called in the morning to inform them of their mistake and tell them they needed to call a locksmith, the Manager, ******, immediately said "how is that our problem?" He insisted it was our mistake and that they shouldn't have to take responsibility for it. He labeled me as aggressive and angry, when he deliberately escalated the situation by being dismissive and refusing to try to find a solution. A simple "I'm sorry that happened, let's get that fixed" would have sufficed. Instead he argued for some time, told us we instructed them to put the key there, that the employee assumed we had another key (why would we need the key put in the gas cap if we had another key? They could have just left it inside the car), and continued blaming us for some time. He demanded to know why she couldn't have picked it up during business hours, and when I said she was at work until 10pm, said she should only bring the car in on days she's not working. The reason she took it there in the first place was because the location was within walking distance of her job. Finally he agreed to call a locksmith, and then finished by informing us we were no longer allowed to bring our cars to that location. I asked to speak to a manager and he laughed and said he was the manager. When I said I would be reporting him, he laughed again and said go ahead.Review from Tom T

Les Schwab, ********, ******* is terrible. I totally agree with the one-star rating. They would not give me the time of day, work on my vehicle because it is too old (because it is a vintage classic) or order the parts that I need. Arrogant in their interactions. What a terrible company.Review from Hanna U

The location here does not follow their brand's warranties, promises, or any of the guarantees. They take advantage of you especially if you appear inferior. Shocked that ***** is a manager. He had me completely traumatized after he made me drive to the location wasting time, money, and gas told me to be on standby for a battery for my car, did not contact me again that day as promised. I have been here for five years and I am still in disbelief at the morals of these people. After I called them myself, they again found no need to apologize again even after not doing what was agreed upon. ***** took it upon himself to say there was no responsibility to take as they had done nothing wrong; after 1) making me drive half an hour there 2) not resolving my battery problem leaving me completely in the unknown. "What responsibility is there to take?" Is what he had said and stayed silent after realizing that he was speaking to someone inferior.Les Schwab Tire Center Response

I brought my ****** forester to the les schwab shop on *******************************************************, because I started experiencing a significant vibration/rumbling through my steering wheel and floor in May 2024. I was pulled aside and told my tires had started to cup. They told me once cupping started there was very little they could do other than try to rotate front to back and side to side. They informed me that bad suspension could cause this but then informed me my suspension looked good. I bought my new tires, which was 19 months prior to that from them. They proceeded to tell me that my tires (Razr AT) were softer rubber and prone to this cupping. (The vibration was severe--no one should have to ride with a vibration that hard). He proceeded to give me a quote for a set of new tires. He said I had gotten the life of the tire used. How could that possibly be?? I put on ****** miles on a ****** mile tire. They never had me sign an invoice. I later found out they put the wrong mileage on that so called invoice. I called the Harlow store and explained what happened...that I felt dismissed, not listened to with a condescending attitude like I knew nothing. The Harlow store said bring the car in which I did. ******, one of the technicians, was awesome, showing me that the lower control arm was really loose on both sides of the front of the car. He said the cupping was barely there and that if we fixed the control arm chances are the tread wear would even out. In face he said the minimal amount of cupping would not cause that kind of vibration/rumble/shake. How could the main street store not even notice how bad the tire was loose?! and then check out the lower control arm? They said the suspension looked good! What a lie! That could have caused a major accident causing loss of life!! I will never return to that store. The person who was responsible for such a bad experience was *****.Review from Tim Z

Terrible service!! Don't do business with them. On April 9th/2024 I order leveling kit, shocks, wheels and tires. They made me put $1,000.00 down to order my stuff. I'm fine with that. Today May 23rd/2024 all I get from them is lieing saying order hasn't came, alignment machine broke, etc. So I went to get my refund of $1,000.00 and they still kept $250.00 of the amount saying they have to return parts. I think I deserve full refund of a $1,000.00 it's almost been two months I been waiting to get truck done. I recommend never to do business with them.Les Schwab Tire Center Response
