    I contacted Central Heating in mid December, the week before the Christmas holiday. They sent a gentleman out to work on our boiler, since the last Heating professional we hired disappeared on us regarding the same issue. No call, no follow up on the next install: nothing. Central Heating and Plumbing came highly recommended. We finally had hope of fixing the heating issues that had been on hold since November. Well, it's now January. There's been no follow up, aside from that first appointment when they came, looked at the boiler, and said they needed to order a part. Even with phone calls to the business office, I have not been patched through to the repairman who came out the first time, and no one has called back to follow up on our call back message. I find this extremely unprofessional and also concerning. A person should be able to rely on a pro to fix Heating problems in the middle of winter. ESPECIALLY middle of winter. The two companies we've hired in this area, with Central Heating and Plumbing being the second: have all been radio silent after that first appointment. Contact someone else for your Heating needs, because they will leave you high and dry.

    As this is a rental property and ******* is not the owner, Central ******************************************************** contacted the homeowner and advised them that we would not be making any repairs or quoting a new boiler at this residence. It is NOT the responsibility of our company to discuss repairs and installations with the tenant as they are not the decision maker of the property. The homeowner understood the reasoning and stated that they would be looking elsewhere to fix said boiler.

    Very poor customer service. We have a pump that we wanted replaced after 10 years. I know that the previous owner bought it through Central so we called them for a new one. The guy in the phone wouldnt listen to the model or a picture sent to himhe simply said I know what it is. When the technician came out to install it and he brought a sup pump. The technician was bad mouthing the office because he was given the wrong parts. So I ended up fixing it myself. Lo and behold 2 weeks later I get a $50 bill in the mail for a service fee that they screwed up. When I called to ask what this is the office manager was very nasty and told me to pay it. I said let me talk to the owner. He gets on the phone and says I will wave the fee but will put you on a DO NOT SERVICE list. All over their mistake. Terrible company, do not use!

    Since this interaction was in November of 2021, we do not recall all of the particulars, however, looking back into our records, we advised customer that we would order the pump he needed and take care of the issue. We ordered the correct sump pump and scheduled the return visit. The customer called and cancelled our visit. The office manager recalled the conversation and stated he was not rude, just trying to explain situation and customer refused to listen. Our typical service charge for that call would have been $104, however, we only charged a $50 trip charge which we credited back to the customer in the end. We had never serviced this customer before this date.
