      In collaboration with my insurance company and a third-party service provider, I initiated the claims process for my totaled truck. The insurance company and third-party service provider sent a letter to American Heritage Federal Credit Union, the institution that holds my loan. After a week of experiencing a lack of follow-up from either party, I contacted ***** directly.Upon reaching out, ***** informed me that they were unaware of the trucks totality, despite my providing evidence suggesting that the vehicle was sent on April 21, 2025.On April 24, 2025, I repeated my inquiry to *****, and they reiterated their inability to locate any communication from the insurance company or third-party service provider. Subsequently, I contacted the third-party service provider on the same day, who confirmed that they had dispatched the necessary documentation to ***** on April 21, 2025, and had engaged in a conversation with a bank employee regarding the matter.Based on these experiences, I strongly advise against seeking services from American Heritage Federal Credit Union for your financial needs. Their lack of transparency and honesty in dealing with customers is evident, as evidenced by their D- rating with the Better Business Bureau.

      ********** and worst customer service. Found out they withdrew a payment from my bank account without my authorization at all. Didnt even sign anything for this payment to come out, just woke up one morning with a deduction in my account from them. ALSO, they wont allow you to make a payment on their portal(since its changed and i lost access and they wont give access back), or do any payment authorization forms, or allow any payments to be made unless you call them after being on hold for 30+ minutes. Just the worst service ever and making illegal transactions without authorization just shows how they operate. So easy for them to charge your account without authorization but when you try to make a payment they will only do it over the phone. So horrible

      *** closed an account **** this bank only to find out they reported an outstanding debt on my credit report and refused to remove commuting identity theft under fcra laws. Terrible bank

      AMERICAN HERITAGE RECENTLY CHANGE HOW YOU LOGIN TO YOUR SYTEM AND HOW YOUR PAYMENTS ARE MADE FOR AT LEAST, YOU AUTO LOANS. I ONLY HAVE AN AUTO LOAN WITH THEM AFTER FINANCING MY CAR WITH THEM THROUGH A COMPANY. I HAD NOT BEEN ON THEIR SITE FOR 6 MONTHS. I ONLY GET MONTLY MAIL FROM THEM TO SHOW MY CAR PAYMENT HAS GONE THROUGH AND MY LOAN BALANCE. I DECIDED I WANTED TO APPLY MORE TO MY MONTHLY PAYMENT. WHEN TRYING TO LOG IN, I WAS NOT ABLE TO AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO RESET MY PASSWORD. I TRIED TO CHAT WITH AN AGENT. I ALSO COULD NOT BECAUSE I "HAD NOT SET UP A NEW CHAT LOGIN" OR SUCH. SO, SHE GAVE ME A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. I WAS #** IN THE QUE. I HAD TO WAIT 30 MINUTES TO TALK TO AN AGENT. THE AGENT TOLD ME THEY CHANGE THE SYSTEM THEY USED AND I HAD TO CREATE A WHOLE NEW LOGIN AND SET MY CAR LOAN PAYMENTS BACK UP (EVERYTHING HAD BEEN DELETED AND UNBENOUNCED TO ME, MY NEXT PAYMENT IN 4 DAYS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT). IT WAS A GOOD THING I WENT ON THE PAGE BECASUE I HAD AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS!!!THE AGENT H31**3530343131343439H INSISTED THAT I WAS INFORMED. THEN IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THE ONLY WAY THEY NOTIFIED CUSTOMER WAS IF YOU CAME TO THEIR WEBSITE OR OR LOGGED IN TO YOU ACCOUNT. WELL SINCE MY PAYMENTS WERE COMING OUT AUTOMATICALLY AND I HAVE NO OTHER REGULAR ACCOUTNS, I HAD NO ******* ME, THIS IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL. TO SHUT OFF CUSTOMERS PAYMENTS WITHOUT INFORMING THEM IN WRITING IN ANY WAY IS UNFATHOMABLE. SO IF I DID NOT MAKE A PAYMENT BECAUSE THE BANK CHANGED THEIR SYSTEM, IT WOULD BE MY FAULT? THEIR WERE NO APOLOGIES, NOTHING. COMPLETE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENCTS ON CHAT AND ON THE PHONE. SUPERVISORS WHO WON'T TALK TO ****** NOT BANK WITH THEM AND ABSOLUTELY EVER GET A LOAN!

      I had set up recurring payments for a truck loan.. They took 3 payments out of my account in June over 4 days.. I called and they mailed 2 of the payments back to me.. They couldnt figure out why this happened but said they would get to the bottom of it and call me back.. Never heard back from them. Just saw in my bank statement that they took 2 payment out on consecutive days this week. Im done with recurring payments!

      I had opened an online account with ******************************************************************************************* with a deposit of $500 dollars and they can not find where the money is because they are saying do I have anything financed with them and I do not , I've called emailed and no one can help me on where the money is, if it is an error I should have the money deposited back into my account. I believe I might have been scammed by this company. I have reached out numerous times with no one responding back to me. Do not do business with this Credit union, they get ZERO STARS

      For a mortgage: they are mean because they do not send bills in a time-frame that is helpful. Instead every time you send a payment, they send the bill for the next month right away. Well it comes too early, so you end up setting it aside. And then it's very possible you end up paying a lateness fee! It happened to me and now my credit isn't perfect! -Jen ****

      If I can give zero, I would, I 0 my vehicle in June 26.2023. 2019 Jeep Grand Cherok. car note is 732.00. I put insurance on my vehicle before, I left the dealership. one day I went to pay my car note online, the website was not working so I called the Bank the representative tells me the reason is I don't have collision, and collateral damages LIES the company is a SCAM. They added extra 6,000. Plus, interest, and Fees. to my account. know my car note went from 732.00 to 984.00 how can you do that this company needs to be investigated. declaration page was giving. The representative tells me I have to do this for next 12 months. i would like to pay my regular payment of 732.00. I hope the BBB reading all our reviews we would like to be heard, and the situation taking care of this is not Fair to me or anyone else. the CEO doesn't care because, he is the scammer. BBB do you Job.

      This company is stealing money from people. The company went up 250.00 on my car not trying to say I purchased my vehicle without full coverage on my Jeep. anybody knows when you go to a dealer you have to call the insurance company while in the dealer to verify car insurance. without any warming. and telling me I have to stay with them for 12 months. to pay the money to the bank. this is some FRAUD issue going on here. stay away from This credit union American Heritge Credit UNION. they also Lies to Their customers. LIES, LIES the representives are very disrespectful, And EVIL. don't know how to answer direct question. Run away. I will be looking into the situation I know they cannot do this.

      I would like the credit balance of $30.70 refunded to me. My loan of $17,603.89 was paid in full on 10/24/2020. I have contacted American Heritage Credit Union several times asking to have the credit balance returned to me. They would like me to fill out more paperwork to obtain the refund. I reminded them they have all my information otherwise they would never have given me the loan. Also, the loan was paid every month without fail which lead to the loan being paid in full. Why can't AHCU just cut me a check for $30.70.
