1 starI rented a vehicle from Allied Car & Truck Rental for a 9 day stay in ***********. On about the 4th day my vehicle died. It took a full day from morning to nightfall to get a replacement vehicle. My family and I had to rent an extra large uber to get us to our next reservation in time or lose out on hundreds of dollars for the ziplining excursion we had booked. Not only this, but weeks after our trip I received and extra charge from Allied Car & Truck rental for almost $2000. The bill simply says "ESTIMADO ******* (VER NOTAS)" with zero notes attached. I have tried to call and contact someone to give me a refund and have been given the run around over and over again. I am now contacting the Allied Car & Truck Rental Corporation to pursue a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Review fromOrlando C

1 starThe division they have as (routes car rental)we rented a car there for two days, the contract said it was a jeep and they came up with ******* suv because the person that rented the jeep lost the key and they told me that the person that lost the key on the jeep will be charged ******** and it ended up that when I returned the ******* after 3 days they charged ******** because I lost the key of the jeep, and of course I immediately called and explained the whole situation, they said that I would see the charged back on my card in 3 days that It never happened so I called again and did my claim, they told me the samething, that in 3 days I would see my money on my card something that never happened, so Finally my wife called the *********** and *********** send me the money back but not the whole amount, I still need to have another $250.00 back and did the claim one more time and so far nothing happened yet. So I do not recomend this company to anybody, the worst service ever, the worst costumer service ever (except for one employee his name is *******, great person and very kind) with this review I am just letting route know that I will fight for my money untill tireness and more. I want my money back!!!!Review fromAngel L

1 starThis place is a rip off. They add all types of charges to your contract. They make you wait hours and hours for your pick up even with a reservation. Staff rude and disrespectful. The vehicles are damage and in terrible condition. This company should be inspected as the brakes on these vehicle are worn and safety of driver is at risk.Review fromEnrique G

1 starAllied does not tell you exactly what the charges are when you put in your own insurance and refuse theirs. Because our car is ****, we were charged $457.76. $207.76 was for the Expres and insurance. We only got $250 after they said we were getting the whole amount back because it was a hold. If your car is not an up to date car like theirs youre going to be charged an arm and a leg. They never told us this. I had to call twice and have my daughter on three way call with them to make sure what they were saying to me was making sense. The young lady, ******** said that Priceline rents car in one cost and the store which is Allied has a different cost. Never disclosed and explained the terms of rental process. Im very disappointed. If I could give them less than that one star I would. Never again will I make business with them. Scammers. I wonder if the other folks that morning we rented had this same issue.Review fromKay D

1 starSCAM---I had a rental with Priceline from March 17th - March 20th. I was charged $250 march 23rd. TWO DAYS AFTER the car was dropped off, in the SAME condition we picked it up in. I called and was told it was a deposit and I would receive my refund back in 10 days. Every time I called after 10 days I was told call back the next day. There is no manager on duty. I tried to email the business via their email address on their website, it did not work. I have messaged in English and Spanish for assistance or an explanation via their "contact us" on their website - no response. This was a rental through Priceline so I did not question not getting a receipt.Review fromLydia D

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I rented through Expedia (paid in full.) I received a car a damaged car. I came back and they fixed it. Used the car for 3 days, returned it and did not get a receipt I assumed that it was because I had booked through Expedia. I received my credit card bill and noticed that I was charged ******. I called them for an explanation. The employee took my reservation number. He asked me to confirm the reservation number three times. He then stated that I was charged for the extra items I got. I explained that I didn't get anything extra and that I wanted a receipt for the extra items he was claiming I got. He hung up on me. I called back FIVE times. The first few times they picked up the phone and hung it up. The last few times they just let it ring.Allied Car & Truck Rental, Inc.

Good morning BBB Team,
We received your case for rental agreement #****** and it was verified with our accounting department and the charges are correct.
Please note that she purchased incrementals at the counter such as; Tolls, Activation fees for the tolls, RSA,Add driver, CDW (Collision Dmg Waiver) and the taxes for these. These were not included on her prepaid reservation and that is the reason she had an additional charge. In regards to the unit that we gave ******************* it was a ******* Elantra 2023 with only ***** miles and it was in perfect conditions.
We apologize for any confusion.
Sincerely,

1 starAllied Car Rentals is a SCAM!! They tried to charge me an extra $400 3 DAYS AFTER I LEFT. I called and asked for an explanation and they said my reservation was canceled and we agreed upon a different rate, TOTAL LIE. I wouldn't have been able to pick up my car had it been canceled. I had my receipt and so I asked for one of the charges, it was the SAME receipt with the SAME charges, just at COMPLETELY different rates. They also sent me someone else's receipt with their HOME ADDRESS and PERSONAL INFO. The billing department has been ignoring my emails since I told them this and asked for an explanation as to why they are trying to charge me more than we agreed upon. On 3-18-2023 we rent a car on Allied Car Rental at *********. Our contract number was ******. When we made the reservation we choose an economy car which was a ****** Corolla or comething similar. We received an old ******* Accent that was not in optimal conditions. That was the only available car there so we had to take it. The day before the return the engine light turn on and a burn odor was smelles. I called the company and were there like an hour waiting the decission of your company to pick up the car. The employee told me to drive the car like that to the rental office because ther was not a towing available. I told the lady that I would drive the car lik that to the rental office but the responsibility would be on her and the supervisor. When we arrived at rental office the supervisor check the car and erase with a computer the engine light. He explained us about some mechanical issues. I had to continued with the car because there was not any car available to change. Next day the engine light turned on again and we returned the car. Also I used the toll label one day but has been charged for the remaining days of the rental because is a companys policy to do it. How would you charge 7 days of tall when we used just one day? This is a very shame way to take persons money. With this experience we will not rent anymore a car form Allied and Priceless. The experience was very bad since the beggining of the process.Allied Car & Truck Rental, Inc.

1 starTravelers be cautious! If I can give zero stars I would. Arrived at reception and employee was sleeping in back office, after 15 minutes waiting she came to the front and stated person in charge is out of the office and would return soon. We waited for over 1 hour. When the employee shows up he advised me that the reservation was canceled by allied because we didn’t arrive by scheduled time of pick up, this was due to a flight delay. I was offered a new rental but I had to book through online booking only. The catch, the price would be doubled from $700 to almost $1,200. for the same car and dates. We had to take an Uber to our destination, we were informed by the Uber driver that many rental car companies are doing the same thing to tourists and visitors. The next day while picking up my rental I was told that the insurance was an additional cost of almost $450. and no other options are offered. Most travelers are not even aware that their CC offered rental insurance and I witnessed two young travelers being asked to pay the additional insurance coverage instead of being advised that the CC may offer rental coverage. And purchasing coverage through online sites is not acceptable by the rental companies. Luckily I was able to get a new rental through another car company for the next day for $350.00 for the 8 days and I had to email a copy of the CC insurance coverage to avoid pay the additional $450. Insurance coverage they offer.
