I was given this card electronically. I used it to purchase something on Amazon, but Amazon told me the card was declined. So, when I look at the card, it wasn't declined. Amazon said I would have to pay for it again, so I told them to cancel the transaction and put the money back on this gift card. That was 5 days ago and Amazon says they cancelled the transaction. Gift Card Granny won't take the pending charges off. There's no way to contact the company. Amazon says it's up to them, but they don't seem to give anyone a way to contact them. I feel like 5 days is a really long time to have a pending charge on my account. I am concerned that Gift Card Granny is a scam and they stole the money. I want a refund. I am not including specifics about the card out of fear of it being stolen. I have all the documentation.

Thank you for your recent review and apologies for this unfortunate occurrence. We have had one of our agents reach out to you to address your recent card use with Amazon. The charge was pending and had not been completed or voided by the merchant. We have subsequently rechecked your card and can see they revered the transaction and you have managed to use the returned bunds. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

I purchased a gift certificate for a friend in the amount of $200 to Lands End through Gift card Granny but he never received it. I used their chat line and they agreed that they would send again. They never did. They say that there is a valid gift certificate listed but they never send contrary to what they say .l The directions are a run around that never goes anywhere. They never send the gift certificate and I want a refund of $200. They are a fraud because the directions that they send you take you in a circle never resulting in any resolution. I see that there are many complaints like mine on Yelp. I wish I had red them prior to purchasing mine on line.

ON November 27,2023 seven charges were put on my Citi Bank Master Card ending with(the originas cards have been destroyed) **** Each one was for $255,95 to a company named Granny Gift card. These charges were posted around 130pm to my credit card. Immediately Citi Mastercard froze this account knowing these charges to be fraud. It is four months since this happened and I have paid the minimum payment each month for December 2023,January2024,February 2024 and now March 2024.On March 14,2024 I files a Police complaint ****** ************ with the La Crosse Police department. I tried to make a purchase of egift cards for payment to participants that participated in a focus group for a nonprofit. Upon purchase the transaction went through, about an hour later I saw the bank flagged the purchase with gift card granny as fraud (understandable I'll call the bank and rectify) once we saw the refund process pending I went ahead and attempted the reorder of those egift cards and got a message saying that my account has been stopped from making any further transactions. I don't understand why. We're a nonprofit and trying to get participants paid. If the refund was processed on both ends no harm no foul done. Let me purchase a new amount of gift cards I have already made the bank aware of the transaction due to occur of 687.20. I don't understand why Gift Card Granny is blocking my account from any further transactions if I didn't do anything wrong. It is tough to get a hold of someone sometimes and it its ridiculous.

On feb 10 2024 i placed an order for a $100 gift card from Giftcard granny.com. today is feb 27 and I still have not received the gift card. The order confirmation email sent to me has a tracking feature that allows me to track the shipping via the order # on the companys own wrbsite, but i was not provided a usps tracking # so usps wasnt able to assist me. For over a week now i have been trying to reach the company to tell them about this and to either get a replacement card issued or get a refund. But the company's chat feature is a useless, endless loop, their help page is useless, and their support phone number is a dead end loop. I just need someone from the company to please contact me so that my order issue can be resolved. My order # is shown in one of the two docs i have attached. It is one thing to have bad customer service, but when customer service seems to not even exist......

The company accepted a gift card purchase on Nov, 28,1023 and January 9, 2024 in the amount of $200.00 each and was charged to my PayPal account. I notified both the company and PayPal that this was FRAUD as I never purchased anything from them. The never credited the $400.00 back into my PayPal account. I notified the several times but they did nothing and then someone tried to again tried to purchase a gift card but was denied by PayPal.

Upon review we can see the only completed transaction was on Nov 28th (attached). The transaction you are referring to on Jan 9th was canceled and it was for $200 not $400 as per your BBB complaint. This too was canceled and not processed.
You also disputed a $200 Transaction which Paypal ruleed in favor of Gift Card Granny. Aside from that we have not captured any additional funds and as requested the account has been deleted and blocked.
We are extremely empathetic to anyone who is a victim of fraud and unauthorized orders. It is highly recommended you take drastic actions to cancel / delete the compromised Paypal account or directly engage with PayPal to obtain guidance on how you can eliminate your account from being used fraudulently. I will gladly make myself avaialble for any questions or discussion you wish to have on this reply.

On 1/13/2024, I was caught in a phone scam while attempting to get help from EBay on an issue that I had with one of their sellers. The fraudster remotely accessed my phone, and attempted to purchase gift cards from this company along with others using various tenders. I was able to have all of them stopped except for one for $150, which came from this company, Gift Card Granny. My bank informed me I would have to have them refund my money as it was technically stolen through their company, and not through the bank, which makes sense. I alerted Gift Card Granny that the gift card was fraud, and to return my money through their online process, which they refused. I attempted again a second time through their online portal with a more detailed explanation, and they still refused to refund the money. Figuring I would just settle for keeping the gift card if they were going to be obstinate about it, I checked the value on the gift card, which now has been zeroed out, and asked for a refund once again, or to just give me the gift card with the full value on it since I'm tired of this process, and they still refused. I didn't get any pushback from any other retailers or my card carriers about this issue, but these guys basically are okay with me getting robbed using their service, and I won't stand for that. I want my money returned to my original tender as it is fraud.

The sad part in this is that I alerted this company BEFORE the funds on the gift card were used so them using that as a way out of refunding it is false. They simply don’t want to take care of people, and don’t care. It’s okay, though, I have contacted my bank, and will work with them to resolve this. I will not give Gift Card Granny the chance to fix it anymore, and please leave my review of them as no stars/terrible/awful, or whatever you see fit. I will also work online to warn others about these thieves.

Bought a gift card for a friend and she can’t use it- the phone activation won’t allow a pin to be set, the card cannot ve added to her wallet, when she tries to get a physical card (it says this is an option) it won’t accept her address. No one answers the telephone calls, the chat is an endless circle of nothing, and the emails aren’t answered. Clearly a scam.

The purchase attempts were failing because of restricted countries and purchase attempts over the value of the card (insufficient funds).

A gift card was gifted to me through Gift Card Granny for $100. When I attempt to access the link using the e-mail address at which the gift card was sent, I receive a message that "There was a problem! Not found. We are unable to locate that gift." There is a residual gift card balance on the card of $39.75. When I attempt to call customer service, I am informed that Gift Card Granny cannot address merchant gift cards, and the automated message hangs up. I cannot access the gift card through the link to receive the residual balance, and there is no other method of resolution to access the gift card amount.
