BEDBUGS INFESTED ROOMS(******** ******)please do not use Elliott Reality at all,there coordinator ***** booked ** 8 oceanfront rooms ,they were not cleaned,they smelled and was infested with roaches an bedbugs,my family was bitten up badly,we sent in pictures to show proof an they sent a bug man out an he told them the rooms was positive for bedbugs an they still refused to give ** our full refund back for the rooms,our whole family reunion was ruined an to top it off the kids was not up,please don't use this company,an I'm filing claims on the company and the room unit owners to get all of our money back.The management was very rude an unwilling to helpElliott Beach Rentals

1 starWe wish we would have read all the negative reviews before investing money in an elite home rental. There are serious safety and health issues at the property. ****** is not available 24/7 and ignored calls and emails. I suffered a serious knee injury and my medical bills have been ignored. My family became ill from swimming in a contaminated pool. Mold and scum throughout the house. The pool was not cleaned for 2 weeks per the pool serviceman. ****** is well aware of the problems. Their greed encapsulates on vacationers and is unforgiving. If you receive a refund, you are fortunate.Review fromJames C

We reserved a house for the last full week of July. The house itself, was basically what one expect in that particular price range, aside from some minor issues. The problem is Elliott Rentals billing an additional charge and claiming damage to the property almost 2 weeks after we departed. The claim from Elliott is that we essentially ripped the storm door from the threshold on the front of the home, then left it laying against the porch railing. This did not happen while we were there. The frame for the storm door was loose on the hinge side near the bottom of the threshold, but was still attached. You had to lift the door slightly to get it to latch, and had to do the same thing to the main door as well to lock it. No one will actually speak to me at Elliott aside from their QC Director telling me the charges are valid, and then hanging up. The QC Director honestly is upset that his mobile number is listed online through the realty company he works for, and "didn't appreciate me calling his direct line...that charges were valid" and then hung up, just before telling me I am apparently "blacklisted" from ever renting again from Elliott. We had stayed several times over the years in Elliott managed properties, but whether "blacklisted" or not, I wouldn't advise anyone to do business with them unless you take pictures of everything, and report everything multiple times to try and avoid being billed for something someone else did.Elliott Beach Rentals

Dear Mr. and Mrs. ******* we are very sorry for the inconvenience and for the miscommunication we had concerning your unit. When guest come into the units they usually let us know about any issues that are going on in the unit, mainly so that they do not get charged for it. Our policy is to charge the guest that has departed for any damage if they have not reported it. We did see that the issue was resolved, and again we apologize for misunderstanding.James C

Resolved? Do you mean by us having to file a dispute with the card company used for payment, for invalid charges? That process is actually still pending resolution, and could go either way really. Your cleaning crew supposedly took pictures of a door leaning against a porch rail, and then I have pictures of a door attached the evening we left the property. Nothing was "resolved" by Elliott Rentals, only made worse actually through the treatment and attitude received. I'm done with the issue and Elliott now though, and simply share our experience.Review fromPeter K

