Rebath-HIP Contruction is one of the worst *** to deal with on 08/15/23 they contact me and stated that the financing with Service Finance has expired and had to be redone over due to it being past 6 months. They trying to charge us for 50% cancellation fee and custom ordered materials, which I know are not and can be purchased at any local store(s). They are trying to charge us for a contract fee that they need to get back from ********** that was getting contracts for them. I decided to cancel as per the notice of right of rescission from the loan company with in the 3 business days after they called to reschedule us and stated the permit ran out and stated we gave them 5 weeks' notice as per their policy they need 4 weeks to book and come out to do the job. They secretary "***** demanded we change our days off for them to come back out in September. I stated it is not that easy to reschedule our day off of work. This is not the first time the secretaries were not professional with us. We notified all parties via phone, emails (The loan company and Rebath, ***********). We emailed a copy of the signed notice of right of rescission signed and dated 08/18/23 to ************** at *****, ***********. I than received texts mess. regarding that they will charge us above if we no longer go forward with the project and We should have cancelled with *******. That is not what the contract stated I had 3 business days to cancel. If I had to apply for the Load than the NOTICE OF RIGHT TO CANCEL APPLIES. This is terrible they take advantage of the customer like this. Signed: ****

The facts given here are not correct. Here are the actual facts that can be backed up with contracts signed by the *********** A Contract to remodel their bathroom was signed 9/18/2021 (2 years ago)2) per the signed contract, we ordered all of the customers materials of which, most were special ordered for their project.3) 9/27/21- all permits were applied and paid for 4) 11/17/21, all of the customers materials have arrived and we started calling to set up an installation date.5) We made many calls and left many voice messages that went unanswered.6) We finally made contact with the customer and they told us they were having windows installed and were not ready for us to go in yet, asked us to call them back in 1 month.7) per the customers request, we waited 1 month and called them again to set up installation. again, it took many calls and voice messages before getting a hold of the customer again. When we did finally make contact, we were told once again, their windows were not done yet and to call them back in a few months,8) This cycle kept happening until 7/17/23 when we finally get the customer to agree to an install date, They requested that we come on 8/23/23.9) Now that we finally got their install on the schedule (2 years after they signed a contract), we had to have them re-sign their loan paperwork due to it expiring because it took so long to get them on the schedule. 10) We also had to re-apply for the permits due to it also expiring because they were open for 2 years.11) We did explain all of this to the customer, but they still wanted to cancel 12) We did explain that we were more than accommodating to their time line, but they are still responsible for all our costs incurred for their project such as special order materials, permit fees and etc. This is all spelled out in the contract they signed on 9/18/2021
