rooms were not clean. carpets were dirty and not vacuumed. had to ask them to bring a new vacuum because the one provided was broken. the amount of dirt and stuff i sucked up in the vacuum wad disgusting. there were c*** roaches. they offered to spray and put down traps. only put down traps STILL HAD COCKROACHES. so disgusting and unprofessional. 0/10 would NEVER recommend.Review from Wiliam T

Booked a room thru VRBO and got "Big FIsh" Said I had to sigh an over 70 item rental agreement that **** does not cover. These guys are SCAMMERS in every since of the word. I refused to sing this ridiculous " ala cart" fee maker. Ending up booking directly with the resort which is what I had done in the past and should have done this time. Of course lost my whole payment including the ridiculous $130 cleaning fee which they refused to refund. Now I will be watching for my security deposit to be robbed as another person's review states what happened to them as they did not stay either.Review from Nancy N

Owners beware ************ is unethical, unprofessional and downright liars and thieves. I was with them for a year after purchasing my condo. It was the worst experience Ive ever had and I have a few rental properties. Firstly, they never answer their phone. You have to communicate by text messages which takes forever when youre trying to get something accomplish. What professional company does not speak to people, especially the owners? They nickel and dime owners with absurd fees for everything ($25 to take a remote to your property. $125 for cleaning which is always horrible). They have the nerve to want to charge $60 a night during off-season and cleaning charge is $125. So at what point am I making a profit? No, they are making a profit from such a booking. Owners, ***** and **** are jokes. I asked her one question on my payment statements and this woman had the nerve to say I have to go online and book an appointment with them. When I refused and challenged her, all of a sudden, Im an not educated and dont know how to read a statement. Who says that but an immature unprofessional who is trying to hide something. Condo owners if youre looking for a property management company keep it moving. This is not it! Potential renters, dont jeopardize your vacation using these people. You never know what youre going to get and they will outright lie for a profit. I am now being property managed by the actual Resort my unit is in, and Ive never been more pleased with receiving an actual profit, and not lining their pockets.Review from Emily W

Stay away from this company scams ,deceit, unethical and fraudulent. This company works in an unethical fashion and Iam trying to let families know in advanced of this company unethical practices . Please check out all the reviews on it . Im a consumer that doesnt know anything anbout or anyone at this company . Im warning the consumer base solely on an experience that my wife 4 year old and 11 month old had with this company . If you read all the other reviews you will come to your on conclusion . These rentals are so dirty! The property manager will contact you incessantly before your stay asking for excessive personal information, without any sort of confidentiality or encryption. When we finally checked in, I was very disappointed to see how there was no deadbolt on the door. And the unit itself was so gross. There were mysterious white stains all over the walls. The bed was filthy, the sheets had clearly not been changed. And he cleaning fee charges was more than double the room rate. The unit was supposed to come with pool passes and a parking pass, but neither were in the unit. I would highly recommend NOT staying with these people!Review from William F

My friends and I have stayed at *************** the past 2 ******* for my birthday, and it was nothing short of amazing! Helpful staff, nice rooms overlooking the beach, lots to do in the hotel! Big Fish Rental's outside the resort is very convenient and fun! It is nice to be able to walk out of the hotel and onto the beach!Review from Amanda R

I booked a hotel through Booking.com and somehow it went through baked fish rail. They sent me an address of the hotel told me what room might be in and that I would have to wait for them to send me the passcode to the door. Well, when we got to the hotel at the address they sent. It was not the same hotel I had booked. Which means, I didnt have a room to stay in. Back-and-forth with rental the mans name was ******. Did I get anything straight. Me and my husband drove back home. They charged me for the room. They charged me for an early check in and the $150 deposit which was never refunded. Then they sent me an email telling me that they were going to be charging me two times for a damaged room. Not sure how I didnt damage the room that I never got in but they say I did. Big fish is a scammer please do not ever book a room using this company.Review from Mack K

Luxury Rules, below poverty standardsI stayed at a privately owned (BIG FISH RENTALS), one bedroom ***************** from 7/27-7/29. Candidly speaking, it was the most disgusting and uncomfortable travel experience I have ever encountered. Towels and sheets were disgusting and accompanied with someone's hair. Mold was everywhere. The unit was infested with roaches. ****** s*** everywhere and even on the dishes. Dirty not cleaned at all soda spelled all over the floor with hair walls marked up and Furniture was old and damaged. When we got there we had to leave because it was unhealthy and I was afraid I would get charged for the damaged old Furniture. My 3 year old was screaming because of the roaches. I have health problems so I didn't feel safe to stay . Since July 12,2024 we have been texting and calling them for a refund at first they listed and acted like they was gonna give our money back and until this day we are still waiting they Ignore our text and phone calls. The worst part is we had to drive around looking for another hotel with a 3year old and we finally found o e at 2am. They didn't even try to help or suggest another room . This is not okay what they are doing to people . We didn't even stay and they are refusing to refund my money . The lady said in the contract it says you might see bugs. She doesn't understand it was ****** infested, and dirty. I wish I could leave pictures so you can see how bad and nasty it was..
