11/19/24 email advertising Oprahs favorite Christmas gifts. Contained several products.i was interested in a cooking knife and cooking scissors. Put one of each in my cart. Added ****** sign in. Went back out of that item to check company credentials. When I went to revisit knives, received a verification that 5 knives, 5 stealths and scissors was ordered. At no time did I review my cart. At no time did I click on add 4 more knives and 4 more sheaths. At no time did it cross my mind to order that. I immediately called company. Called several times. Called ****** to cancel but it was an automatic payment. Company claims cant cancel because already whipped within minutes of the bogus order. Filed a claim with ******. Please look at reviews on ******. This company has a long lengthy disturbing history of this exact scam. Consumers buy 1 item and immediately get charged for multiple. Fraud. The box was in my postal box today. Unopened. I do not want this stuff.

    12/05/2024

The company has not agreed to any solution for the scam they perpetrated on me - and countless others - except to send me return shipping address. They mailed this box to me from ****, ****. Took 3 days. The return address is *********, *******. I checked postage from ****** to ******* - well over $250. I called them and asked why? No good reason except the obvious one - no one is inclined to spend $250 to return a bunch of unwanted knives. Scam scam scam.

    Please investigate this fraudulent company.

I made an order from ********** which is owned and operated by Ecomlt LLC. The website ********** sells a pillow that is supposed to prevent neck pain and align your spine. They also added on 2 pillow cases automatically and billed seperately. These were defective with broken zippers. These are claims made on the site. The site is a well thought scam. They show a 70% discount if you order in the time left on the timer. The timer shows less than 15 mins prompting people to make a purchase right away. This timer just resets to 15 mins over and over. Order cancelations are not allowed period. The website shows many fake reviews. I know this because I made a purchase and can't leave a review. The website offers no place to leave a review and no link is sent to do so. This means all the reviews are put there by Ecomlt employees. You make the purchase and can't cancel so it is shipped out. The item is vacuum packed down to the size of a large greeting card. In order to inspect, test or even see if the product is damaged you must open it. They do not allow returns of opened product. Even if you don't open it and want to return it since you can't cancel the order you are required to pay return shipping and restocking fee. As I said well thought out scam. They also have no phone so all you can do is email. I am disabled and bought this due to the claims made by the seller. These claims are false. I am also making a complaint with the ***

The company stopped answering me before I filed this complaint. I am not satisfied with the company at all. The website is a big scam, the reviews are even fake. The company wants me to pay to ship it back to them when it is not as described. The company does not allow order cancelation either. They lock you into the sale at ********** then charge you to return it. Shipping fees and restocking fees. Company's like this are terrible and the scam is well thought out. **** ****.

They advertised a 70% discount on insoles and then charged full price, $95.48. The prompts on the website are not clear. They represent *******. I still have not received product to return. I believe this is known as bait and switch. Bait and switch scams are illegal in the ************* under the ************************ (***) Act of 1914.

They use bait and switch and charge credit card immediately. Product was enroute for weeks. Such a scam. Contacted my ************ to dispute.

On 6-6-2024, I went to nuubupads.com and saw an Ad that stated that Nuubu Packs were on sale at a 70% discount (or $17.95 for a Box of 10), so filled out the Order for one box, but when I got to the website Order Summary the Comapny had charged my debit card $41.77 for two boxes even though I only bought one box. Since the company arbitrarily and fraudulently changed my Order and charged for two boxes. I want my Order cancelled and have sent the Company an email specifically stating that I want all my money refunded and the Order cancelled.

Ordered product on website. While submitting payment via credit card the system changed the order from one item to multiple items. I immediately called the company to report the mistake but I was told that the items were already processing for shipment I also requested modification of the order to one item but was told by customer service representative that they were unable to change the order. I tried to set up for the return but was unable to access the required link to request the return address Thetefore I am reporting bad business practices for that company I also need to resolve this issue and return the product and get a refund ASAP . Thank you for your indulgence.

