RE: Madison location - I was looking to purchase a new boat and decided to use America's Motorsports because they were closer to our home incase of service. My 1st payment was made to hold the boat. Now, I did not even get the boat yet and I'm currently going to rate them at 2 stars due to their very POOR customer service. First they told me they were competitive priced and that is not the case. I received 2 prices from other dealers (after my payment made) that were $2,400.00 less for the identical boat (except for color). So they charge me more than other dealers and then their staff does not respond very quickly at all. If fact, the sales guy we dealt with was a younger kid apparently with little experience but he can definitely text in fact that was their preferred method of contact. Ok, we all have to get on board with technology so we do just that. During the transaction I noticed they left my credit card information on the sales order which is no big deal, but they also left my security code number clearly visible on the sales order, okay I get it, it is business but the sales guy decided to text me a picture of the sales order to sign and send back. I realize that all this business has been transacted on the sales guy's personal cell phone. This is how America's Motorsports secures their customers **** information? I was concerned so I crossed out my info signed the deal and we are on our way to getting a boat. I decided to call the manager to let them no that is not a good security practice for their customers and was eventually called back by Ken (manager). This gentleman is a poor excuse for a manager. Ken had a nonchalant attitude and was actually non-caring. I told him about the poor and slow to respond customer service and he said he would talk to the sales guy but said they did nothing wrong with my personal credit information by having my personal information out on a salesman's personal cell phone. That is a potential breach of security.Don't Use
