I had a terrible experience with Armstrong. Their internet equipment seems very outdated compared to Xfinity and ********* I had an issue pop up within the first week where I had to call for a technician to fix the modem. Never received a phone call and after 3 hours of waiting I called and the customer service *** notified me that my appointment had been canceled because no one was home. Weeks later I found a door tag on my garage door from Armstrong. At this point I had **************** for a week but paid for two months and was ready to move on and cancel my service. When I called back to cancel the customer service *** told me that the serviceman called me, which never happened, and hey mistakes happen and I should be more forgiving. They asked me who I was switching to and I should consider how Armstrong is a small business and not support a larger company. I own a small business and love supporting small business and I also value receiving some value for the service I am paying for. I hope that you can learn from my ****** and avoid this disappointing experience.

I have had zoom internet at the premium 1 gig for over a year now with instability issues stemming for over ************************************************************************************************ a very populated area. multiple equipment replacements, drop re-runs from the pole and firmware rollbacks due to bad/poor equipment and firmware instability. would not recommend Armstrong due to prices, stability, and other options at a lower cost and quality

I recently moved into a new place 3 days ago and got the zoom extreme package which promises up to 1000mbps. When attempting online gaming, it was completely unusable. I had this issue at my last residence and it took more than a month to fix. This company has a monopoly in the area, at least ********, as far as I know. They signed me up and got me running without disclaiming how obviously bad their infrastructure is. I cannot believe I will be fighting this issue again. (I moved .3 miles away)... Companies of this size have the resources to evaluate their infrastructure and plan ahead to handle their user base. ******************** has ALWAYS chosen not to until their customers complain, because who will they go to if not them? No one! Armstrong is literally the South Park cable company from the TV show. I suggest looking that up on *******.

Had called Armstrong to discuss bill and after a while the message I received was that they were moving to a priority slot. Immediately after they hung up. Tried to contact them chat on customer service several times they also ended **** or indicated other issues. Not sure why I as a paying customer why I am having such difficulty reaching someone. I know we are all busy but to hang up on the phone call or to disconnect me from chat is troubling.

A former 5-star company got greedy and now there is literally nothing a customer can do and they know it. A few years back they heavily invested in the failed 'pod' tech for full home internet and now, literally a speed akin to 1998 dial up is what we get in the second floor of the home. Any calls made to their service line are met by a kind but clearly inexperienced young man or woman who is painfully reading from a script and all they offer is to 'unplug/replug' the pod and occasionally offer to reset the signal. What is wild to me is that 90% of the time they reset the signal, the service is markedly better, then fails again within a week. Is this a 'sharing/stealing' bandwith issue? I will never know as the techs *actually* tell you they have no idea and at the end suggest you can get routers for the home again, but now at an inflated cost compared to their 'superior' pods.Utter nonsense. They should be investigated - a company with such a good track record to change so horridly and so quickly - something doesnt add up here...

They have the worst customer service ever. 3 year contracts and if you move and it is out of their service area they will not let you out of your contract. They force you to pay 100 percent for service that they can't provide. NO other internet service has strict contracts like this. It's taking your money and not providing a sevice. I moved 5 miles away and it was out of their "footprint" and they are still going to charge me for 2 more years for service that they can't provide me. I will be paying double for internet for years now.