I saw an ad online--The Coolest 29 Tech Gadgets of 2023, clicked on it and found the ************* Spin Scrubber for $39.00, plus shipping and tax, a total of $53.83, ordered it and paid with my PayPal account.. Without .my knowledge or authorization, Ecomlt added another transaction with more items for an additional $106.40, They sent me an invoice, #**bv9ev with two transactions, Description Synoshi, Amount 4 Price $88.00, Standard delivery, $9.95 and Synoshi Cone Brush, Amount 4, Price $49.00., for a total of $160.33.Same day and time, Ecomlt also sent me a text saying they would send one more item for $49.00 unless I replied STOP.The same day, 3/11/24, I sent an email to ******************* asking them to cancel the added order I did not make. They responded the same day saying it was too late, The next day, 3/12, I sent another email to ******************* and asked them to cancel all the orders and to not ship the products and they declined saying that since I filed a claim with PayPal they would need to reply through PayPal.The claim I filed with PayPal against Ecomlt was denied and a claim I filed with my bank is pending. One week later, March 18, I received a heavy, torn package in flimsy plastic from ********. Their return policy is that I would need to return it at my cost to *********! I have not opened the package since I do not trust the contents and this company.I'm filing claims with several agencies not only seeking a refund but to try to stop Ecomlt from further scams to me and to others,

The PayPal receipt and my bank statement show two transactions with ECOMLT of $53.83 and $106.40 totaling $160.23. (I wrote $160.33).

But although the invoice from ECOMLT also shows two transactions totaling $160.23, there's a discrepancy in the description of items, quantity and price--

    $88.80 Synoshi 4

         9.95 Shipping

     $49.96 Synoshi Cone Brush  4

    $148.71

    tax 11.52

    total $160.23

This to me is one more proof of ECOMLT's deceptive business practice.

I saw an ad for a good sleep pillow on instagram and went to the site. Kind of confusing website, but I ordered one pillow and then one case for it. With shipping it should've been about $58. I placed this order through Paypal on 4/5. My order popped up for 4 pillows and 4 cases at $151 or so. I tried calling them, it wouldn't let me leave a message or call back number. I emailed them at the support email and when got an answer back they said it had already been packed but there was a 30 day window to return items. When I sent another email, more vehement, they sent me the return info that showed I had to return to *********. On further investigation they had Paypal payment set up to automatic and charged me two times. I immediately went to Paypal and shut that down and tried to contact them about it but was told to deal with the company first. After googling more info, I found that other customers had the same problem. Being charged more for items they didn't order and giving up on returns because they needed to be sent to *********.

    Customer response

    04/09/2024

I do get responses from the company about my complaint, however it's still ridiculous that I have to return the items to *********. After also filing a complaint through Paypal the company responded that their ordering process gives me time to look over the order before it is finalized. This is not true. This has also happened to other customers according to an online blog and other people writing on the Paypal blog. The company then offered to give me 15% back on my bill to make me feel better. The pillows are shipped from a warehouse in *******, the invoice has the address I sent you with this complaint, in *********, and the returns are to *********. Thank you for any help. *****************************

    Customer response

    04/10/2024

So, I received a message from ****** yesterday which I believe I told you about. They offered to refund 15% of the $151.87 bill. I sent an email back saying that wasn't acceptable since 3/4 of the order shouldn't have been sent. They also still hold with their return policy of shipping to *********. I was informed that they don't have any agreement with the warehouse here to receive returns and thus customers must ship there. Today I received another message through the paypal resolution center where they offered me 30% refund on the full order and I would keep the extra items. I responded with my thoughts that I would pay what my initial order was, $58.90, but would like a refund of the balance of $92.97. I would then donate the extra, unrequested, items to a charity. I sent this at 8:00am on 4/10/24. Thanks.

    Customer response

    04/12/2024

So, regarding my complaint with ****** about them charging me for too many pillows and cases. I went to the resolution center on Paypal and after 5 days of back and forth we reached an agreement. They're refunding me 1/2 of the initial payment and I don't have to return any items. It's not exactly what I asked for, but it's closer than nothing or then me having to return to *********. I still think the public should be aware that their ordering process is "hinky". This has happened to other customers too, Thanks for taking my complaints and I hope they do better as a company. I've asked them to look at the ordering process and make it correct and also to have a warehouse in the U.S. for returns, not *********. *****************************

    Customer response

    04/22/2024

So, after back and forth on the Paypal claim site we agreed on them refunding me 50% of what I was charged. It was more than I would have paid for one pillow since they charged me for 4, but I don't have to return them to ********* (right) to get a refund. So, the case is closed even though I'm still exasperated that they did what they did. I requested that they change their ordering process so others aren't put in the same position and that it would be good to have a return warehouse or site in ***************** for those that order and live here. *****************************
