Visited ClearChoice center in *************** for consultation for implants and snap on dentures. They went back and forth with me on the price and plan, which I did not eventually sign and agree to (they emailed it to me). Furthermore, my doctor did not consent to medical clearance due to my health condition and they will not leave me alone. They are using scare tactics and calling me incessantly refusing to reimburse my $1,000.Business Response

I went in to the Clear Choice dental implant office for a free consultation On December 18th 2024. I met ******* and the *** I watched a video then she submitted my info to see if I would be approved for a loan. Very rushed process. Was approved and pressured to sign the loan. On December 19th 2024 I contacted ************ and I spoke to a *** who told me I needed to contact the provider and request a full refund which I did as soon as I hung up with her. I have a recorded conversation of her telling me they needed at least 10 business to confirm that I requested the refund. I requested the amount of $18,000 be returned to the Lender. I didn't hear anything from neither provider or lender after that. I was under the impression the refund would be made no further action was needed from me. On Jan 9, 2025 I noticed on my credit report that there is a balance on this loan of $1,000. I contacted the lender on this day and was informed that Clear Choice refunded only $17,000 for services rendered, I asked the lender to send me a copy of the statement they had been sent. I received the statement on Jan 14, 2025 from the Lender, I emailed ******* at Clear Choice and asked about the balance, she replied that the money had been refunded and the loan was cancelled on their end.. I then told her the lender reported a missed payment on my Credit report. She then replies that the charge is for prosthetic exam, I never had an exam done. Notice on the statement is showing a price of $200.. for this exam. Several Days later, I received an email from ******* stating she was going to talk to the ** to see if there was anything they could do. I didnt hear anything back until I told her I would be disputing the charges with the BBB. She responded with the *** would be comfortable with lowering the charge to $500. Not only did the amount change but their reason for keeping the $1000 did as well. Ive attached the emails to showBusiness Response

In early 2024, I received an invitation letter from ***************** ******, DMD,MSD, Prosthodontist of Clear Choice Dental Implant Center at ******************************************** to come in to the center for a complete and free consultation for any dental work I needed to have done. I did so and I met with Dr. ****** and his assistant ******* and I explained in complete detail the problems I was having with both upper and lower dentures, i.e. Upper was very loose and I have had to use Fixodent paste 2 and 3 times a day, every day to hold it in place and for eating. The lower denture was also unstable causing sore and swollen gums from time to time and I have had to constantly use salt water, orajel and other gum medicine to soothe the pain and discomfort. Upon a comprehensive examination with x-rays and looking into my mouth, etc. he told me that I did not have enough suction in the upper denture and with an improved model, the problem would not exist. As for the lower, he promised a better ***************. I was given a tour of the facility which was impressive and I thought this may work. I decided to go ahead with the work in March of 2024 - Dr. ****** had retired by that time, so other dentists proceeded with making a new set, (upper and lower denture) for me. I have had absolutely no satisfactory result with either, exactly the same situation I had experienced with my old dentures and I have had to revert to all the steps mentioned during the first visit, to be able to use them. I cannot function without using paste, orajel, gum medicine, salt water, etc on a daily basis so I am right back where I started. The current dentists at Clear Choice, especially Dr. **** made several adjustments to both dentures in the following months when they decided they can do nothing more to fix the problem. Why was I put through this ordeal if the original Doctor knew that he could not produce what was promised? Was it just for the money?? I want a 50% refund.Business Response

My husband had full dental implant procedure back in September 2024 for which we were required to pay in full up front. His health deteriorated and he passed away January 2025 without completing the procedure. Clear Choice agreement clearly states that if the procedure is not completed the client will be entitles for a refund of the unused portion of the payment.Since a few days after he passed away I have been contacting (constantly leaving messages because I can not actually speak to anyone but the receptionist) the office in *********** and they have done nothing but give me the run around. After leaving approximately 10 messages I finally received a call from the office manager (*****) who told me that a check would be issued by their home office and sent to me. This was around the 25th. of January, as of today I have not received the check nor can I get someone to return my calls. They are very unprofessional.Business Response

I went to clear choice dental seeking a solution for what very few bottom teeth first of year 2024. I already wore a top denture. They quoted me $53,000 for top and lower implants. I told them that was not feasible for me as I was on Ssi and small mention from the state that only gross me about $1500 a month. They suggested a lower implant and new better fitting dentures for $18,000 and said they could get me a reasonable payment plan. They assured me that would ALL they would charge for the COMPLETE process from beginning to end. I got the procedure done and they could only get 3 screws in and at that time placed a temporary implant and sent me home to heal on soft diet. Next step was doing last s**** and at the time they made another implant which I THOUGH was my permanent one. Again sent home to heal on soft diet. I hated the new implant and went back to get it adjusted and they told me they could not adjust a temporary implant. I then asked when I would get my final one and she got on computer and said final payment had not been made. I said the lady had assured me several times that is all I would have to pay. At this time she leaves room to get the one that does the financial part and set up for you. She comes back and says she can't see you at this time and will have to call me. They then got very rude with me and excused me like they could care less I was in misery. Needless to say they never called me and they will not take my calls nor return them. I have written a letter to the ceo of ************ site and I have not heard a word from her either. They have basically left me unable to eat or talk correctly and in total miseryBusiness Response

