Do you remember when Les Schwab was a great company? They weren't the cheapest, but their customer service was outstanding. Everything from running out to your car with a smile to the free popcorn. They fixed flats for free, the place was great. Not so much now. I went in to have a sidewall blowout fixed/replaced. Inside we determined I hadn't purchased the tires there, and they didn't have a replacement anyway. Les Schwab had moved my car and closed it up only they didn't put my tire and wheel back in the trunk. I made an appointment and drove out to the dealership where the tires were purchased, (20+ miles). They had the tire, but I didn't have a wheel because Les Schwab forgot to put it back in my car. I took the tire sans wheel back to Schwab and they would NOT put the tire on the wheel unless I paid them to do it. WAIT A MINUTE! You made a mistake, and I have to pay? Great service that is. The manager said they would do better next time. I told him there wouldn't be a next time. They have lost a customer for ever.Les Schwab Tire Center

On July 22, 2022 I brought my 2018 ****** Rogue to the center for a tire repair. Slow leaker on the right rear.I left the vehicle and they called later to inform me that they had found a s**** that had punctured the tire. They also told me that the tire had "bead" damage and could not be reused. Also, as the vehicle is all wheel drive, it would need all of the tires replaced. I went to the store and inspected the damaged tire. It appeared to have been damaged while they were working it. They said no, that it was already there. I took to and tire dealer and was shown that the damage was right where the bead break machine had made contact. I was told that improper dismounting of the tire was the cause of the damage. I went to Les Schwab and ask what they would do. There reply was to offer four new tires at a cost of $780.00. The three remaining tires on the vehicle were still in good condition. I would have been more agreeable if they would have been upfront and the new tires at a 25% discount or something similar. No they stood firm. I went someplace else. I have done business there for several years, but will end that practice for here and all ***************** stores.Les Schwab Tire Center

BBB Review - ******* We regret the customer had a negative experience at the *******, ********** Les Schwab tire centers. We take customer reports seriously and diligently work to immediately address customer concerns.According to *********************** records, on July 22, 2022, ****************** brought his 2018 ****** Rogue (vehicle) to the tire center for a flat repair. Before the technician at the tire center performed any work on Mr. ******** vehicle, he informed ****************** that the **** light on his vehicle was on. The technician also noted on Mr. ******** invoice that he informed ****************** that the **** light was on prior to his arrival. The technician found that there was a s**** in the vehicles tire and a tear in the bead. The technician informed ****************** that the tire was not repairable and recommended replacing the tire. ****************** declined to purchase a new tire at that time so, at Mr. ******** request, the technician installed the spare tire. No further work was performed.Shortly after visiting the tire center, ****************** contacted Les Schwabs **************** Representative (***) and informed him the tire center caused the damage to the tire and sent in a photo of the tire. ****************** also informed the *** he had another tire shop inspect the damaged bead and insisted that tire shop informed him it was caused by the work performed by Les Schwab. In the photo, the damage is to the top section of the bead. Our technicians only dismounted the tire to inspect and repair the puncture, and when they dismount a tire, the tools they use hook under the bead. While it's entirely possible to tear a bead when dismounting a tire, it would never damage the top of the bead. Instead, the damage would take place on the bottom (or inside) of the bead, since that is the only place the equipment is contacting the tire. ****************** was unable to name the tire shop or produce an estimate or recommendation for a new tire or repair. Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in his report, we would like to assure ****************** that we remain committed to providing the best products and services possible.H. Firstly, The Les Schwab tire store is located in **********, **********. The tire had not been off of the wheel since new. The milage on the tire was approximately ****** miles. ***** that tire had not been off the wheel since new, I would think the damage was done at the factory. If true, it had not been a problem for all the miles driven. Why not repair and remount the tire. Insted, I was told that all of the tires would need replacement as the vehicle is AWD. As such, I was offered a new set of tires for $850.00. High cost for a flat. I went to another business, (************* in **********, **.) and purchased new tires at about the same price. So no "good deal" from Les Schwab. I stand the same. I will not do business with them again, or any other Les Schwab service center. A bad **** for the company.Review fromRick C

1 starI went to get my tires rotated and the service guy came back after the rotation was done and told me that I needed almost $1200 of work done on my rear axle so I took my vehicle to my local mechanic and it turned out that all I needed was to have my drive shaft tightened because the bolts were loose and I only needed one new caliper for one tire and the caliper was $60 dollars so all the work that the service guy said I needed I did not need he had things on the recommendation for new calipers new rotors and a whole bunch of other stuff that I did not needReview fromAshly W

2 starsI had just got four new tires on my car and one of the tires they gave me had popped and i was stranded at a gas station because of them. I can't get to work because of them I understand accidents happen and they were kind to me but this is completely unacceptable and of course it's not like I'm going to get any money from this I'm going to lose my job because of this I'm super unhappy with them right now I'm not even sure if I want any work done from them again.Review fromJacqueline F

1 starThis will be a quick summary of my husband's experience with Les Schwab. We have gone to Les Schwab for YEARS for our tire service needs and had never been disappointed. They would fix a flat for free and their customer service was just outstanding. That was until it was sold a couple of years ago. My husband had a blow out on his little **** Ranger Pickup in early May this year. Triple A came out and put on the spare and he went the very next day to Les Schwab and bought 4 new tires. I don't remember what they cost right now, but they checked his brakes and said he'd better get them fixed right away because they were near to failing. They gave him a quote of $738. He was kind of apprehensive about the price so he got an appointment with a garage we have a lot of our work done with. They called and said there wasn't anything wrong with his brakes and they were good for a great while yet!! WHAT????? It only cost him a $33 for a second opinion that saved us OVER SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS!! We are SO SAD we can't trust them anymore. From what I am reading here we are not alone. :(((Review fromGayla W

1 starLes Schwab died when the old man died. Not to mention of many many many disappointments - Not only did they let me drive out of the garage with a stripped lug nut and one broken off a four lug tire they are the only ones who ever touched the tires on THAT car. Then on another occurrence my brakes went out when I was at lunch one day, I drove straight to Schwabs --Had to get back from lunch waited over an hour and a half then the guy comes out and gives me a 550 + estimate yes, we are talking brakes and he is saying master cylinder and more??? What so I drive with NO brakes to the corner mechanic $100.00 BRAKES FIXED -Hmm taking advantage of a woman is exactly what that was. Then on Another Car purchase ***** mile tires they lasted less then ****** so they honored the warranty -here we are again ****** mile warranty the tires lasted less the half... Only this time they warranted 2 out of the 4 tires so s**** me somehow every time I tried to get my tires rotated they were always toooooooo busy for my FREE Tire rotation well guess what people you should absolutely demand THEY PERFORM -So again at the beginning I was told it would be 45minutes with NO price quote by the way. After about an hour and fifteen in the lobby I asked about when I could expect the car and they had actually just started so 1/2 hour over the originally timeline ==so 1 hour and 50 minutes later they charge me $489.00 for 4 tires and only gave me a partial credit on 2 of the. tires so I would have been better off with a competitor -I should have stuck to my principals and demanded they take the tires OFF my CAR. The point is same tires failed both times second time they magically made it my fault. Oh the laughter when I asked about my car after the hour they laughed and said I was lucky if it was ready in two so as for me and mine I WILL NEVER DARKEN SCHWABS DOOR WAY AGAIN & Trust me anyone that will listen I will share my feelings and tell them to steer clear of lying cheats women beware.
