      On May 14,2024 my 2021 Nissan was totaled. It was officially declared a total loss on May 22,2024 . I then contacted Nissan to cancel the Gap and maintenance packages. I called, emailed and mailed requested to cancel. It wasnt approved until June 10. However, they didnt cut the check until June 12 BUT they didnt mail the check until June 24 and kept saying you must wait 35 days for us to do anything. The entire time, they didnt mail it. How is it legal for them hold customers money that is owed the customer? Im still waiting on another refund but it seems they held that until the last minute as well.

      I had a problem with the dealership in Cedar Park, TX with a spare key fob. They didn't explain that I had to have all my other copies of the fob present when they issued me a new one. So when I got home, the original key no longer worked. When I called to report the issue, they said just bring it back and they would take care of it. But when I actually showed up at the dealership, they wanted to charge me another $119 for their error. They gave me Nissan USA's number to file a complaint. When I called the corporate office, they opened a case. A lot of good that did. They said the dealer would be reaching back out to me but they never did. Basically, the local dealership doesn't care about customer service (this is my second vehicle from this location and sixth Nissan overall BUT it will be my last Nissan purchase) and the corporate office can't do anything about it because the Cedar Park location is an independent dealer. I'm leaving 1 star because it's all part of the same Nissan name. If the dealer refers complaints to the corporate office, the corporate office sure should be able to take some REAL action on behalf of the dissatisfied customer.
