    We went to Myrtle ********************** and stayed at The ***** HOUSE in North Cherry Grove. The cleanliness and upkeep of the home was little to none. The home was dusty, moldy in parts and unsanitary in others. Caked up dust is visible on the ceiling fans and vents. Mold is visible on venting and certain areas in bathrooms, like the a shower heads. Disgusting! There was even a crockpot in one of the bathrooms. The floors were extremely slippery because sand was on them. The carpets need to be cleaned, if not pulled up altogether. Broken furniture has been left there as an eyesore as well as a safety hazard. . Why not just remove it from the description/pictures of the home and the property? It does more harm than good not to.... Overall, it wasn't worth the price. I have no problem with the amount of a property as long as it's worth it. This was definitely not. We dealt with it because we're from ******** and had no other options. The way the contract is written allows them to continue to do this, so you have no choice but to trust that the description of the home is valid and true. IT ISN'T! I wouldn't recommend this property or this company. You don't get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay there for free. I'd rather pay for what I want and I got ripped off. I was told that someone would reach out to me on January 5. It is now January 13 and I still haven't heard from anyone.

    Thank you for reaching out to Elliott Beach Rentals, we apologize that you had issues with the ***** home, however you never called us to report anything about these issues and we definitely would have taken care of them or moved you to another property. There is nothing stating that you were unhappy with your stay and if we do not know what is wrong with the home we can not fix it or take care of the issues while you are with us. You have left reviews on every web page we have and a response has *** made to each and every one of those and our department that you need to speak to has left you a phone number and an ext to reach out to. Contacting the BBB or filing this complaint does not fix your issues. We only have so much that we can do for you while your are in house and we like to take care of any and all issues while you are here however if you dont report them we dont know how to report them, we could have moved you as well.

    I had pretty much put this out of mind after several months.Time to start planning next beach trip.Received my new listing book from Elliott.Reminded me not to use them againLast June we rented a unit through them.Ocean Terrace/Cherry Grove Cant remember unit number but first floor facing Ocean Blvd.The amenity list included hot tub.Dealing with a physical injury I was looking forward to the hot tub..It was out of serviceNot just broke and being repaired..Probably not in service for months..Privacy fence around it was collapsing.Empty with layer of black slime in the bottom.(Pictures available if they dont believe me or deny my description)Called Elliott office requesting somebody drive by and look.Nothing.Stopped by office and talked to desk clerks.They were no help at all.Actually added to the aggravation.One checked the registration to see if I was actual renter while other looked up the listing to see if it indeed listed hot tub..Their explanation was it was probably damaged by hurricane eight months earlier.Plus they added it was a HOA property and Elliott wasnt responsible for amenities(If its listed on their site arent they semi responsible/false advertising/something)The situation would be passed on to manager when she returned from lunch.Never heard from them that week.Searched satellite maps.Hot tub had been empty long before the hurricane.On satellite map the tub was empty and ***************** was still in one piece.After returning home I called again..No help.I wrote a letter to Mr ************************** sure if he got it or office manager decided to take care of it.They sent me a check for $50Elliott customer service has gone downhill last few years.Were done with them

After reviewing your reservation with us, it shows that you agreed to the ***** when you were in the office speaking to a manager. You did not say anything else about the hot tub you advised the unit was nice and the pool was nice as well. We have no control over the *** and their response to having amenities fixed or taken care of in a timely manner. We apologize that you had these issues, we could have moved you to another unit or compensated you more if you were that upset over the hot tub. This has been since June of this year you could have called and spoken to another manager instead of posting to the BBB about the issue you had. I can offer you a discounted rate for your next stay if you decide you would give us another chance. I apologize again that you were not happy but if we cant fix the issue we try to compensate for it.

    I rented a condo for three months, 22/1 to 2/29. I have this unit once before with no issues. The unit, Baywatch III unit 835 has become a little dated but acceptable. In ******** add of the unit it stated 'laundry available. In my rental agreement under the amenities it stated " laundry room on 1st floor. Baywatch has been doing renovations and totally closed down the laundry room on 1st floor and recommended using the one in building 1. Unfortunately the dryer doesn't work because the vents are clogged. I sent a letter to Elliott and the owner requesting cancellation of the rental and the return of two months rent I sited ************** Landlord ******* Act Title ********* that basically states " no application of the facilities necessary to the provision of essential services may be excluded. I got a response from a "junior manager " basically.. TOO BAD, SO SAD. This comes from a company that was founded by the former ************** Senator ******* Elliott. I guess it doesn't apply to his company just everyone else.

    Thank you for reaching out to Elliott Beach Rentals in reference to your complaint, you were advised that there was amenities in building one that you could have used. If the dryer there was clogged is on the building management team not Elliott Beach Rentals. You were advised that we would also give you any money spent for a laundry mat as well. We have no control over the building doing renovations or construction and we are not told about their projects as well. We apologize that you had a terrible stay and you feel that you should be refunded for no laundry facility however at this time we will not be issuing any refunds or compensation. A letter was emailed to you for a future discount on your next stay with us if you would like to come back next year.

