I have been receiving unsolicited emails from this company for several weeks and I can't get them to stop sending. They advise me to unsubscribe, and I have never subscribed to this or any group or marketing emails. It seems as if "*** Post" is a foreign entity that has no regards for the privacy of Americans. On June 3, 2024, I bought a pair of *** Post Tempe Full Quill Ostrich Boots. I received them about a week later. When they arrived, they were terrible looking. The leather had not been manufactured correctly and the boots looked terrible. On June 18,2024, I received an email from *** Post boots asking what I thought about the purchase. I was invited to provide an online review. I wrote an online review and provided pictures of the problem. *** Post sent me a message on June 21, 2024 asking me to contact their customer service department at ****************************** I wrote them a lengthy email reply that same day (June 21, 2024) with additional pictures that showed my extensive *** Post boot collection and then showed multiple pictures of the defective pair. They responded on June ************************************************************************ to return them for a full refund as they said they do not offer exchanges. I returned the boots to *** Post with a copy of their June 26th email inside the box indicating they would refund the purchase price. *** tracking number 1Z93624W9018928284 shows that *********** received the boots back on July 3, 2024 at 9:50 a.m. To date, I have not received a refund. I sent a follow-up email to *** Post customer care on July 10, 2024 asking for the status of my refund. They have not replied to my email NOR have they refunded my purchase price. I own a number of *** Post boots, but the way they have handled this purchase, this will be my last pair of *** Post boots. *** Post is deceptive in their return policy and does NOT refund in a timely manner. Their process is fraudulent and misleading.It is a shame that such a once great company has evolved into a fraudulent and misleading enterprise.BBB - please assist me in getting a refund on my purchase.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I paid a total of $467.59 for the boots. They refunded $455.59.
I am attaching a document that shows the original invoice and also shows the refund amount.
I am also showing the amount that was deposited into my bank account from t Paypal refund.
They did NOT refund my full purchase price. This is completely unacceptable, and it is NOT in keeping with their promise to provide a FULL refund.
They are again deceitful and committing fraud by promising a full refund but then shorting the total refund.
Completely unacceptable and poor business practice.

In the reply from *** Post, they indicate there is a $12 fee unless there was a defect.
They obviously DID NOT read their own email that I attached to the complaint that was from *** ********************* wherein THEY said that there was a manufacturing defect in the boots.
Geez. That is fine - - - close the complaint if you wish BBB - - - but *********** DID NOT comply with their own policy. ********************** admitted in writing that there was a defect.
They can keep their $12 - - - and I'll just never do business with this obviously fraudulent company ever again. After buying over a dozen boots from them (I sent them pictures), if they want to give up all my future business by treating me this way - - then that is certainly their decision. I will more than $!2 in satisfaction by pointing out this matter on EVERY review site I can find.
Good luck to them. Bad decision on their part. All over $12. Wow. Just wow.

This is the second pair I got from them and within 6 months the heel is coming apart. I liked the boot so got another pair and then realized the 1st pair heel was coming apart. Within 6 months on the 2nd pair both heels are coming apart. I have never had this happen on any of my boots before especially this soon. Also on both pairs the bottom material is coming apart too. I purchased *** Post boots and probably have worn them 5 times at the most. The soles have literally DETERIORATED. I've never seen a pair of boots do this in my entire life. I asked if I could return them to the factory to be re soled, they emailed back explaining they don't do that, and recommended that I take them to a local shoe repair?!
