      In September I signed up for a program with Green Lawn and the sales guy stated it did not auto renew. They applied their winter treatment program and I was not happy with the results. I received an e-mail on November 16th stating that my service would auto renew and I was perplexed as it was not supposed to. I called in November to cancel service as I was not happy with it. The girl I spoke to said they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and they would come back out and reapply but they had to keep my account open in order to provide this. Sometime in the spring a person came to my door to apply something. I asked him if this was part of the 100% satisfaction and free. He said he wasn't sure and would go back and check as I did not want him doing anything else. A few weeks later someone had come while we were not home and applied a treatment and left a bill on the door and it was zero dollars. A few week later someone else came and applied a treatment and then I had a bill. I called to ask why I was being charged as I called to cancel and this should be part of the 100% guarantee. They said it was not and it was the auto renew for spring treatment. I stated how I called to cancel in November and I did not ask for this Spring treatment to be done. They refuse to remove the balance. I cancelled service and I even turned them away when I was home stating I don't want it unless it is part of the 100% guarantee. I should not be responsible for their mistakes or their system keeping me active when I cancelled service. I would like the $65 and change removed from my account and the account closed.

      We pre paid for 6 months of tick applications for our lawn. We were told that all applications were applied with ride on machine and not with extreme rain. We were additionally told that they guaranteed their services and they would re spray if we found ticks after a spray. The first spray occurred a few hours before several days of torrential run off rain. A few days later our dogs had ticks embedded in them as well as a family member. We immediately called. It took approximately a week for the re spray to occur. we asked for a refund. They pledged to fix it. They sprayed for our 2nd month with no issues. 3rd month they came AGAIN in heavy rain to spray. Additionally they tried to spray w a hand tool. We were told that this is how they spray and that the riding machine was not what they used. They scheduled another spray The tech left without spraying. We asked for another refund when we were told they would not spray w the machine. ******************* called on 6/20 and stated I would get a refund to my credit card in 24-48 hours after the call. I have no refund. The office is stating they will only send a check snail mail on 30th of every month. They are not a company of their word. Their service is shoddy , inconsistent , unreliable and doesn't work. And they have stated Id get a refund and still do not have it.

      Constant phone harassments trying to solicit business from me. I have asked them several times to opt-out of all marketing, but they claim there is no record and they "Will send my info to leadership to reach out and rectify the situation" but that never takes place, they just keep harassing me on the phone to solicit business from me. Dates I requested them to stop calling me- TODAY 6/6/2023 at 2:59pm ET call came in from them on their phone line of ************** *Their name does pop up on the phone ID). 5/23/2023 at 4:10pm ET call received from this same phone number listed above. Asked them to stop calling me and that I do not want to do business with them, their response was "This has been documented and you will not get more calls" which was completely false.I have asked them before this to stop calling me, but I do not have those dates in front of me.Please make them stop breaking the law when it comes to phone harassment.

      Is the phone number we are calling different than what is listed in this case? Nothing is coming up in our CRM for the phone number, email or address listed. We do not buy any phone numbers so if it's not in our CRM I do not see how we would call it. If I can find the record we are calling from I will make sure that it is marked appropriately as do not call.

      Two lawn application services were performed in March 27, 2023 and April 26, 2023.In April 2023, I notified the Green Lawn professional that I did not renew service for 2023. I had received several postal mail prior to March 2023 for renewal offers and did not sign up for. Apparently, in March 2023, after the first application, that same person had handed the service summary to "someone" who opened the front door and that means that I agree to renew the service for 2023. I clarified that person who opened the door was not me and he agreed to that as well. He told me that he would notify of the request to cancel service.On May 2nd, I answered their call re: past due balance and I also explained my conversation with the person at my home on April 26th to cancel the service. Shortly after speaking to that person on the phone, I received an email on May 2nd to collect on "past due balance". See attachment including my reply.Furthermore, my wife had mentioned that she had actually cancelled the service in 2022 around the 5th or 6th application but she was told that the 2022 service was 100% prepaid and we had to continue the service.Since May 2nd, on several occasions, I have received calls and voicemails to collect despite having attempted to cancel in 2022; notifying the person to cancel who performed the service on April 26; spoken on the phone on May 2nd; and replied to the collection email. The harassment has to stop!

      Initially was contacted by ***** ****** late August and signed up for Aeration/Seeding/Weed Treatment Fall program which he indicated would be approximately $7xx. They indicated they would be there early fall as the ground needs to be the proper temperature for germination/fertilizing, and had my appointments cancelled twice to the point where when they finally performed the aeration/seeding, the ground was nearly frozen. I was told they would readdress the issue in the spring given there was little to any growth. I called in February giving them adequate time to schedule me in so they would go on site when the grounds were appropriate temps. Little did I know, they decided to charge me in March and April an additional $63.xx for services I never agreed to, and of course, they waited when it was too hot to perform the aeration and seeding. My lawn still looks bad, and I'm out north of $8xx after they charged me for services I never agreed to, and provided services that certainly did not achieve the results they indicated would by seen.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was refunded only the service charges they should have never charged in the first place (approximately $128) which I filed a chargeback with my credit card, so not due to any effort by them.

