Mr. ********* you brought your 2015 turbocharged Jaguar in to diagnose a check engine light, as well as pinpointing a coolant leak.  Our technician scanned for codes, researched, tested, and found a vacuum leak at your air intake.  Unfortunately it is a pretty expensive part to replace on this vehicle.  He also found multiple coolant leaks which you were advised and given pricing.  We were never given an answer whether we should proceed with repairs so the car was pulled out of the shop so we could service the next customer.  The next day you showed up unannounced to pick it up so we got the bill together.  You were upset about the charges, which is surprising since as a 'technician' I assume you also don't work for free.  I apologized over the phone about the hose clamp being left loose, but our tech didnt know when he pulled it out that you would just be picking up.  You were also told we would correct the hood latch issue; to just bring it back by but you never gave us the opportunity so were not even sure youre being truthful.  Looking at your review history, it seems youre not happy with any businesses in the area. You seem pretty miserable, Id recommend trading your Jag for a car you have the budget to repair and maintain.

Ms. ***** brought her car to us with the complaint 'scrub noise, steering feels jerky'.  We advised her the power steering pump was failing and needed replacement.  While in the shop, the technician noted the check engine light was on and the vehicle was running poorly.  We advised her of this issue and asked if she wanted us to look into it. She agreed, and my tech spent a small amount of time and found that the front spark plugs were all loose, so he properly torqued them and it began to run smoother.  We told her about this and she acknowledged that somebody had tried to replace the plugs but they were unsuccessful.  She was advised it seemed better currently, but if the problem recurred she would have to return and we'd have to look into it further.  She came back about a week later claiming that it was running rough again and we needed to 'fix it right'.  She was reminded that we did minimal work for that issue, and since it came back she would have to leave it for further diagnostics/repairs (with additional charges).  She did not like this and left. She now claims that she again has a power steering problem and wants her money back.  She was advised that we warranty all work and she should bring it back so we can re-address it (possibly under warranty?)  She has refused, and at this point it's clear she is trying to scam us.  We will still warranty previous repairs but would prefer not to have her future business.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Sincerely,

********* ***** First of all scam not on my part and  I trusted  Archers . Why would I bring back and pay when u didnt fix the issue I took it in for?  If it were the steering pump, why its still doing the same thing??? U want to keep it for a few days  to take apart to  find out the problem when I already told you. Oh I will ,I will not consider taking my car back to you..

Ms. ****** initially brought her car to us for 'check transmission leak'.  We found it was not leaking, but the radiator was leaking coolant and had that fixed under her warranty.  Almost 2 weeks later she returned saying she's been having issues with it overheating.  She admitted she had been driving around like this for 1-2 weeks and had somebody else looking at it and doing work to it.  Once it eventually returned to our shop, we found it had an engine issue.  After extensive labor tear-down, we concluded there was a crack in a cylinder wall of the engine.  Her warranty wouldn't cover this repair, and she is now refusing to pay the labor she approved or pickup the vehicle.  She has threatened a lawsuit and her son called and threatened violence against our staff, so we will not be responding any further unless through proper legal channels.
