I purchased a 4" ****** Ladder from Menards in 2021. Stored it in my basement It is livable away from the elements. I noticed it has some material defects on some parts of the ladder. I reached out to Werner twice and ****. H was quick to dismiss the case. After I came back from vacation I then reached out to her. They had all the pictures, Model numbers, and Serial numbers they needed. I told her the ladder hadn't been used I just purchased it because it was on sale. She only emailed me the place it was stored, and the date it was manufactured, they had a two-year warranty on it but they don't stand by their word. I purchased a Werner 28 extension ladder from Lowes on 12/07/2021. The next day while using the ladder for the first time I found that one of the locking mechanisms was malfunctioning. It would not allow the ladder to retract. I had to lower the ladder to the ground while fully extended. I attempted to contact Werner to ask them for a replacement part. It took them 19 days to reply to my email. Werner then stated that I needed to purchase my own replacement part. They did not care that their ladder was dangerous and defective and refused to replace a part caused by a manufacturing defect.
