Day one of my child here was appalling! My spouse failed to inform me of the code to get into the building that was unattended by any adult, yet was able to gain access inside from one of the children within after setting the alarm off by entering too many codes and ringing the bell constantly. As I entered the building smelled like nothing but baby f**** I had to venture through this building to find the outside playground and everyone there. Not one adult spoke to me and allowed me to just take my child without hesitation. NOT ONE WORD SPOKEN! This alone for me was scary to experience thinking of the easy compromise/ access to my child and no worries from the workers there not ever seeing or meeting me just taking this child just because she called out to me as I called for her. As for day 2 my child came home praising how she found a tree with red raspberries that taste amazing but are sour and how she ate a lot of them but not the green ones! So. Obviously not being watched and allowed to ingest things from plants and trees are ok with no account to possible allergies. Parents beware!

I work at a KinderCare. And though I love my children and Co-workers, the corporation is absolutely horrible! Their strict rules about EVERYTHING makes the job of caring for our kids and even running a fun successful center absolutely impossible. The pay isnt worth it for the long days and stress. Our teachers are over worked, underpaid and definitely under appreciated. We try to go above and beyond for our children but KinderCare doesnt allow us to do anything without their strict approval. I recommend enrolling your child as its a great place for kids to learn and grow but I dont recommend getting yourself a job there.

My son went here for two or three weeks! Not the best experience with the teacher in his classroom, she was very pushy and controlling. She wasnt a great fit my child so I transferred centers. Then the billing department decided that since I transferred centers I was no longer eligible to get refunded onto my original method of payment after being denied title 20! To make matter even worse they couldnt show a policy that said they could do that!

I wish 0 stars was a thing. I worked at a kindercare location in *************** ********, and also had my two boys enrolled there. I worked at kindercare for a total of 4 weeks. I was transferred to *************** after only one week (training) at the location on ******** in **** had hired me. I had help through department of human services to pay for childcare. When they transferred me, I had to transfer my state credit to the new center, but also had to be enrolled in auto pay to get the employee discount as well. In total, I paid KinderCare $724.75 for 4 weeks of childcare when I was only supposed to have to pay $71/week because of my state credit. They only should've charged me $284 for the 4 weeks. They owe me over $400. And I will likely have to take them to court to get it. While I was still working there, I brought these financial issues up to my center director, asking for some help since the auto pay I was required to be enrolled in left my account negative more than once. She and the district leader were unwilling to help me. When I told them I needed to wait for dhs or have help from kindercare before being able to bring my kids back, and thus continue working, they decided (unbeknownst to me) that that was my resignation. They didn't tell me they considered it my resignation until my credit came through, and I called to tell them I was looking forward to coming back. At which point, I was informed they thought I had resigned and had already taken my kids and I all out of their system, so I'd need to pick up their stuff and find somewhere else to work. It was absolute ********. the director, *******, and the district leader, *******, are awful. I do not recommend. As an employee, I saw many questionable practices, and as a parent/employee, I was treated terribly.

My child attended for several years. She developed deep friendships and had several great teachers. Unfortunately those great teachers always seemed to leave after a few months. I wish Id done more research before choosing this location. As others have stated, the near constant change of center directors should have been a red flag. Unfortunately we as parents were never fully informed of the regulatory reasons why directors were stepping down or being removed. My child experienced extreme injury on several occasions, non developmentally appropriate harm caused by other children on routine *************** punishment practices by some of the not so good teachers. The highlight of which included a teacher choosing to spray my child and other children in the 2 year old group with water when misbehaving. The center eventually removed the teacher in question but not before taking steps to miss lead parents that an investigation by the state was underway and yet no documentation of said investigation was ever available on ColoradoShines. Throughout our time with them, we had meetings with almost all center directors about staff behavior, educational activities, unexplained injuries, and we were continually dismissed or mislead only to discover that our concerns were valid after randomly checking the centers Colorado Shines page. If only Id known how to access this website earlier or know what legal obligations centers have to report and protect our kids. Is disheartening to see that many of the concerns we had been told not to worry about by directors or regional leads later became founded reports. Overcharged for my child continuously getting sick at their establishment. I get help from elc with financial and they have the audacity to charge me more because my son missed more then 13 days? Ridiculous. This needs to be fixed *********************************

I WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT! Ive been an employee for a year at kindercare but before working there my 2 year old was enrolled. At first everything looked great from a parent standpoint. Director seemed super nice etc but thats because as a parent you drop your children off and pick them up you are never actually there to see what goes on. Quickly as an employee I started seeing many alerting things. This scared me. The staff was great! Those over the teachers are the problem. The assistant directors, center directors , district leaders, are the problem and those are the ones who run the centers. Being an employee I seen people in lead roles mistreat children. Ive been told to do things such a leave children in there urine and p*** just for having accidents. They deny children food, and the lunch is always horrible and cooked by whatever teacher is available. Ive reported things to ethics because as a mom it hurts my heart to think this is what my child was going through before I started working here. Because I called Hr I was asked to leave the center by the center director and the district leader. They called the cops on me and made false allegations to fire me because I called HR about everything that was going on. I stepped outside the center and the center director then changed the code to the door and refused to give it to me while my child was still inside. They would make me take 30 min breaks , when breaks are an full hour. leave me alone with 20 children and deny me sick leave , I would be forced to work even with severe sickness. Its so horrible. Beforehand I heard so many bad reviews I just wish I would have listened.

I really dont think kinder care is a good place for children.. my kids are at the city centre location in Woodbury and we have had so many problems and serious ones and we have had no empathy or sincere apologies from the assistant or new head of director at that location. They left my one year old outside by his self , they have came home with about ***** **** rashes since they have been there , the employees are always on their phone and wonder why my kids faces are never clean or butts . They have no cameras of protection for their staff or the kids there . They dont keep up on incident reports when your kids have bruises or bite marks. I had to keep calling to ask how they have them. We had to transfer them out of that daycare , and hoping we dont ever have to experience anything like this again, especially our kids have to get the consequences of the employees not doing their job properly.The director is super aggressive and doesnt step in classrooms as much when the staff need it and they all look super tired and stressed out. I hope they get the help they need and better staff training so kids dont have to experience this as kids away from their home and parents and have no one to advocate for them.

We recently relocated and took our son to ***** are in *********. They lost my child on his 1st day at this schoo. How does a 3year old leave the premises unnoticed? They have an unsecured small door at the back that a teacher forgot to lock. They called my husband saying they couldnt find our son. How careless can you be to lose a child on their 1st day? This was his 1st and last day. The teachers are never available to receive parents and you have to wait for more than 10mins for someone to attend to you. This is the worst daycare

They over billed me and reversed the directors credits when they tried to fix it. They had ongoing staffing issues to the point that we missed multiple days due to classroom closures, the reason we left is because the director was arrested for sexual exploitation of a student. If that is who they are choosing to take care of our children then I don't want any part of it. Kindercare in ******, ** on Oralabor.
