Sold me a defective new truck. It took me a week and a half to get a service appointment. I was unable to start my truck to make the appointment. The only assistance they offered was to reschedule for another two weeks out. I took my truck to another dealership and was able to get in the next day. I will never buy from here again.

My Suburban was towed to Wilson Co Motors by ** Roadside Assistance on 9/11/23 for a faulty transmission that is under full ** warranty. Was told 2 to 3 weeks before they could get to it. A week later they called and stated they test drove and confirmed the faulty transmission and they were going to push to have new transmission put in since this one has already been rebuilt under warranty once before (by ** dealership in Nashville). Fast forward 8 weeks and they never once again reached out to me to update on any progress for repair. I had to call them or stop in person to get any kind of update over the 8 weeks. At one point when I stopped by the dealership in person I was told there was “zero ETA” to get to my vehicle. In fact the final two weeks the vehicle was there I was calling the service advisor and service manager for updates and never did they answer the phone or return my voicemails. At week 8 I went into the dealership and told them I’ve been calling with no call back and wanted an update. Service advisor stated she would email the director and he would call me the next day. The next morning the same service advisor called me and stated the director deemed the faulty transmission on “workmanship” from the previous ** dealership that rebuilt it and that it would have to go back to them for repair (** roadside assistance will only tow to the nearest ** dealership for warranty repairs) A ** warranty is a ** warranty regardless of dealership. Even if it was workmanship the only way that claim could be made truthfully is if they actually tore the transmission apart and inspected it. Which they never did because they never even worked on it other than a test drive a week after it was dropped off. The only thing this dealership did right was offer a complimentary tow to the other ** dealership in Nashville (couldn’t wash their hands fast enough). The Nash ** dealership was more than willing to take my Suburban back for repairs. Stay clear of Wilson Co Motors!

Had found a vehicle on the web site and made contact with salesperson for the price. The next day received an email stating the price had been dropped by 5000.00 by sales manger. Drove 45 minutes to the dealership and the salesperson said it hadn’t dropped. Basically said to bad about an email they sent and wasted my time driving over. The sales manager should have came out and explained why we got the email since the salesperson said it wasn’t from them.

*****, Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I think I know what the issue is and am very sorry for the confusion. If you will contact me, I'll be happy to sell you that vehicle at the 41,988 price on the email you received in the email. You can contact me at ************ or *******@wilsoncountyauto.com. Again, I apologize for the issue. Very sincerely, Mitchel B***, owner

Mitchell stepped up and was outstanding to honor the price. This turned into a great experience and we did purchase the vehicle. I was glad we were able to make the deal happen. This is probably the 5th vehicle I have purchased at Wilson County motors over the last 25 years and glad the Bone family still has integrity to do the right thing. I will be back soon for a new truck soon.

This is the 3rd truck we have bought from Wilson County Motors. Anytime the truck pulls a trailer (which is often) the check engine light comes on and the truck goes into reduce power or complete loss of power mode and the truck screen flashes warnings saying service DEF and it leaves you on the side of the road. This is an issue that happens EVERY TIME this new truck pulls a trailer. We have give Wilson County Motors ample opportunities to solve the issue. The new truck has been back to the dealership for warranty service to work on this problem 4 times and the issue is still not resolved. Every time we've taken it back and explained the issue and shown photos of the screen on the truck, they say it will take over a week to get it into the shop and work on it. They are trying to continue to push us off until the warranty runs out and not address this- even though there is a service bulletin and it's a known issue. This is totally unacceptable from a new vehicle and also from the dealership. How dangerous for us to be on the side of the interstate with a 4 month old with semis flying by us. Dangerous and unacceptable and it just came back from their service department a few days ago. We do not recommend purchasing anything from them- maybe try the mt. juliet or nashville dealer instead! Just sharing our experience, in hopes that other people can avoid the headache!
