1 starI have been a customer of *** for over 20 years and have purchased about $110,000 worth of cars from this dealership. My most recent purchase was a 2017 ******* that I bought in 2017 and it has had at least 10 or more recalls on it since I bought it. I purchased it brand new. The vehicle was one of the vehicles that could easily be stolen using an IPhone cord, causing me to have to use a club to lock the steering wheel. *** has since done the update, however, I still use the wheel lock to protect it. My current issue is about a recall that is on the rod in the motor that is causing my vehicle to consume oil and has damage to the engine to where it requires replacing. I went to *** on 2-26-2025 and was told in order for them to fix it I would have to drive it 4000 more miles and come in every 1000 in order to get *** to replace the engine that they know is a company made malfunction and not the fault of the customer as I have done all the maintenance at the dealership and is up to date. The vehicle engine rattles, knocks, leaks oil and hesitates to accelerate which is very dangerous and now unsafe to operate and *** wants me to risk my life driving it ****************************************************** to get rid of the vehicle or I get hurt in a car wreck driving an unsafe vehicle. Also, I work remote from home and it will take me 6 months or more to rack up the 4k miles they want me to use the vehicle. I don't think that is fair to me as a repeat customer to have to risk my life just so they will possibly resolved this problem in the future!!!! I can't go visit out of town family like my daughters and held hostage by a vehicle that is unsafe and *** is refusing to honor my 100k warranty and the recall which are all things promised by their Corporation! I need help with this matter and I will never buy another *** again will always tell people to stay clear of this place as the service department doesn't care about the safety of ***'s customers.Review fromMark S

1 starTerrible experience talking to ******* ***** sales consultant this morning. No smile, no hello, just what do you need. After discussing my issue with my engine burning oil and needing a diagnostic check, he laughed and told me ***s are known to burn oil and a diagnostic wont show that issue. I then asked him about the recall on some *** engines for burning oil and he smiled and said he knows nothing about that. I politely said ok and just walked out! Terrible experience and will tell everyone I know to stay far away from this place!Review fromAlli L

5 stars******* ****** is the happiest and most kind service consultant. Being a young woman, it seems like I tend to get taken advantage of when it comes to car servicing. He has the best customer service and offered what I needed. Gossett Dodge is definitely lucky to have such a warm personality on their team.Review fromJannita J

1 starThis company, especially the Finance manager does not do business morally. They do not care about the consumer! I have referred several people to this location and I was sold a vehicle that after a month, I found had a maintenance defect that would cost over $2500 to fix. It is my opinion that the Finance Manager did not properly explain my warranty policy in order to push the sale because he knew I would decline it! When I spoke to him, he was nonchalant! When I spoke to the store manager ******, he did not offer any help! I even called to speak with the owner and left several messages, but no one returned my calls! I think this was an unfair business practice and it left me, the consumer with a brand new car that is not dependable!!!Review fromCharlotte G

2 stars**** at *************************** service is not accessible. I came for service but was in a wheelchair. Could not get over HUMP at entry door. Sat outside to wait to me waited on and for my car to be serviced. Another customer attempted to assist, but still was unable to get in with wheelchair. This establishment needs to be made accessible to the handicapped; to include handicapped accessible doors.Review fromVal R.

1 starWorst sales experience I have ever had!!! Do not buy cars from this company. I am a woman, and I was treated with disrespect. I would go as far as to say that misogyny and racism are alive here. I was uncomfortable. I test drove a vehicle , and there was no gas in the car. Did not have enough gas to get back to the dealership. I put my own money in the vehicle for gas, so that I could safely get back to the dealership. Was not reimbursed. And the car was sold right out from underneath me. I believe I was "bait" to get a sale. This place perpetuates "the sleaze" in a car dealer. I do not recommend spending your hard earned cash with this company!!!!Review fromRobert D

1 starI took my Kia *** to Gossett Motor Cars on Mt. ****** in ******* Tn to fix a sensor that kept poping up on the dash board. After a complete check and then $250 for checking sensors which I did not agree with. In each I had to pay to recover my car. I then agreed to pay $2,400 for fixing my car I then drove it home while waiting for parts. I took it back before the parts came which they had charged me for because of a loud noise from the car. They said a shroud had come loose and I said they did not put my car together properly. They did not agree. They were charging me to replace my front bumper which I did not know had been damaged. After starting the work they charged me for more damage they found .$3.300 dolars later I got my car back with them saying I had more damage. I recovered my car and ***** Gossett owner of Gossett motor cars told me they did nothing wrongReview fromClair J