I started 2013 ********* ca. Consultation was great, meet both doctors, both pros, conveyed confidence/empathy. The bone Dr *********** was soon to relocate so followed services to ************ ca. Service was great there, first bridge broke, fixed prompt....Problem Surfacing:.....2nd bridge w/titanum required contouring, after contouring metal showd, dr ****** acts as if it isnt.@ same time decided to go zarconia.........Problem Begins: 2 temporary bridges in, I requestd aesthetic adjustment to Dr ******* Please K9 teeth a little longer. NEW ZARCONIA arrives, fit well, color good, great, same bridge which was great, still great. No K9 adjustment, no problem. He offers me a 1000 refund, only if I sign a release from his office. In turn, I was Totally released from care in the whole clear choice network, 30day after I got the zarconia. ETHICAL. My calls were screened/blocked/ denied. I am healthy, but if I had an complications I could have died. Most dental offices are hesitant to provide service when you have implants done by others. I would like to be reinstated, i would like to know how Dr ****** could act in a manner detrimental to health, and recipient have no recourse. Consultation March 2022- high pressured sales tactic is what it felt like. Have to do now or you will never be able to get them due to bone loss. Payment discussion: ****** financed for 6 years the pay final $6k. No one told me it was 22% interest. I would not have done it. Although I signed a paper that said Permanent set would not be put in until $6 k was paid, my son who was with me also said that was not what we were told. No one mentioned a permanent set would not be made April 6, 2022surgery 4 months later-follow up. That is when they mentioned phase 2, permanent set to be put in. But needed the 6K. I told them thats not what we agreed to and thats when they showed me the paper I signed so then I proceeded with if that is true then why ask me to come for permanent knowing I had to wait 6 years before I could start paying on the 6k and they told me well some ppl wear the temporary set for up to 2 years. I basically got scammed into doing this. March / April 2024 major pain. Failed implant. They took off nearly whole side to let it heal then added one or 2 teeth but didnt want to add another s**** Went to office and they called finance place and instead of paying off what I owed for them to open up new account for 14% interest they just paid them off and had them reopen a new account and reimburse everything I had paid. It made no sense but again they did it so fast that I was rushed and by the time I got down the hwy on my 2 hour drive home, I called and asked them why didnt they just take out a loan for what I owed and add the $6 to it so it wouldnt be 10 years to get paid. I only had 3 years to go plus the $6. Now I have 10. Yes I can put in what I was reimbursed but not going to lower payments. June 2024 Went to appointment and they did nothing. Said they were sorry I drove all this way and turned me out the door. July 2024 -permanent set. Horrible. Cried entire visit. They didnt care. S**** was showing. Kept trying to sell me on it. Horrible.Business Response

On February 14 2023 ************************** extracted health healthy teeth in the front of my lower jaw as well as the molars. Telling me it would cost the same as doing the back teeth only and I would have a better smile and look because my teeth were uneven. Then only placed the implants to replace the front teeth. She has refused a registered letter from me asking for my records until she was ordered to do so by the ******************* in ********. *************** has incorrectly placed the rear implants resulting in me being unable to have rear teeth. I have been to two different Doctors who have told me that implants can not include the rear teeth and one has stated that it is due to the positioning by ***************. *************** and her office have refused to answer my calls for the imprints of my teeth for over two months, as well as refusing a certified letter, for the same thing. Demanding that I sign a release signed before I could get them. I stated that I would sign the release when I came to pick them up. To let me know when I could pick them up. It wasnt until I wrote to the head office in ******** that I was able to get my own implants and records. She may have gotten the requests but did not reply until I filed a complaint with you. The information that Dr ******* requested was for what tool she used to tighten my implants so that could remove the implants to see what needed to be done. The information was not sent to him until after I filled the complaint with you on this matter as well. The list goes on and on with her unwillingness to comply with any requests or to acknowledge them. I have also received two FedX the day after I filed giving me a bills to explain how my money was spent and I still dont have my implants. She has done a botch up job on my implants and wants to drag her feet giving me the information that I will need to proceed with legal recourse. Sorry if this is hard to read I am doing this on my iPad. It has been very difficult. Sincerely *******************Business Response

I had implant surgery at the ********* location 4 months ago. I expressed my concern about my new teeth from the day they were placed. I informed them the teeth were too big and was told its because of swelling. At my 2 week recheck I again informed them the teeth were too big and was told when you return for your 4 month we can fix that. At my 4 month this was not the case. During these 4 months my jaw started popping very hard and would sometimes lock up preventing me from being able to open my mouth big enough to eat. Most days I can barely open my mouth and have to push small bites of food through my lips. They tell me they cant change the aesthetics of the temporary teeth so I have to pay additional money to go into phase 2 and then my teeth can be made smaller. On my original treatment plan it states at my 4 months visit they would take radiograph of implant , remove temp bridge , evaluate/ test implant , verify cosmetics , reseat bridge and only the radiograph was done. All you can see when I talk is bottom teeth and mostly only see bottom teeth when I smile. I didnt look like that when I walked in there and I expect not to look like that now.Business Response