    We rented ambassador 205 and we're moved to the oasis. Both houses get same review: Horrible!! Dirty, literally hasn't been cleaned in at least a year. Fans had dust hanging off the blades, the walls, cabinets and every surface was grimy and greasy. The light fixtures had years worth of dust on them. Toilets had urine on the sides. The laundry room had a bucket full of mold. The washing machine was dirtier than any clothes you'd want to wash. Old empty water bottles in the cupboards. Mattresses weren't suitable for a dog, urine stained and smelly. I could go on and on. We ended up getting a refund and going elsewhere because it was so intolerable. They tried to put us in a new house that was considered their highest quality home, but it was just as bad and wasn't handicap accessible which we needed.

    We rented ********************* 705 #1. The place was dreadful. It was filthy throughout, with caked on dust on the walls, ceiling fans and other light fixtures. The main bath had mold in the shower. Broken door blinds on the main floor as well as broken cabinets for the wet bar. Also, had a large hole from a fist in the entryway. Pots and pans were disgustingly dirty. Laughably, it is described as well maintained, comfortable and appealing. This place was the equivalent of a college frat house. Had my family and I not driven 12 hours we would have left after checking in. The connecting unit had several house parties nightly which essentially made us stay inside. On one occasion we had to call the owners about their tenants behavior. We ultimately left a day early due to the behavior of a new tenant who attempted to pick a fight with my wife and sister as they sat on the deck. Lastly, both my wife and I wrote reviews about the property which were never posted, which is no surprise. We have rented several times from Elliott Beach in the past but will be taking our business elsewhere.

    Wish I had read these reviews before renting from Elliott. We rented All Decked Out and the place was filthy. Couldn't check in until 8pm because house was being "cleaned". Lights in kitchen were out. How can you clean with no lights? It wasn't! Pots and pans had not been scrubbed and still had burnt on food on them, floors had not been cleaned and were filthy, Vents were covered with dust and mold inside, blood stains on sheet, dust everywhere, outside shower broken. Office personnel called Sun morning concerning electrical problem. Told her it was a breaker and my son fixed it. Told her the house wasn't even cleaned. Apologized and said she would send a cleaning crew out. We never saw the cleaning crew! Received a message on Fri stating if certain cleaning wasn't done. I could be charged up to $500. Sent message to office with pics and received a phone call. Said there was no record or work order showing I spoke to anyone with cleaning issues. They could not fix something they didn't know about. Told her I spoke with someone but she didn't believe me. Sent screen shot of call with date. Said I should have called daily until someone came to resolve issue. I did not pay $4000 to go on vacation and spend my time cleaning and showing the rental company how to do their job. The house should have been cleaned before our arrival. Elliott did refund me $150 which was not nearly enough for all the aggravation. First family vacation in 8 years and I had to rent from these people. Could be a nice place to stay with location to beach and pool. Unless someone other than an Elliott employee cleaned it, I wouldn't stay there again ever!!! 0 star!!!

    We spent $1500 on a room at **************** for a family trip. They changed our booked room, had issues with air conditioning and a broken bed. Elliott Rentals promised reimbursements but offered only $140. ********, the representative, was uncooperative and argued with false information. We won't use Elliott Rentals again, resulting in the loss of over 30 regular customers.

    Company advertises on VBRO and 3rd party sites even if dates requested arent available. Entered my dates, selected a rental and paid only to get an email within an hour saying that the rental wasnt available on the dates that I selected. They assured me that my card wouldnt be charged; however when I checked my account there was a VBRO booking charge. I contacted them to find out why I was still charged and they said I would have to take it up with VBRO; which I shouldnt have had to do since they canceled not me. I contacted VBRO and was told to contact the rental company. VBRO has agreed to refund my money, but says I have to wait 3-5 days for the refund to process. Just be aware that rentals advise by this company many not be available as advertised so avoid booking with them through 3rd party to avoid getting money tied up unnecessarily like us.

    Thank you for this information, we are a rental company and we have bookings through ****, however we do not receive any money from **** until you check out of your unit. We do not control the money that is taken from you until you become our guest at one of our rentals. We are sorry that you had these issues but this seems like an issue that should be handled through **** not through Elliott Realty.

    ** booked a room back in Jan. ** cancelled said room end of Feb. Avoid @ Elliott Beach Rentals at all cost! They say during summer months its a Sat-Sat rental. However we cancelled our reservation, and was told we had to wait til it was booked to be refunded. Ok cool, then they go and book it Sat-Tuesday, leaving **d-Fri open, and booked it Sat. So that avoided ** getting a refund all together because they said all the days we booked had to be reserved in order for ** to be refunded. When we specifically tried to book days outside the normal Sat-Sat rental when we reserved this unit, but it wasnt allowed. They will go to extreme measures of finding loop holes that will cause you to lose your $. Now we are out over $1200.
