Email sent to payusatax support email on website 2/12/25:Good afternoon,I am reaching out today because for the tax year 2023, I filed through ******* and your company was one of the listed vendors for payment. When I selected your company and proceeded with payment, I received a "Host Error" message and it showed to choose another vendor to proceed. I chose a 2nd vendor listed and my payment went through and I received confirmation. Fast forward. I received my credit card bill and I was in fact charged twice. 1x by ************************** for ($82.69 including the service fee) which would not allow me to proceed w/payment and showed an error and 1x by the vendor I received a confirmation of payment from. I reached out to ************************** customer service at that time and spoke with "***" who informed me since payment already processed it would have to be disputed through my cc company not **************************. I called my cc company and gave them ************************** info and what had transpired. I received a refund from the *** for the amount and fast forward I am now receiving letters from *** with interest accruing on the amount sent to me instructing me to send the amount back with accrued interest. I would like some assistance from ************************** and for the amount owed ($82.69 plus interest and other charges totaling $85.01 being charged by *** resulting from the host error on your payment portal) returned back to me promptly . The error on your payment option resulted in me being charged 2x for 1 service/amount owed for the ************************************************************** this matter.Thank you,Business Response

On 12/04/2024 I logged in to the official *** website to pay my taxes. I was directed to a legitimate link within the *** Website to process my payment. The official payment service is PAYUSATAX.I paid $5,398.14 and received a confirmation payment notice. My bank account was charged the same amount and payment cleared 0n 12/05/2024.On 01/30/2025 the *** sent me a certified letter that claims that my payment is overdue.The PAYUSATAX website is not active and notifies all users to contact a support email. Last,year,I used Value Payments Systems to pay estimated ******** problem,last year.However,this year is another story.I made 2 estimated tax payments to IDOR.Neither one are showing up.I made one for $38 on ***************,I made one for $445.Still pending.However,it also does not seems to be showing up on **** website.Did IDOR even get the money?Anyhow,I went on Value Payments Systems website and tried to sent them a message 2 ******** was blocked both times.Then,I tried to call the number on the website.I checked the number on the ********** was right.Was told it was not a working number.May have to try to find another way to pay IDOR.Hopefully,**** will cancel their contract with this company and find someone ******* any case,send IDOR the money that I send you.That is what it is for.Business Response

I have been trying to resolve this issue with the *** for years now - In my last conversation with them (1/22/25), I was told the problem was with the payment service I used to pay my federal taxes - PayUSAtax - parent company is Catalis Payments. I am not sure if I chose the correct address for this ********** husband and I paid our federal taxes via a link on the *** website - it took us to the PayUSAtax website, where I used a debit card to pay the amount we owed - $*********. I received a confirmation number and the money came out of our bank account a day later. A few months later we received a notice from the *** saying that we had not payed our taxes. In future years they kept our tax refunds to pay the outstanding balance, plus interest. I have made countless calls to the ***, sent them letters, copies of emails, copies of our bank account statement showing the money coming out of our account - to no avail. The EFTPS number is the *** trace number that they provide once they have accept your payment. A *** supervisor will need to use that to locate the payment on their side. Paid taxes for amended 2023 taxes, owed $600. Was sent the ************************** site through turbo tax from assistant.
