Bought tire on November 17,2022. Also purchased the road hazard warranty. On September 29,2023 two of the tire had the steel inside break and caused damage to the tires. Filed warranty and they denied the claim and told me the tires don't have manufacturer warranty on Defect. They are not even a year old and the tires have no damage.Business Response

This process takes 8 to 12 weeks and the supplier/manufacturer may request the customer to send tires back. - Date of transaction: 9/13/2023 - Paid Simple Tire LLC $330.54 - On www.simpletire.com company website platform, they have a search engine that allows you to filter your search to your vehicle's year/make/model/trim, then they have every tire that fits your vehicle in their inventory come up, and myself (customer) selects the tire I desired. As you can see in the supporting documents, I typed in the exact year/make/model/trim in the search engine and the tires they sent me are what I ordered EXCEPT they don't fit my car. They are now hassling me on the whole return process and telling me they are making me pay a $20.00 per tire "re-stock" fee and won't waive it, even though they made a mistake. This has fraud written all over it/possibly theft. Their websites return process isn't even working correctly for me, their customer service agents on the phone are throwing me in circles. As of right now, the business has done nothing to resolve this issue, except for frustrating me further.Business Response

Original order number: ******* Tires were advertised as having 45k mileage warranty and were installed by ********* via their affiliated installed process. After about half that many miles, their installer ********* advised me that the tires are no longer safe and should be replaced ASAP. I reached out to SimpleTire to create a warranty request on January 14, 2023 and after providing multiple sets of pictures and inspection reports provided by their installer, *********, this warranty request still has not been resolved. I have provided all the information and documentation needed to satisfy the warranty claim based on SimpleTire's responses and policy. I have followed up via email multiple times since January and keep being told that they are waiting on someone else. Over 8 months have passed and still no resolution. As the tires were so worn out that they became a safety issue, I had to replace them at my own cost as I could not wait 8 months for SimpleTire to replace them. I would like the cost of the tires refunded or credited for a future set of tires.Business Response

On 8/11/23 ordered 4 ****** tires. Policy stated guarantee 5 day delivery.8/19-no tires. Called SimpleTire. They do not know why tires haven't shipped. Say they will call me 8/21 when logistics is in.8/21 - no call 8/21 - I call. No idea why tires haven't shipped. Waiting to hear from Logistics. Call back. On December 21, 2022, I purchased online from Simple Tires 4 brand new tires at less that is what the salesman told me. My first experience was on 7/21/23. the back passenger tires start set up big air bubbles, I contract simple tires and explain the problem what was going on with the tires, so they replace that tire. Now I fille another claims on August 29, 2023, explaining to them that these tires on the front and back driver side have also set up air bubbles. therefore, now it's two more tires that are bad and haven't been replaced. Now it's September 6, 2023, I took my car to the ***** Dealership at ***************************** in Richardson, Tx. Me (********) and my service technician (******)at ************. We call simple tires explaining that the tires are bad, and they are putting their client life and her children in jeopardy. Then simple tires wanted ***** dealership to take the tires off the rim and take picture to see if it was road hazard damages, then ***** said No and explain to simple tires now they are going to make the dealership liable if they take them tires off rim and also put their client lives in so much danger because they are not replacing them tires. I have a warranty and simple tires don't want to honor it unless they get pictures of the tires and denied my claim. I'm a single mother with two daughter and I just went back to work, and I haven't got paid so I can afford to buy more tires at this point. With all the problem that I am having with these tires I believe that they were already damage or return tires and they sold them to me as new tires. All I want is for simple tires to send and replace my tires with new tires. I paid for extra warranty, or they can just refund me back my money.Business Response

The customer purchased tires from us in December 2022, including our Road Hazard Protection program. This program is offered via our partner company, ******. The customer executed a claim under this coverage, through ******, in July of this year. The customer then executed another claim, through ******, in August of this year. Based on what the customer is saying, ****** is following usual necessary steps to follow through with this claim.
Since this coverage is not directly executed through SimpleTire, we are not able to see any details of the claim or requests made. We would recommend the customer re-connect with ******, and continue the tire replacement claim.Initial Complaint

