      Employee named Rayon is crazy like ******. He is a miserable loser who works at pepboys ******** ny. Doesn't smile or show any interest in making cash sales for parts. Dude should just sit home. Showing him my ID and giving him my phone # is not enough for him. How stupid is this guy. His temper is out of control like a little baby with broken on and off switch

      I went for a break inspection they inspected my break said only the back breaks needs to be replaced also told me I need an alignment being though I had a spare tire on my vehicle never told me I had to buy a new one also I paid to get a oil change fine so my entire service amount was 900 and something with a coupon for 50$ off ok never asked for two tires which ran ****** my breaks still squeak and scrapping sounds when I break called and the manager talk to me like I dont know whats going on with my car and told me I agreed to the service so o called the corporate number filed a complaint its been almost two weeks they said somebody would reach out in 24/48 hrs still nobody so what did I pay for if my breaks still bad

      Pep Boys on ********** in *********** is the worst business establishment I have ever encountered! I highly recommend going there if you want to be robbed by the company and have the management have zero cares about it after.I paid $1400 to have my brake pads replaced, when I picked up my car all of the payment terminals were having problems so I swiped my card and the payment was made and the funds were taken out of my account.I showed 2 managers that the funds had been taken out of my account but they said this had been happening quite often and they needed to contact the **************** I made it very clear that I did not have the funds in my bank account and by no means should they ring this transaction up a second time.A few days later, sure enough I woke up and another $1400 was withdrawn from my bank account. I called the store and neither of the managers wanted to be Hassled with my situation. They were both EXTREMELY RUDE.I was told by the manager he was not going to argue with me and that I had to call 1.800.pepboys to get my money back.I filed a dispute with my bank but was told it can take 14 business days to resolve the issue ( THREE WEEKS)!!!Pep Boys has no concern about their customers.NEVER GO TO **********************!

      Absolutely horrible work. I have spent 3.8k on work on 3 different occasions this year at this place. They are absolutely undeniably terrible at what they do. Outright Horrible work. you have been warned, and charges will be pressed for scam and fraudulent activity regarding a premium trim sports car.

      Bad business very unprofessional also prejudice they had my car for two months on the 20th I paid 2817.23 and I still don’t have my car the called me to come get my car when I get there it’s not ready

      I had a tune-up in spark plug work done 9 months ago. It was under warranty. My check engine light came on and when I went in there they said they would take care of it if it was indeed the spark plugs and coils. They said it was when they did some work on my car but then when I told them it was under warranty they decided to do some more digging as they would say. After my car was in the shop for 3 days when it was supposed to be done the day it was dropped off they decided to say it was from internal engine issues. 9 months prior they said my engine was perfect. I explained that due to improper installation and or bad spark plugs and coils 9 months ago when they did the work this could lead to what they are saying. How can my engine be perfect prior and now there's issues in the spark plugs and coils are bad again? They did not want to admit any fault and just wanted to make excuses and would not honor the warranty. Super Shady business with Superbad reviews check them out on ****** especially there terrible corporate office.

      My problem is, I brought my car to be looked at my car because my air conditioning was running hot. ******* told me that my air compressor was going out in the pump that runs from the radiator and the Freon needed to be replaced. charged me $1969 money that I did not have for a simple job but when I left, I could not even make it five minutes down there road without my car running hot. My car was not running hot now my engine is running hot because whatever ******* did, I believe he wanted me to pay $1969 it like the target Women especially blacks. I dont have 1969 but you could have left my car how it was. It was running fine until he stopped the flow of my frown to my engine

      AVOID THIS PLACE!! I went to the location in ******, ** on Tuesday, 02/25/25. I was told by ****** that the tires I needed werent in stock, so hed have them FEDEXd and theyd be in after 12PM on 02/26/25. On 02/25/25, ****** tried to get me to sign a receipt for over $500 but he said I wont be paying that full amount. I did not sign that receipt!!! He told me I had to pay a $100 deposit on 02/25 and that Ill only have to pay the additional $100 plus when I returned the next day. He asked me on 02/26 if I wanted the alignment. I asked him how much it was. He said it was free and nothing else was said about it. When it was time for me to check out, he asked me which alignment I wanted. The one for $100 or the more expensive one. I asked him what he meant because I didnt tell them to proceed with the alignment. That was his first time mentioning a price for the alignment that I didnt ask for. He asked me which one I wanted to pay for AFTER they did it!! LIVID is an understatement! Then one of the ladies at the front told me I really needed it, which was besides the point! That was $100 extra that I didnt plan on paying! Very insensitive and unprofessional! I will not be going back!

      On November 30, 2024, I sent a question to PepBoys customer ********************** regarding questioning some apparently excessive and unexplained charges on an invoice that I had paid in good faith. This included, for example, why I paid for 6 quarts of oil for an engine that holds 4.4 quarts, and what certain charges were for when they were marked "outside purchase" or marked with unintelligible abbreviations. Customer ********************** assigned a number to the case and stated that I would hear back from a Field Leadership Team. Well, several emails later, I called them in mid-January 2025 to say that I had heard nothing from a Field Leadership Team. The customer ********************** person called the Field Leadership Team and responded that the team was busy and that the team promised to call me back within 24 hours. Two weeks later, and still nothing. I won't return to this business, because there is no safety from unjust charges.
