      ***** (owner of Grandscapes) installed a small paver patio on my new home back in September 2020. Six months after install a few of the outer pavers fell away and needed to be repaired. He fixed expediently. I have a outdoor shower that is on the patio. ***** told me he could put gravel etc under the shower and make the pavers with a small gap to allow the water to reach the gravel and create a sort of french drain. I did not get a chance to install the shower enclosure the first year in the house, and over the winter (shower was never used) the pavers fell in on themselves. Thankfully no one was around when it happened and no one fell on them. I contacted ***** again, he eventually sent one of his guys out to fix the pavers. Telling me at the time that it was not his fault, it was the fault of my builder who did not do a good job of backfilling my yard. Installed the enclosure summer on 2021 and have been using shower in the summer since. Early this summer i noticed the water was pooling up when showering. Then noticed the pavers right outside the shower were starting to sink. Especially right outside the rear slider door the pavers are the worst. Stopped all showers for fear they might collapse. Started leaving messages for ***** in June 2024. Spoke to his secretary 6-8 times at least. She promised he has my messages. To date, even after leaving a message on his Cell phone no return call from ***** to address the issue. I am not looking for a free fix, just want it fixed so it is not a danger any longer. Months of messages, NO RETURN call, nothing. Talked to a few others who have used him and learning this is not a single instance of him not returning calls. ******...

      My crew excavated 12" of soil, compacted the bottom of the excavation, placed and compacted 8" 3/4" stone and then installed pavers on a 3/8" stone setting bed.  That is the standard procedure for all paver installations.  After a period of time ************ contacted my office and let us know there had been some settling on his patio.  The patio had sunk several feet in places due to the excavation contractor not properly backfilling around his foundation, septic tank and deck footings.  I mentioned this to ************ and told him I would fix the problem even though I felt it was the responsibility of the excavation contractor.  After the repair there was more settling and again I came back and repaired it.  At that point I told Mr. **** that this was a problem out of my control and I felt I had done due diligence to resolve the issue and any further repairs should be the excavating contractors responsibility.
