This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person. They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attatched as well, they are in major violation.

      regarding the referenced account (the “Account”). LVNV Funding LLC (“the Current Owner”) currently
      owns the Account, having acquired it on January 18, 2023. Resurgent Capital Services L.P. (“Resurgent”)
      is the servicer of the Account.

      At Resurgent, we take our customer service and consumer protection obligations very seriously
      and have dedicated significant resources to our compliance-related functions. I have personally reviewed
      ******* *******’s inquiry and believe the following information will address their concerns.

      The Account originated on March 31, 2022 with ****** *** ***** **** The Account charged off
      on December 14, 2022 with a balance of $834.12. No payments have been received on the Account since
      it was acquired by the Current Owner. The current Account balance is $834.12.

      The Account was previously charged off. Charging off an account does not satisfy the debt, nor
      does it affect the customer’s responsibility for the amount owed. If the account is sold, the new owner has
      the right to collect the account.

      With its purchase of the Account, the Current Owner acquired all ownership rights, including the
      rights to collect on the Account and to report to the credit bureaus, if eligible. Currently, this Account is
      being reported to the credit bureaus on behalf of the Current Owner. In accordance with the Fair Credit
      Reporting Act, a request to update the Current Owner’s tradeline for this Account to disputed will be
      submitted to the credit bureaus during the next reporting cycle.

      Resurgent received the electronic dispute that ******* ******* submitted through one of the credit
      bureaus. Resurgent has responded in a timely manner and provided the bureau with information relevant to
      their dispute. We are providing an account summary, terms and conditions, and bill statements on file as
      verification of debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, section 809(15 U.S.C.§
      1692(g)) and applicable state and local requirements. Please note that the bill statements on file show the

      According to my credit reports my information was sold/ transferred to this company without my authorization therefore it was stolen.       I am not aware of this account. I have reached out to 3 credit bureaus and LVNV Funding LLC to have this account removed from my file and they always say the same excuse, which is no longer acceptable. I have filed an FTC complaint because I believed this is an outcome of identity Theft. Regardless of all actions done on my end, there was no action from 3 Bureaus. Thus, I am reaching out to seek assistance to have LVNV Funding LLC that I have no account with them and 3 credit bureaus can simply remove it from my credit.

      ****** *****’s inquiry and believe the following information will address their concerns.

      The first account, account number ****************, reference number *********, originated
      with **** ******* ****** ***** on June 4, 2013. The last payment in the amount of $240.00 was
      received on July 31, 2018. This account charged off on January 29, 2019 with a balance of $11,848.43.
      LVNV acquired this account on October 18, 2022. No payments have been received on this account since
      it was acquired by LVNV. The current account balance is $11,848.43. The credit card application and bill
      statements on file for the account are enclosed for review.

      The second account, account number **************, reference number *********, originated
      with **** ******* ****** ***** on November 25, 2014. This account charged off on February 26, 2019
      with a balance of $5,984.35. LVNV acquired this account on October 18, 2022. No payments have been
      received on this account since it was acquired by LVNV. The current account balance is $5,984.35.

      These accounts were previously charged off. Charging off an account does not satisfy the debt,
      nor does it affect the customer’s responsibility for the amount owed. If the account is sold after being
      charged off, the new owner has the right to collect the account.

      With its purchase of these accounts, LVNV acquired all ownership rights, including the rights to
      collect on these accounts and to report to the credit bureaus, if eligible. Currently, these accounts are
      being reported to the credit bureaus on behalf of LVNV.

      Resurgent received the electronic disputes that ****** ***** submitted through the credit
      bureau(s). Resurgent has responded in a timely manner and provided the bureau(s) with information
      relevant to their disputes; however, ****** *****’s inquiry dated May 26, 2023 is the first direct
      communication, written or otherwise, that Resurgent has received from them regarding the above-
      referenced accounts. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the LVNV tradelines for these
      accounts are being reported as disputed to the credit bureaus. They will continue to report as such
      throughout the permissible reporting period unless new information indicates that the disputes should be

      For the first account (ending in 3438), we are providing the account summary, bill statements, and
      terms and conditions as verification of debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act,
      section 809(15 U.S.C.§ 1692(g)) and applicable state and local requirements. Please note that the address
      on the bill statements through the statement dated November 2021 matches the address ********* *****
      included in their inquiry.

      The second account, account number ****************, reference number *********,
      originated with **** ** ******** on August 4, 2021 and was opened with First Access. The last payment
      in the amount of $120.00 was received on January 4, 2022. This account charged off on June 30, 2022 with
      a balance of $367.50. LVNV acquired this account on July 20, 2022. No payments have been received on
      this account since it was acquired by LVNV. The current account balance is $367.50.

      For the second account (ending in 7551), we are providing the account summary, bill statement,
      and terms and conditions as verification of debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act,
      section 809(15 U.S.C.§ 1692(g)) and applicable state and local requirements. Please note that the address
      on the bill statements matches the address that ********* ***** included in their inquiry.

