      I started a debt settlement program with JG Wentworth on 11-16-2022. My client ID ******* for JG Wentworth. Filing a complaint with this company due to inconsistencies with information about their program. I have been contacting them multiple times to get help with adjusting my payments. I have been told that they cannot adjust the payments because of the high amount on one creditor that was settled, but there are only a few that are settled, and the rest of the accounts have not been started in negotiations. I have been told by different client services agents that they can help me and then get a response back saying they are unable to make any adjustments. Negotiations with the creditors have been slow and my bank account has depleted too almost nothing. I have addressed my concerns with them multiple times and I have not had any results to date other than i need to keep paying. On approximate date of July 21, 2023, I had contacted them to try to get a final resolution on my payments and thought I had a breakthrough. To find out I have got an email and a text and a call. An email saying, they can make an adjustment of 943.00 10th of each month with a skipped payment of 466.00 on the 30th of July which was agreed over the phone. An email saying, they are unable to make an adjustment, and text saying if I can pay the 466.00 on the 30th of July and start paying the 943.00 on the 10th of each month. That is almost double dipping if you ask me. My account is depleted and unable to recover and I sent an email to cancel the debt settlement program. I am unhappy with the results and unhappy with individuals that are working with me. I have made my concerns known to them multiple times especially about home being jeopardy with a possible foreclosure if I can't get the adjustments made. Their response to that was: Well, you will just have to move in with someone. There is not much we can do. I refuse to give up my house for that. That was basically a slap in the face. To resolve this issue, I would like to have JG Wentworth to Stop my debt settlement program and refund my money that is owed to me. I did email them again about my concern and to have them stop payments and negotiations with the creditors and stop the plan altogether.

      My program shows I need to pay $13,173.46. I have paid $12,504.60 as of 7/19/23. My bi-weekly payments are $275 each which means I have 2.4 payments left. JG shows I still need to make 7 more payments. I reached out via text Jun 27 and Jun 30 with no response. I also reached out via email numerous times without resolution. Another issue I have is that one of my creditors is listed twice under the Settlement Offers tab.

      We have done business in the past however after multiple requests that they stop harrasing me, they continue and then lie saying they're only returning my calls or requests for quotes which is not true. Now they are taking it a step further and sending me contracts to sign when we havent talked or discussed quotes for possible transfer of payments.

      On June 16th I spoke with ***** ************. He said I would get a $500 signing bonus if I signed docs saying I would be interested in getting money from my annuity. He said that the 500 is a bonus for signing the application and that I could get the money thru my ******* card that day. At 1pm a notary named ************************** came and I signed the documents. When she let me know they were received by JGW, I asked for the $500. It was AFTER they got all the docs, they said that since I wouldn't give them my banking info, they would send a ***** a check for immediate delivery. I waited from Friday till Tuesday when I got a check from *****. When I went to the bank to cash it they said it was a fraudulant and it couldn't be cashed. I called JGW and NOW they are saying it takes days for it to be able to cash. ???? They are stalling, I believe to force me into a contract that I now want to void because they lied several time AFTER they got the docs they wanted with all my personal information. I want the $500 promised for signing all these documents. I have copies and can forward them if necessary.

      I was charged over $14000 for services that WERE NOT rendered over the past year. I had asked them to settle approximately 10 creditors (credit card debts) that were longstanding which were incurred during the COVID 19 Pandemic and after one year, these were the fees they charged me. My credit has been ruined as a result (my score went from ~720 to <500) AND I have no resolve to my creditor debt whatsoever. Essentially I wasted $14000 that could have been dedicated to by creditors since no services were rendered whatsoever.

      After reviewing your account, we settled 4 of the 5 creditors enrolled into our debt settlement program. Per the agreement, we are owed a fee for negotiating your 4 accounts that were settled. At this time, we are still owed $260.

      Every day, several times a day, I get SPAM claiming it is from JG Wentworth. I suspect it is NOT. I've tried several ways to forward it to them for legal action, only to have the email rejected. I have also tried several times to get this to stop. If I had a legit email address for JG Wentworth, I would forward with headers. Each one appears to be coming from ******.com, a registered user of *********.com. I have notified ********* repeatedly and they have done nothing to stop it, which is a legal violation. I think the legal department of JG Wentworth would be interested if their name is being used for illegal purposes! I can't post the header here, because of space limitations.

      I spoke to a representative they sent me forms I was not able to respond to the email. I am not going to participate in the program due to the shady way that that form was sent and that I was unable to respond to it. Please do not put me in the program.I called yesterday. looking for advice and They answered immediately. Today I was forwarded to a voicemail. I dont believe they have your best interest at heart. I would like someone to call me to validate that they have not put me in the program and they have removed me from the potential client list and mailing list. Thank you.