1 starThis is a copy of the letter I sent to Gossett Motor February 15, **** and no one has took the time to call me yet.February 15, **** Gossett ********************************************************************* 2013 ********** Passat. VIN #1VWBN7A36DC78411 This is to the president and managements of Gossett ********** concerning a vehicle we have had serviced at two of your dealerships. We purchased this vehicle August 23, 2021 and only were able to comfortably enjoy it for approximately 5 months. Beginning February 11, 2022 we put the car in the shop at Gossett ********** on ***************, ******* ** and from then until now this car has been in and out of the shop 11 times. The last two times we picked up the vehicle it was at Gossett ********** on ***************************, ******* **. At least four times we have had it towed to the shop for repairs. This cost us from $200.00 to $250.00 each time. The next to the last visit to the shop, we had it towed again and I was told that they were putting their top mechanic on it. Well I guess he wasnt the top. They kept it three weeks, I did not rush them. They defilingly took their time. We paid $4,635.07, which I considered very high, and picked it up. On the way home about ten miles away from the shop car started losing power and several lights came on and it had to be towed to the house. It has been sitting where the tow truck driver dropped it off since then. But I was told that they did 100 miles plus test run. We was told it passed all inspections. We carried it back the following week. NOW, we are being told that there is something wrong with the engine and transmission and would cost approximately $10.000.00 to fix. NOT WORTH IT. I feel that if they had the top mechanic working on it, he should have noticed the engine and transmission problem before we paid the $4,000.00 plus and I wouldnt have had it the $4,635.07 work done on it.Review fromJoseph A

1 starThis happened 9/5/2023. Took my vehicle there for repair. The wait was long so I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere. The agent a *********** said she had to speak with the technician. Mind you my car hadnt been move from the location the tow truck dropped it. I made that point to Md King. She then made this statement that alerted my senses of bad integrity. She said the technician perhaps looked at the vehicle and put at the same location. She would have to go with whatever they say. I knew at that point they was engaging in unscrupulous practices. I was not expecting this because non whatsoever and was completely surprised. That they would try to get money from me and had done nothing. ** I was waiting for her to meet with the technician, I observed her and a technician go out the rear door. I assumed they was headed to my vehicle so I headed there too. My assumptions were right. They were at my vehicle and the technician was raising the hood with the paperwork for the car on his hand. He was about to give a quick diagnosis of the vehicle so that they could have a way to charge me. But my arrival disrupted their deceitful tactic. They reluctantly have me my keys at that point knowing their action was clearly exposed. Beware!Review fromCharice C.

1 starOn 6/5/23, my 2011 Kia **** was broken into, and my son called Gossett Kia on Mt. Moriah to inquire about the timetable on repairing my vehicle. My son spoke with ***** and was told 6 weeks to repair the car. I notified the insurance company, and a tow truck was sent immediately, and we proceeded to Gossett Kia. When we arrived, I introduced myself to ***** and told him he had spoken to my son about the car. He instructed the tow truck driver where to take the car and we then went inside to give him my information. He told my husband and me to give him 3-4 weeks and he would give us a call with a status update. My husband called ***** on week 4 and was made to believe that ***** no longer worked for **** He spoke with ********, and she told him she would find out and give him a call back. ******** called me and said she had a supplement estimate for the damage to the car. I gave her the information I had to get that to the insurance company and reached out to my insurance to make sure they received the information. I was told the information had to be uploaded by the dealership or submitted by virtual assistance in order to move forward. The first week of July, I called back to the dealership and ******** informed me that ***** was back and handling my service again. I left several messages for him every other day with no call back. My husband spoke to him and informed him we needed a status update. ***** told my husband he would call him back and called me, so I informed him the insurance company emailed him a link to upload the supplement estimate. He told me about some new email spam blocker, and he would call me back when he rec'd the email... I'm still waiting on that call. On July 27th my husband and I went to the dealership to get some understanding to the situation and was informed that ***** had quit the day before. We spoke with **** the service manager and he told me that 2 parts were still needed and hadn't arrived. As of 8/11 still no car or call back.
