I was visiting Charleston last week, put money in the meter, no where did I see it posted I could not park there after 4 PM the meter gave me time till 515. I come out at 4:45 from looking at the Jewish memorial and my car is gone. First of all, it had a Florida tag on the car so obviously I was not from around there. I’m in my 70s I’m on a cane and I have no idea where my car is. I reported it stolen. Law enforcement came was very helpful. He didn’t know why I was towed since I still had money available on the meter. Through my Subaru star link app we were able to locate the vehicle. LEO said it was up to me to discuss it with the tow company that they could not interfere. $130 later and a $45 parking ticket.Review from SA S

Outrageous fees and charges when a car is impounded. They told me fees are set by the city and the city said they have nothing to do with the car or fees once it is towed by Jennings. Someone should check the relationship between this company and the city procurement.

*** sent Jennings Towing to the IOP connector where I was stranded with a disabled vehicle. Steering wheel disengaged at 45mph but fortunately I was able to break and coast to a stop. The tow truck driver, Curtis M********, was extremely helpful. I had ordered an Uber ride that had not arrived yet and Mr M******** refused to leave until he knew I was safely in the Uber car. I don't know anything about Jennings Towing but I do know that the driver knew what he was doing and was extremely helpful in numerous ways.Jennings Towing Company, Inc. Response
