Really terrible service and business practices. I would never bed tan as it is extremely dangerous - the young girl's response was to tell me that she had a lotion to sell me that prevented skin cancer. That alone is reason this place should be shut down, but they are also racist and horrible people.

***************************** has been a member of Palm Beach Tan for a few years. On Saturday 7-22-23 she came in to spray tan and cancel her membership. Then Saturday evening I got a customer service email and also a comment on our customer satisfaction email from ******, asking someone to call her back because of bad customer service. Then this morning I talked to the sales associate who was helping her and our general manger who was behind the counter helping someone else during this. Both stated during the check in, ****** became very rude and degrading to the sales associate for no apparent reason and then when our general manager stepped in, she started degrading her also with many rude comments. Then a hand gesture and more comments as she walked out the door. During this the manager gave her our customer service number to call with any problems she was having so a customer service person could contact her. I called ******'s number she left on the customer service email today with no answer. I left a voice message with my contact number with no return call. As per ******'s BBB comments: Tanning is not dangerous when done within the guidelines of a quality tanning salon. Also, our sales associate would not try to sell her a lotion that prevents skin cancer because there is no such thing, and all our sales associates are highly trained in quality tanning lotions and what they do for the customer. And then I asked our sales associate and manager if anything racist or any comments like that were ever made, they said nothing like that was even close to being said from anyone and didn't even know why that would even come up in ******'s comments? As per her request, her membership has been canceled. Palm Beach Tan now considered this matter closed.