In April my wife and I decided to give us a 1 year out time due to many month taking care of all needed Treatments and Physical therapy my wife was undergoing. One morning my wife woke up and was blind and unable to speak. On top her mobility was gone. Paralyzed from her neck down.
The recovery time was exhausting and difficult at times due to the needed 24hr care.
We got in contact with Elliott vacation rental and moved in a condo at the Ocean Forest Plaza.
After we moved in I noticed some issues with the AC and opened the Cover. Shocking to see that the AC was leaking and had already effect the bathroom vanity and the Kitchen area. On top the Apartment. was filthy as it can be. Walking over the Carpet was impossible without shoes. My feet turned black (no Joke) immediately. Long Story short all of my concerns brought to management was Stone walled. 4 month now with no change. There is a Bill of SC how this has to be handled.
If mold appears a new placement has to be offered until the issue is resolved. All cost would be on landlord. Filthy and ignorant a company ******* ******** We have now resources and evidence that Elliott has knowingly rented out a inhabited living space which is illegal. Mold and the exposure to human being especially to my wife who has progressive MS will cause now a huge scenario. A class A lawsuit should be filed. Everybody who has similar issues with Elliott and their management should come forward. All our attention to book vacation Rental is to have a peacefully, time which Elliott doesn't provide. I am even not blame Elliott as such. Its the management which has no experience in Customer Service and is unable to resolve problems which rolling in before they even got out of Bed. Lazy and lying and no respond in timely manner and all the above. ******* **** ********* ****** ****** ****** ***** ****** ****** ******* ****** ******* ****** Elliott does not do Long term renting. the one who should have made a comment to us personally the silent 3 1/2 months was way too long before we got relocated the unit **** at the ocean forest Plaza was not a good place and now we have proof and sadly the damage 5.4 million spores toxic been found normal raid would be between 10,000 the construction site maybe 100,000 we've been exposed for 3 1/2 months for 5.4 million toxic spores this command which is made valued it's not even appendage for what's to come which we are have to deal with this apartment can't be rented out it is a death trap I have to make this comment because I know about it and I don't wanna have the blood on my list
oh blood results came back as well and it's not giving us any peace of the already 3 1/2 months **** we are severely exposed of toxin 3 1/2 higher, so before someone is given a comment of a complaint you should have get in contact with me first to see how going just put a bandage over complain to look good again it's not gonna happen 5.4 million toxin spores in his apartment it's the highest amount this company has seen ever now we have inhaled all this dirt and I have complained after three weeks living there and nobody moved we have a problem here severe problem and I will not stop. Fighting for my rights taking Care now of the medical mitigation and we'll find the responsible person who let this apartment go downhill like this, renting it out in calculating that somebody eventually can die yes it feels good do I have a lawyer . House was disgusting and not cleaned. I called the company and they told me they could not refund our cleaning fees. I told them that I was not happy with that due to the fact that we had to clean the house. The front porch was not swept. Rugs were full of sand. Inside, the floors were extremely dirty. Spills on the floor that wasn't mopped up. The bath rugs were so dirty we had to wash them. The area rug in the living room is dirty and stained. The toilets were dirty with black rings. The coffee pot was filthy and had a little coffee in the pot. There were lip imprints, fingerprints, and dried food on the wine glasses. The countertops in kitchen was full of dust and sand. The utensil drawers had food crumbs in them. The bedroom dressers and night stand full of dust. Had to clean the top and inside the drawers to put our clothing. They sent the cleaning crew after I told them we had already cleaned. They came out and spot cleaned what we told them to do. We spent $3220 for the week and this includes $238 of cleaning fees. This is unacceptable! We were told that this company takes 3D pictures of the houses after the previous renters leave. If the house looks clean housekeeping skips the house. What happened to sanitizing the house especially for Covid precautions?Elliott Beach Rentals

You can take pride in knowing when you rent through Elliott, we are here 24/7 and although we may not be perfect, we are perfectly capable of handling service issues and resolution. We encourage the person that posted this review to call our complaint resolution department at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX ******** so this matter can be professionally handled and if resolved we appreciate the courtesy of the public via a response on this review platform be notified as well.
Elliott will use this complaint as a learning experience for staff and vendors so other guest do NOT have to experience the same thing you did.

If I could leave negative stars I would. When we first rented this unit in the fall of 2021 for June of 2022 it was owned by someone else. We received a message that since it had changed ownership we would need to cancel our reservation and redo it because of this. Honestly this should have been the first warning of impending issues. Fast forward to June 18,2022. Around 2:00 p.m. I received a text message that the unit was ready and could check in. We had planned on not checking in until after 4 which was check in time. We arrived to check in around 5:30, received our keys and went to our unit located at Grand Atlantic 2007 S Ocean Blvd. unit 1407. Upon entering the unit we noticed that the keyless entry was missing it's covering. We had 10 people in our party which included two children. Everyone proceeded to unpack and get comfortable in the unit. It was then we started to realize the unit was NOT clean. In the main bedroom closet there was an "extra" tv and a FILTHY box fan. The closet left no room for our belongings. In the bedroom containing two double beds the ceiling was leaking right above one of the beds. Our guests were only able to use one of the beds in that room. This would prove to be the absolute worst part of our trip. The unit contained an extra room that had its own entrance and the chain lock for that door was broken. The tops of all of the bedframes were extremely dusty and appeared to have not been dusted in quite some time. The fans in every room had dust that was visible on each of the fan blades. The chair seats at the dining table were full of sand as well. As it was after closing at the Elliot office I went the next day to report these issues. I spoke with Ryan at the office and was asked if I wanted them to have the cleaning staff come back out and clean. At that point we were all moved in and it would have been difficult to have someone come in to do that.Elliott Beach Rentals

They also offered to move you and you also declined to move. Upon your departure you received compensation for your inconvenience. Elliot beach rentals moved me to another property at the end of my stay. I was in my unit for over 24 hrs. with no AC before being moved. I stayed at the new location Saturday evening 7pm-check out at 10 AM the next morning. I have NOT received any financial compensation.Elliott Beach Rentals