      Their "retention" guy spoke to me, indicated they would stop by the property which of course never happened. I'm still out well over $700 and my lawn looks like it was never serviced to begin with.

      Account number: ******* I paid for this service on an annual basis for one year last year in 2022. I told the company at the time I did not want to renew my service. I also called before the season started this yea and asked them not to renew. They came out and provided a service at a house. I no longer lived in and are now charging me $78 for that service. I have made three phone calls and sent three emails. I have not been able to resolve this issue and I am never able to speak to a manager at this company to help me Resolve this issue. I never asked to renew my service and I canceled twice yet. This company still providing me with a service I did not approve and canceled last year yet they are still insisting I owe them money. They are now threatening to turn me into a collection agency. Are you able to assist me in resolving this issue?

      I used Green Lawn Fertilizing from 2016 to Present. My first experience was fine, the grass was looking ok. During last year their service completely degrated. I started getting a large amount of weeds and bare patches in my lawn. I called them numerous times and they stated they would send someone out for an additional service, but my lawn still looking terrible. I called them on May 3rd, 2023 and requested the call from manager so we can discuss what Green Lawn will do to remedy this situation. I was told that the manager will call me ASAP, nobody did. On May 4th I called again and was promised to be contacted. I was not contacted as of today. Green Lawn needs to stand up to their commitments and remediate the problem with my loan, preferably using another company.

      Greenlawn Fertilzing performed an aerating and seeding on my lawn last September and no grass appeared. I got better results when my granddaughter scattered grass seed. They wanted to charge me in excess of $400. When the first application did not work, they came back and did it again and still no grass to this day!I've been harassed by Greenlawn and bill collectors numerous times to pay for service that did not work. This is affecting my credit score. Every time I call, which sometimes takes a long time to get a person on the phone, I am assured it will be taken care of and no one will bother me again. I've asked repeatedly to speak to someone in senior management as the customer service reps have no power to make this go away. Again, lies and no resolution. I have spent many hours of my time on this matter. I should be getting free lawn services for the rest of my life based on how lousy I've been treated by this company.I am still getting harassed by the debt collection agency. I am still getting letters, even phone calls on a Sunday. I want a written confirmation that the debt collection agency has been notified to wipe out my balance ASAP.Since I would chrage $150/hour to do consultling and I spent at least 10 hours on his mess, I want a check for $1500 in addition to free lawn service.

      On 11/28/2022, we went outside to our front yard and found a sign stuck in our grass from "Green Lawn Fertilizing" indicating they had just fertilized our grass. We never heard of this company let alone contracted services from this company. The sign they left says "Thank you for choosing Green Lawn Fertilizing, we were here today to service your lawn. Please stay off lawn until dry and see specific instructions on your invoice". Clearly this company is a scam and uses fraudulent and unethical practices in an attempt to market their company and extract money from unsuspecting homeowners by trespassing on their property, using chemicals on their lawns without permission, and then fraudulently invoicing them. I contacted this company on 11/30/2022 to complain about what happened and they used the same excuses that are used throughout all the other complaints reported to BBB. They indicated that they do not have an active account with my address or phone number, and said the person treating the lawns must have inadvertently gone to the wrong home and treated the wrong lawn. I asked them if they had anyone in their system with the name of my street, and they indicated they did not. Therefore, there was no way they could treat the wrong lawn, and even if they did, this is not an excusable offense and is unacceptable. I then let them know if I find out later that they damaged my lawn, I will sue them in court for trespassing and for damages related to my lawn, as well as damages related to physical harm to my family, due to the chemicals used.

      The practice of servicing a noncustomer and then soliciting payment is not a business practice we have ever used nor would ever use, as this is completely unethical. As for the sign in **** ******’s lawn, we have completed due diligence and reviewed our customer base as well as our fleet monitoring software to determine if this property was serviced in error. On Monday November 28th   we had no service vehicles in Middletown Delaware. The last time we serviced that area of Delaware was a week earlier on Monday November 21st . On Monday November 21st we performed a potassium application to a customer located at **** ***** ******* **** Middletown, DE ***** which is located within **** ******s neighborhood.  The fleet monitoring software displays the vehicle parked at this address; and we don’t believe **** ******’s lawn was completed in error.  The application applied to **** ***** ******* ****, as mentioned earlier was potassium, an essential lawn nutrient and not a chemical.