      The third account, account number ****************, reference number *********, originated
      with ****** *** ***** **** on June 15, 2020. The last payment in the amount of $16.83 was received on
      April 1, 2022. This account charged off on September 15, 2022 with a balance of $631.86. LVNV acquired
      this account on October 17, 2022. No payments have been received on this account since it was acquired
      by LVNV. The current account balance is $631.86.

      For the third account (ending in 1361), we are providing the account summary, bill statements, and
      terms and conditions as verification of debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act,
      section 809(15 U.S.C.§ 1692(g)) and applicable state and local requirements. Please note that the address
      on the bill statements through the statement dated December 2021 matches the address ********* *****
      included in their inquiry.

      These accounts were previously charged off. Charging off an account does not satisfy the debt, nor
      does it affect the customer’s responsibility for the amount owed. If the account is sold after being charged
      off, the new owner has the right to collect the account.

      This letter is in response to the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”) inquiry received June 22, 2023
      regarding the referenced account (the “Account”). LVNV Funding LLC (“the Current Owner”) currently
      owns the Account, having acquired it on March 28, 2018. Resurgent Capital Services L.P. (“Resurgent”) is
      the servicer of the Account.

      At Resurgent, we take our customer service and consumer protection obligations very seriously
      and have dedicated significant resources to our compliance-related functions. I have personally reviewed
      ********* *******’s inquiry and believe the following information will address their concerns.

      The Account originated on September 26, 2014 with ******* and was opened with **********.
      The last payment in the amount of $107.05 was received on July 23, 2017. The Account charged off on
      February 23, 2018 with a balance of $2,240.54. No payments have been received on the Account since it
      was acquired by the Current Owner. As of the date of this communication the current balance is $2,539.01.

      The enclosed letter containing verification of debt was mailed to ********* ******* on February
      23, 2023. This Account has been properly verified as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

      I hope my response has addressed all of ********* *******’s concerns. If there are any further

      This Collection Agency sent me a letter on April 12, 2023 stating that if I paid the amount of $385.04 that they would resolve the existing debt of $855.00. I sent them out a check in that amount which was processed through my bank on May 10, 2023. I then noticed they did not in fact resolve this debt but deduct this amount showing a remaining amount of $470.00. I called them yesterday of which I received no results. I am in the process of purchasing a home and do not need this negative transaction on my credit report.

      is the servicer of the Account.

      At Resurgent, we take our customer service and consumer protection obligations very seriously
      and have dedicated significant resources to our compliance-related functions. I have personally reviewed
      ******* ******’s inquiry and believe the following information will address their concerns.

      The Account originated on August 4, 2017 with **** ****** ***** **. The last payment in the
      amount of $194.47 was received on October 19, 2017. The Account charged off on May 28, 2018 with a
      balance of $245.37. No payments have been received on the Account since it was acquired by the Current
      Owner. The current Account balance is $245.37.

      The Account was previously charged off. Charging off an account does not satisfy the debt, nor
      does it affect the customer’s responsibility for the amount owed. If the account is sold, the new owner has
      the right to collect the account.

      With its purchase of the Account, the Current Owner acquired all ownership rights, including the
      rights to collect on the Account and to report to the credit bureaus, if eligible. Currently, this Account is
      being reported to the credit bureaus on behalf of the Current Owner. In accordance with the Fair Credit
      Reporting Act, a request to update the Current Owner’s tradeline for this Account to disputed will be
      submitted to the credit bureaus during the next reporting cycle.

      We are providing the account summary and a bill statement as verification of debt in accordance
      with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, section 809(15 U.S.C.§ 1692(g)) and applicable state and local
      requirements.

      amount of $394.95 was received on March 30, 2022. The Account charged off on November 15, 2022 with
      a balance of $1,212.60. No payments have been received on the Account since it was acquired by the
      Current Owner. The current Account balance is $1,212.60.

      With its purchase of the Account, the Current Owner acquired all ownership rights, including the
      rights to collect on the Account and to report to the credit bureaus, if eligible. Currently, this Account is
      being reported to the credit bureaus on behalf of the Current Owner. In accordance with the Fair Credit
      Reporting Act, the Current Owner’s tradeline for this Account is being reported as disputed to the credit
      bureaus. It will continue to report as such throughout the permissible reporting period unless new
      information indicates that the dispute should be removed.

      Resurgent received the electronic disputes that **** ***** submitted through the credit bureau(s),
      and in each case Resurgent sent a timely response, providing the bureau(s) with information relevant to
      their dispute. We are providing an account summary, terms and conditions, and bill statements on file as
      verification of debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, section 809(15 U.S.C.§
      1692(g)) and applicable state and local requirements.

      Resurgent’s goal is to adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations concerning the collection
      of debts. Accordingly, we expect the same of the servicers collecting on our behalf. After investigating the
      Account, we found no evidence of the mishandlings alleged in the inquiry.
