      Bike was small and store refused a return/exchange even if online support advised us to go to the store. Store Manager at the ******* MA branch refused to help escalate the issue to someone that can help. Avoid buying a bicycle at Dicks due to a very short 24 hr return policy on bicycles.

      Bought a kayak in store in May 2024. The next weekend took it out in water and found.out.seat was defective and back rest would not stay up. I then called the store to see if I could get refund and ****** store manager said yes but I said I couldn't find receipt and he said no problem so I loaded it up and drove an hour to get there. ****** met me in store and told me since he.couldn't find me on computer and I paid cash he.couldn't do anything without receipt but give me about half of what I paid for it or I take it back home and no apology. So I took it back home and was not happy. I then found receipt. So I drove an hour back to take it back the next week after getting the ok by phone a nice lady named *******. Well she was not there and had to deal with ****** again. He then informed me that they can't take it back since it was in the water and raining outside with a careless look in his eyes and was going to dismiss me with no apology. I then told him to get his manager and she told me the same but gave me the option to exchange it for another kayak. I got one way more expensive since I had no other option. Another nice guy and not nice ****** made the swap and loaded it in my truck. I thanked the nice guy and then told ****** thanks for nothing, he laughed. Then I said I will report you, he chuckled and gave his first and last name while he walked in store. I then next day found it lots cheaper at acadamy. So I called in there and ******* said she will price match. So I had my fiance call since she was in Evansville and ****** denied her. So week later she went back and ******* was there and gave her the money for price match. During this horrible customer service experience I contacted Dicks headquarters about ****** and nothing got done about it. They must be hard up for help to have someone like him in that position. I will never go back as a result of this and will spread the word

      Me and my family ordered 6 pair of shoes, off Dicks website (allegedly). We were charged $80 because the shoes were discounted at the time. Once our money was taken. We received an email stating we made the purchase. But we never received an ETA and their wasn't any customer service representative of any kind. That we could stay in communication with to track our purchase. The small amount of information we did have ( which was only an email). It didn't work, nor was their a number in that email. It's been 10 days since we made the purchase. And since we never received an ETA. We have no clue if we will receive our purchase. So, be very careful using Dicks website. I'm not sure if hackers hacked the sight and used Dicks as a front. All I know is we went on their sight and ordered from their sight and didn't receive any merchandise.

      Don't waste your time disputing anything. Double charged at the register for a tee shirt. I reported it immediately, they said they'd "check the video". They clearly did not, because they would've seen the kid double scan. I disputed the double charge with my credit card company after the appropriate waiting time for them to handle it. They fought it and I still ended up the charge. They used the receipt I provided against me! They owe me another tee shirt!! Would give them a zero if I could! Never again!

      I mistakenly placed a one day delivery with since it was after 2pm, was actually NOT a same day delivery, but an overnight delivery. I tried to cancel right after submitting. I immediately contacted Dicks and they were unable to accommodate or help in any way. I was informed that they work with Door Dash and therefore they can not cancel. I didn't purchase with Door Dash I purchased through Dicks. This is a refection of Dicks Sporting Goods and I am extremely unhappy with my experience.

      I ordered something online and realized the tracking was not showing any movement. In this day and age, Dicks need to step up their game with online ordering/shipping/delivery as promised. I could have ordered elsewhere and I went with Dicks as they had a sale price on the item. I regret not moving with another option as it was time sensitive for a big event that I will now need to find another option quickly. With 3 small children as a single parent building a career, it will be a challenge to do so in 2 days.

      I took out a store credit card and they monitored my credit without my knowledge or permission. For example, they will give a customer a limit and adjust the limit by credit score. It can be damaging to ones credit. I did not even know how they were doing this, because I never gave them permission to continually run my credit. I called up Synchrony and the customer service representative claims the credit bureau sends them copies of customer credit reports and thats how they get the information. I told her to close the account. She told me if I close the account I cant open it again. I still closed the account. I was never late on a payment, and I paid the bill off every month. I will never shop at any of their stores again. Overall, when I took out the credit card, they should have told me they monitored credit; otherwise, I would not have took out the credit card.

      I placed an order online with ****'S for a pair of lacrosse cleats for my son, and paid for same day delivery. I received confirmation email with delivery time of 4-7 pm. After this time had passed I reached out through the chat customer service option. I gave them the order information, and they said it would still be delivered same day. Waited until 10 pm, reached out again, and had the same reply. No package was delivered. Contacted ****'S the next day and was told there was a technical error and my order was canceled. **************** representative said he would give a discount and reorder the shoes for same day delivery. Gave the representative my address/payment info, and then was told that they did not have the item to ship same day delivery. Representative said these things happen. Talked with a supervisor who said he would give me 150 ****'S points (a 5 dollar value) and reorder the shoes with standard shipping. ****'S online shop has major issues, ****'S customer service is basically useless, and I'm extremely disappointed. I'm a youth league coach who has used ****'S for years, but after this experience I will no longer recommend them to the families of my players.Date of experience: March 09, 2024

      Their warehouse charged us twice as the first register malfunctioned, after 3 months and 5 calls and 4 letters they state they have 2 receipts ( for the exact same merchandise purchased minutes apart on 2 different registers) and state they are not at fault... initially they stated it would be an easy fix, but have not fixed it, deny any wrongdoing to the credit card company, and now refuse to answer emails.they have great products, we shop there a lot, but will never use the warehouse again as we can't trust the business there

      Do not trust them with any special orders!! I ordered a Ping utility wedge from their Scottsdale store on January 19. No club received and no contact for over 30 days. I checked with Ping and they told me orders were currently being filled within 3-5 business days. I called the store and they told me I had to call their customer service department. I called them and they sent me back to the store. I finally reached someone, but they said I had an invalid order number, even though I was reading I right off the printed receipt they gave me at the store. I finally connected last week with someone who said he was on top of it, and would call Ping to get an expected delivery date, and then call me back with an update. As of yesterday, no call back. I called the store again, and they told me that Ping couldn’t find the order. This is 39 days since I placed the order in store and paid for it. Incredible incompetence and horrible customer service!!