Purchased a tire in May to replace a tire blown out in an accident so the tires all matched. Within 3 weeks tire started making noise. Took to mechanic who diagnosed it as faulty tire from manufacturing process. Contacted seller and after jumping through their hoops, were eventually provided a replacement. After 40 days of second tire being mounted we noticed a welt on the sidewall. Took to our mechanic who stated this was once again a manufacturing problem. Contacted the company again and was told this was a road hazard and not thri problem. Return policy ended already. So for $100 and then now 4 mount and balances to swap out both defective tires we are $200 into this and have a defective product that they refuse to resolve. Don't trust them, don't buy from them and if you already have inspect the tires weekly prior to return policy ending because after that their scam is complete and we have no recourse except filing a consumer protection claim with the attorney general.Business Response

I had a frustrating experience with SimpleTire. My order had issues with delivery. ******, an employee, was incompetent and unprofessional. Initially, I was told I would get replacement tires, but I decided on a refund due to the inconvenience. When I contacted SimpleTire again, ****** gave me different policies. She said I needed to file a police report for a refund, which made no sense. ****** even told me to file a police report against SimpleTire. She also mentioned a $500 threshold, but my order was only $489. It seemed like these policies were made up to prevent me from getting replacement tires or a refund. SimpleTire's lack of consistency, transparency, and professionalism, especially through ******, is concerning. I expect respect and honesty as a customer. Unfortunately, SimpleTire has shown incompetence and a disregard for customer satisfaction. I advise caution when considering SimpleTire. Their failure to deliver on promises and contradictory policies raise doubts about their commitment to customer service. SimpleTire needs to address these issues promptly and improve the customer experience. My encounter with SimpleTire has been disappointing. Their mishandling of my order and ******'s unprofessional behavior have left me frustrated. I hope sharing my experience will help others be cautious and consider other tire options.Business Response

I purchased five tires from Simple Tire online for a total of $1,845.90. Order Date: January 18, 2023 Order #: ******* I had them mounted and balanced on 3/31/23. The shop noted they had an issue with balancing one of the tires. When driving, it caused a vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 20 mph. I took the vehicle with these tires on a road trip, with this vibration. It should be noted that this is a brand new vehicle with 4,200 miles at this point. Upon return I took the truck to another tire shop on 6/24/23 to get the tires re-balanced due to the vibration experienced throughout the trip. This was an out of pocket cost of $50. They noted they were unable to balance the front right tire, which is where the vibration was coming from. The installer said most likely the tire is out of round, a manufacturer defect. I contacted Toyo Tires via phone about this, and they referred me to Simple Tire where the tires were purchased from. After several back and forth emails, on 7/21/23 Simple Tire stated this is an manufacturer issue and to file a claim with **** Tire. I subsequently contacted **** **** via phone, they instructed me to take the tire to a Toyo distributor in my local area, at my own cost and time, to have them perform a diagnostic test to determine what was already determined by the Tire company on 6/24/23. It was explained that I would have to purchase a new tire, while the local distributor sent the defective tire back to ****. If **** finds an issue with the tire, the local distributor would refund me for the newly purchased tire. I was informed this process could take 2-3 months. I currently still have the faulty tire and I refuse to pay another $358+ for another tire when they should stand behind their product. **I have filed a complaint against both companies.Business Response

The customer purchased tires from us in January 2023, which are currently malfunctioning. Due to the timeframe in question, this would be handled under the manufacturer's warranty. Our agreement with this manufacturer requires this to be handled directly with them, which was communicated to the customer a few days after the initial problem was reported to us.

They sold me a set of defective tires and have been giving me a big run around about returning them.They finally issued return labels about 4 days and speaking with 7 different people there.They are now giving me the run around about my refund after receiving my return tires back.They received them July 24th at 11am and the return policy states they will issue 9a refund within 24 hours and it has been almost 48 hours now and nothing has been done.I tried to contact them today July 26th and the representative I spoke to didn't even try to look into why the refund hasn't been issued at all.They have the worst customer service of any business I have ever delt with.I have spoke with at least 10 people there since my initial purchase and none of them listen to the customer at all!Business Response

On March 25th 2023 I purchased 4 tires.simple tire shipped them to me.one of them was defective. On April 27th I shipped them back to them.they will not give me a refund.they approved the return.ups says they delivered them .they owe me 720.00 and I want it back.Thank youBusiness Response

We are happy to accept the return of these tires. The customer did not use the prepaid return labels we provided, and returned the tires by **** The customer has been unable to provide *** tracking numbers for the tires for us to verify return.
We are still working with our warehouses to see if we are able to locate these specific tires. If and when we are able to verify return delivery of the tires, we will be more than happy to issue the proper refund.
